It was exactly what we needed to be able to bring our anxious dogs with us on vacation.

Wonderful resort

This was a nice, clean, spacious home that was in a great location for all our activities. The host also returned all inquiries very quickly. You are expected to wash and put way all the dishes and wash the towels before you leave. I only mention because this is something you have to plan for accordingly and I appreciated this comment in other reviews so I had a heads up.

Very nice home with a great location. Gracious hosts, well-stocked kitchen, and very clean. Highly recommend for a group of 6.

Our family was so impressed with the Country Chalet. Our family called the rental home for a week. The house was clean and all setup for us. Check-in was seamless and on time. The kitchen was the best stocked one we've had in a rental. Having little things like spices and cooking oil made cooking meals-in a breeze. The layout is perfect for families. We even did an outdoor fire and got a great look at the stars. It's minutes away from Fish Creek and just a short drive to the other towns. Getting around was so stress-free.

This is our second stay at the country chalet. It has lots of space and a great layout. We particularly like the loft office and attached garage.

Really enjoyed our stay. It was very well stocked with supplies, dishes, etc. It had everything we could need and we really liked the location!

This is the second time we stayed here. First time was pre-pandemic. The Chalet is great. The King bed upstairs is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need for eating in. We adventure out on our tandem bicycle. The chalet is close to Fish Creek and Egg Harbor. We can easily ride to the lake side of the peninsula. The garage access is a main feature so that we can secure our bike in the evenings and keep it out of the weather.

House is very comfortable. Kitchen is completely set up for cooking meals easily. Spacious rooms throughout. Peaceful, wooded neighborhood in a very convenient location. Loved that we could bring our dogs. Thanks for sharing your home!

We enjoyed our stay. The coffee pods and bug spray were appreciated. We also lit a fire and roasted marshmallows. The garage door didn’t work as easily as I would have liked. Washing all the towels and putting the dishes away before a 10 AM check out was not relaxing.

Good layout for family and friends with separate sleeping areas. Clean and thoughtful details such as labeled light switches.

The Chalet has it all. The owners have thought of, and provided everything one would need for a 5-day stay. The kitchen well stocked, bedroom and bathroom supplied with high quality linens and the great room has cozy throws and ample dry wood for a delightful fire in the fireplace. The home is located close to many restaurants and shops in Door County and yet has a woodsy, tucked away vibe. Our family looks forward to a possible return trip.

This home is the perfect distance from downtown Fish Creek. It is a 5-minute drive but in a neighborhood of large, wooded lots/homes. Very quiet and beautiful. It was the best supplied house we have ever rented and has excellent amenities- wifi, TV, dvd & vhs, radio. Excellent kitchen appliances and supplies. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom, with the king bed & in-suite bath, is huge snd private. Access to the garage was a real plus. The owner was super responsive. We can’t wait to return!

Well maintained and great location for doing things in Door County. House was well stocked with everything (towels, kitchen, toiletries, etc.) Always enjoyed coming “home” after a day of exploring and shopping, because the house felt so welcoming. The house is in a very quiet, wooded and secluded area. Great area to walk dogs around the circular neighborhood. Host was quick to respond if there were questions. I highly recommend the home.

House was very clean. Tons of space. The renters very accommodating and had everything we needed. Would for sure stay here again. Very cozy home.

Our stay at the house was very relaxing. The small neighborhood it is in is secluded, yet close to everywhere on the peninsula. You are just far enough out to think you are the only one in the area. The house has a friendly warmth to it, we felt at "home" when we walked in. There is no mistaking that you are welcome to use the house as it was your own. The Chalet definitely made our stay in Door county more enjoyable.

The house was clean, nicely secluded and provided us privacy and a feeling of being in the woods and escaping. We really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and open concept of the house. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. The only negative I would say was the lack of lighting for tasks and/or reading. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed the house and our host was delightful. Thank you. We would certainly return.

We had a week at the house and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house has everything! The large garage made for easy loading and unloading the truck.

Overall we had a really good time during our two-week stay and would recommend this home to others. The home had a great loft, the kitchen was well-stocked, the bathrooms had wonderful amenities, we even had a garage for our car, the road was a great short loop for walking our dog, it was quite quiet given the location being in the woods and it was about a mile to Fish Creek. It was about what we expected and we were able to easily explore a lot of Door County given the central location. We had one glitch that dropped our stay from great to good and it was because we didn’t have a fridge during one week. This resulted in us having to eat out much more than we planned and having to throw out much food that we didn’t trust. Yet, this wasn’t anyone’s fault and the owners went well out of their way to get us a small fridge and cooler until a new fridge was brought. In addition, they reimbursed us $200 which helped offset our costs. The only other suggestions I’d give the homeowners is to get room-darkening shades and clean the carpets but other than that the home was great. So bottom line the question is “would we stay here again” and the answer is “of course”.

This is a lovely, bright, and roomy property. The attached garage was an added bonus, especially when we were loading to leave during a rain storm..

This really is the perfect Door County rental. While just off 42 and minutes from both Egg Harbor and Fish Creek, it also boasts a beautiful wooded lot and privacy in the back yard. We loved sitting on the deck with the dogs and listening to the birds while having morning coffee. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the Pack and Play for the baby in either of the two larger bedrooms. Marla was quick to get back to us when we had questions. You won’t regret staying in this wooded paradise!

Had a nice time with the family at this location in the woods. Took the kids and dogs and everyone seemed to enjoy. We had a fire in the fire pit one evening, walked around the homes, etc. The only issue was the beeping of dishwasher and the freezer seemed to leak a little. The beds were comfy. We would go back.
