Our stay exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience, from the owner's hospitality to the ease of check-in to the cleanliness that was evident the moment we entered. We chose this unit for the view of the Bay, the close proximity to the white sandy beach and the amenities, especially the pool. We were not disappointed! The unit is updated with modern appliances, accommodations and comfortable beds. The pull-out couch was equally comfortable. The AC works great and kept us plenty cool. Another thing that we noticed was that when the trash was collected in the complex, we didn't hear any noise. And the lawn maintenance was not an interruption. We especially appreciated the way the owner provided great information and communication leading up to our stay. He has thought of the small details like extra hooks for towels/clothes on the bathroom door and inside the foyer. The utility room off the patio has everything you need. We used the sun-shield tent every day on the beach and the beach cart was an added bonus! Finally, the view of the bay was inspirational, with gorgeous sunrises and placid waters in the evenings. We got to see egrets, blue heron and other wildlife right from our patio. We also spotted dolphins and manatee. We are grateful for such a home away from home!

Nice condo short walk to beach.

We had a great stay on AMI. The condo was a perfect size for our family of four. Great location just a short walk from the beach. The kids especially liked the birds who consistently paid us a visit on the back patio.

It was my 3rd time staying there and my experience with the owner was exceptional. He responded quickly and wanted feedback to make things better! Wagner Realy was also exceptional . They went over and beyond to make sure our stay was great!

The property was lovely, great location with the back patio facing the bay side, which allowed us views of the amazing sunrises, manatees, dolphins, herons and other birds, racer snakes, boats. We were also really lucky with the weather, sunshine and clear skies every day. The property is well maintained and stocked with everything we needed including a moka coffee pot, which we used daily for our espressos! Everything worked well and was kitchen had all modern white goods. We felt very comfortable straight away. We did have an issue with one door (not urgent at all), but Pierluigi and Wagner Realty were amazing and sorted it out within 15 minutes. I was very impressed! Facilities on site were also good, we used the pool numerous times and everything outside was well maintained. Nearly every day there were gardeners and such tidying borders, cutting grass, trimming trees etc. Although the condo is on the back of the complex, it's only a 4 minute walk to the beach, so we also enjoyed many sunsets, so we really had the best of both worlds. We'd definitely stay here again (this was our 5th visit to Runaway Bay).

This was our third visit to Runaway Bay and these accommodations were the best. This unit has a tremendous bay view, just spectacular. And it comes with friendly shore birds. We had not seen a yellow crowned night heron before. Everything we needed was there. Everything was comfortable. We appreciated being invited to participate in some of the owner convention activities. There was a problem that arose with an appliance about a week into our two week stay. That, of course, is never what the customer wants to have happen. And it could have been a terrible experience because of that. But the owner and property management company (Wagner Realty) were both super responsive and active in making arrangements for the situation. I was so grateful for their concern, problem solving and accommodation for the problem. This experience certainly makes me more trusting of this particular owner and Wagner Realty (special kudos to Cindy). We look forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo on Anna Maria island! The view of the sunrise was amazing! Birds outside right off the patio and being on the side of the bay was great! Would love to stay here again! Place was very clean and comfortable.

This was our first visit to AMI and it did not disappoint. The location of the condo is perfect! Very private and quiet. The king size bed is very nice! The view from the back of the condo is beautiful. The ice maker really needs fixed! We are a family of 5 who packs food/drinks every day for the beach. We really rely on ice at our rental. Two ice trays don’t cut it! While the pool is very well maintained, the closing at 8:00 is a bit much. The older gentleman that come to the pool area at 7:15 are a bit much. They constantly watched everything going on. It was very uncomfortable & made you feel like you were doing something wrong when you weren’t. They started putting down umbrellas and chairs around 7:30. And they told anyone who walked in the pool area after 7:00 that the pool closed in 1 hour— making it seem like you shouldn’t even bother getting in. When you pay this amount of money to stay somewhere we should be able to swim right up until 8:00 even if we arrive in the pool area at 7:50!! We saw MANY pools open on the island after 8:00. Having kids on vacation makes it difficult when they are done with the ocean but the pool closes way before dark. The white doors and trim in the condo could definitely use some fresh paint. The 2 ceiling fans need dusted desperately! The air return door where the furnace is has a very thick layer of dust on it & around it. Fishing at the resort was disappointing, however there is a pier up the road you can fish off for free. Be prepared to bring extra garbage bags and toilet paper! We were able to cook at the condo. Everything we needed for cooking was supplied. Owner was very nice and easy to deal with as was Wagner Reality.

