My partner and I had a great stay at Marcus’ place. The pool was so refreshing on a hot day. We also enjoyed the hot tub at night after a long day on our feet. Beautiful backyard with gorgeous trees and plants. We had everything we needed and we’re very comfortable.

I honestly would come to Sonoma and just hang out at this house. It was beautiful, clean, inviting, lush and great location! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property that was close to everywhere we were going (none of the wineries or restaurants we went to in Napa or Sonoma were more than an hour away). Marcus met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property. He has a garden and was gracious enough to let us pick from it throughout our stay (blackberries and arugula were our favorites)! Great outdoor pool and hot tub. Would recommend and plan to stay again! :)

Tranquil, relaxing and great location as this place is a quick drive or 30 min walk to Sonoma square. Marcus made the check in process so easy. We enjoyed some quiet time poolside and a game of cards in the garden while sipping champagne. Would definitely stay here again.

Husband and I enjoyed the downtime and the amenities that made our time so very relaxing! Marcus was so accommodating! The neighborhood was also nice and quiet!

We truly enjoyed this place. It was perfect for our sister getaway! We could sit back and enjoy the private patio area and the pool and hot tub, or go out and enjoy the great food, wine and beer of the area. The weather was perfect! We will be back!

Great hosts, lovely cottage tucked in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by lush gardens. The pool was a treat-loved watching the myriad birds while swimming. Comfy bed and all one could need for a pleasant stay

Our stay was like a dream. We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard complete with a variety of birds, beautiful gardens, various meditative sitting areas, a salt water pool and hot tub, all in a private setting of vineyards next door and trees all around. Our room was very clean and included all the amenities we needed. Quiet, nice neighborhood, close to downtown Sonoma .

If you’re travelling to Sonoma, you must try and stay here. Marcus and Marilyn have crafted the most stunning back yard complete with a lovely pool and hot tub. Marcus gave us great suggestions of places to go and see during our visit and was a treat to talk to. Check in and check out was a breeze and Marcus could be reached via text whenever we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable and we really enjoyed the bottle of sparkling brüt left for us in the mini fridge on our personal garden patio. Thanks so much for making our first trip to Sonoma one to remember!

This rental wasn't exactly what we expected. The room is connected to the main house. The description doesn't say "Casita" but for some reason that's what I expected from the pictures. My wife and I had just finished a white water rafting trip in Yosemite and were pressed to make it to the property during the recommended check in times. Adriana was very prompt and responsive in our communication. She even sent a detailed video of the check in because we arrived so late. Our initial impression of the property wasn't the greatest because we were looking forward to the hot tub upon arrival (and it wasn't a Casita) but for some reason the hot tub wasn't fully turned on. We had asked Adriana to fire it up for us earlier in the day but it was bath water when we arrived. We actually considered leaving the first night to a resort but decided to go hit the downtown instead. We got the hot tub fired up for day two so we were relieved that we stuck around. This was our first time to the Sonoma/Napa area so we spent most of our time out and about so the rental really just served as a home base for our luggage and sleeping. The bed was very comfortable, the location was great. The outdoor mini fridge was a nice touch, I was able to store some night cap beers in it. It felt like we had the house to ourselves because we didn't hear or run into Marcus any of the three days. Check out was also very simple and streamlined. The outdoor amenities of this rental are great but would be better suited for a larger party, I would only consider renting this property again if we had the entire house and could bring friends to stay with us. Overall we enjoyed staying here but would absolutely pick a hotel/resort if we could do it all over again. Thank you!

Beautiful, clean property and a welcoming host! We loved the nice touches, such as a bottle of champagne waiting for us, a keurig in the room, and the travel scrabble which we thoroughly enjoyed. The mattress was SO COMFORTABLE, which was a really nice surprise!!! :) Would come back in a heartbeat - minutes away from Sonoma Square.

We loved the pool and hot tub. The fruit trees and flowers were beautiful. Fresh limes and figs. What a treat.

We enjoyed an amazing, quiet weekend getaway from the hustle bustle of San Francisco. Marcus was a very kind host, greeting us when we arrived and showing us around the property. The room has a private entrance and a very comfy kingsized bed. The accommodations were very modern and included a bottle of sparkling wine! During your stay, the entire backyard is at your disposal including a fire pit, pool, and hot tub. We took advantage of the pool, which was the perfect temperature, given the sunny, 90 degree days (pool towels were provided). For a few hours each day, we ventured into Sonoma which was a 7 min car ride (Uber was easy to get in the area, phone service was working fine) for some tasty eats and wine tasting. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks, Marcus!

We loved our time in Sonoma and staying at Marcus’s place was fantastic. He is a great host and goes out of his way to accommodate. The back yard pool area is peaceful, quite and private. The house is located very close to downtown Sonoma and Fairmont spa (highly recommended). All and all it was a great relaxing stay.

This property is amazing. Marcus made sure the suite had every amenity. We had big plans for Sonoma wine tasting but the perfect weather and amazing private pool and yard were impossible to resist and we spent a very relaxing weekend mostly enjoying our VRBO. Marcus was attentive (even stocking our refrigerator with local beverages) but never intrusive. We will definitely return!

I took my boyfriend for his birthday the weekend of July 13-15, 2018, and had the BEST time! We absolutley loved Marcus and Marilyn's place. They were the best hosts and let us check in early and had everything we needed, including wine, beer, water, wine glasses, and openers. Marcus met us and showed us how everything worked and was really accomodating to anything we needed. The backyard is seriously like paradise. Marcus had plenty of pool towels set out and ready for us, and we spent hours each day laying by the pool and relaxing. The backyard is really private and so, so, so charming. We loved it. At night, we sat on the patio, and there were a lot of cute lights hung up and turned on in the trees and the gazebo. It's really close to a running trail that will take you into town (about 1.5 miles by the trail). We didn't want to leave and would totally stay again! I highly recommend anyone looking for a romantic, relaxing, perfect weekend!! Thank you Marcus and Marilyn for an AMAZING weekend!

Beautiful property, spacious room and bathroom, great amenities. Marcus provided a welcome atmosphere and stunning space. We truly enjoyed our stay and the pool space. Not too far from the plaza and nice neighbourhood. Really enjoyed our stay!

Marcus is a very kind and attentive host. He has every amenity you need. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. Go visit wine country and stay here. You won't regret it.