Condo is updated and is beautiful. Everything you need for the beach is included in the outside closet. One thing negative about runaway bay now is the pool closes at 8:00 pm which means no one can enjoy a night time swim.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner, ice maker on refrig has issues, made ice but would not release it in the dispenser, bathrooms had only two partial rolls of toilet paper, and sink in master bath had what looked like mold stains on the caulk?

We loved this condo. The view of the bay from the living room sliding glass door was so peaceful and beautiful. Sunrises were AMAZING. We had a manatee hang out right outside the condo for an entire day... spotted dolphins, boats, pelicans, and birds galore! I'd definitely recommend this particular unit to others. Nice bedroom furniture, nice (bigger) kitchen table. The ONLY thing I did not like is the master bath shower. It is one piece of glass and the shower remains open (no sliding door to close). Water escaped out onto the bathroom floor with every shower but a towel fixed the issue.

We loved this unit! It was perfect for our family. Beautiful views of the water and boats in the morning from the master bedroom and living/dining/kitchen areas. It was equipped with everything you could need. The unit is spacious and nicely decorated. The beach is right across the street. We walked or took the trolley to all the shops and restaurants. Grocery was a 5 minute drive. Perfect location and unit! We will definitely be back!!

Runaway Bay is a great place to be. Walking distance to the beach, to the bay, to the free trolley stop and to restaurants. On site pool, tennis courts and plenty of walking opportunities. Unit 192 is on the bay side. Views of boats, birds and water!! The unit is furnished with everything I needed. Clean and attractive. Newer appliances. Bathrooms are updated- master has a walk-in shower. I didn't want to leave. But I'll be back!!

We stayed about 10 days in this wonderful condo with all the necessary amenities. At the arrival everything loooked clean and tidy. There is an amazing view from the living room and from the owner bedroom of the bay. The house is right next to the water. The owner was very kind: we hard a problem with the sink-grinder and he promptly installed a new one. Even if, in that period, all the area was suffering due to the red tide, we were able to pull it off nicely thanks to the pool, the tennis and the shuffle court. Anna Maria Island is such an amazing place to be. We’ll be back for sure!

A nicely furnished, very comfortable, clean apartment with spectacular views over the bay. We could not recommend it more highly. The owner was very attentive to all our needs and has put a lot of thought into the decoration of the apartment. A wonderful holiday, and we would have no hesitation in returning to this apartment for a third time.

The condo is very clean and update. You have everything you need for stay. The bay view is amazing and ground floor make everything more easily. The beach is just step from the condo and the runaway complex is really nice. Nice pool and area. The owner is really helpful and try to make you always happy. Really suggested. I will come back.

Thank you for a 'memorable' wonderful vacation home to stay in. The view was amazing and enjoyed the peace + quiet . Clean and comfortable environment with wonderful amenities. We BOTH Loved the bay ambiance + easy access to fishing! The Maintenance could have been better with certain items not attended to; kitchen door handle broken, a few other items, and the ceiling fans SHOULD have been clean ( I did them myself) :-) especially the fans over the beds/ Our neighbors were very nice and considerate. The sheets for the KING size mattress kept coming off (not deep pockets) + mattress was comfortable, but a bit stained when I changed out the sheets. Bathrooms were STUNNING! Loved the washer + dryer in the condo!! Overall a Beautiful condo to stay in with really nice decor ! Will stay there again next year :-) Thank you so much, Linda
