We were looking for a quiet week at the beach and this place certainly delivered. Quiet neighborhood and comfortable accommodations.

The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Spacious family room was nice and the huge bath tub with TV was an added bonus. Large front and rear decks plus the outdoor shower was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach and the fenced in yard kept our pup safe. The walk to the beach is 2-3 minutes and the stairs leading down allows for beautiful coastal views. My family of five enjoyed our week and we will be back. Lauren was a great and very attentive host. Highly recommend!

Had a nice two weeks here. An easy walk to the beach, enjoyed Plymouth very much. Hosts were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Only improvement we'd make is that the amenities are a little sparse. A hair dryer was listed as being available but we never found one. More coffee mugs/cups would be a good thing too. A coffee table in the living room would have been good to have too. The place has everything you could likely need and we also made it work for us. We'd certainly stay here again, the beach and area were great and the house was too.

We had a great time at the beach! Highly recommended for a family. Cozy and within walking distance to the beach, both through a path with no steps and one with 100 stairs. I preferred the later, and so did my dog, but my wife like the path better. A small improvement, but certainly not one that would impact the rating, is that there could have been more tablets for washing dishes and more toilet paper. I bought both when I went grocery shopping, no big deal, however for a family of 4 having more than 2 of each would have been good. It was a great vacation!

Great location - new deck at the front of the house is perfect location for coffee in the AM and drinks at sunset. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors very friendly! We had a great time.

overall very happy with our vacation and rental. super clean, easy process and great beach. the property exterior could use a bit of attention - lawn, paint, outdoor shower cleaning (powerwashing) and the only real complaint with the inside was the shower and shower pan are in NEED of repair. Again, overall happy - and perhaps the small things needing attention are reflected in the price (no complaint there), but fixing those few things would go a long way.

This was our first time staying at this property and it did not disappoint . Great location close to the beach and many great restaurants. Perfect property with many amenities for our family and we will be back. The welcome basket was an excellent touch !

We had a great time at this lovely little cottage which is just a short walk from Manomet Beach. The house was clean, spacious (3 bedrooms), and the hosts are lovely. We will definitely be back in the future!

The house was charming. The beach was a little bit of a trek and a lot of stairs. We enjoyed being close to Plymouth for site seeing and eating as well as an hour from the cape. The house was clean and hosts were very responsive. The kitchen supplies were bare bones which I guess varies by property. Their were 2 true bedrooms plus bunkbeds in an area separated by a curtain. It was fine for my kids. They enjoyed the bunkbeds. The yard and parking was sufficient. The weather was so hot while we were there we really didn’t use the yard/deck.

This was a great place to rent in a quiet neighborhood. The cottage was exactly as described and really had everything we needed, including a great little welcome basket with things to do in Plymouth. The fenced in yard was perfect for my pup too. Lauren was super easy to book with and very responsive to questions we had.

Exactly as advertised, you walk in to a cool, welcoming, and spotless home. This is our first time renting this home, so we brought a lot of our own things that we never needed. The house is full of nice touches, including a wonderful welcome basket. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here, the owners are wonderful. Great stay, would do it again.

Very friendly cottage within walking distance to the beach. We brought our dog along and enjoyed the fenced in yard with grass. House was family friendly for our 2 and 5 year olds. A short drive to downtown where a family can enjoy the shops, playground and water splash pad. Highly recommend for families with dogs who want to enjoy the beach and area nearby.

We had a great two weeks in Manomet Beach! Lauren is lovely to communicate with and we love the dog friendly house and dog friendly beach! Our family of four were comfortable to enjoy the South Shore!

The property was well maintained, the beach was lovely, and we had quick and friendly responses from the owners. Highly recommend. Location is great, can’t ask for a better spot.

Lauren was very responsive before and during our stay and answered all my questions promptly. The house is very clean and cozy w comfy beds. Location just a couple minutes walk to very pretty private beach where you can bring your dog to romp around. Nice fenced in backyard a plus for dog owners too. Thanks for a nice stay!

It was very clean. They were excellent at communicating and made an extra air conditioner available to us, and brought it over. The beach is a nice short walk. We had a great time :)

Owner is very nice and responsive/available. Cute cottage. Access to the beach requires stairs (83 steps!) up and down but worth it when you get there. Clean private beach. Lots to do in Plymouth. I recommend it.

My family and I just returned from a 1 week stay at this rental. It was impeccably clean! Probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. The layout of the house is perfect for a family, our kids loved the bunk beds, our dog loved the yard, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking. The location of the house is excellent. The beach near by is wonderful, peaceful, and such an easy walk away (the steps are a workout, though!). Plymouth itself is a charming place to visit and makes a great base camp for exploring the rest of the cape. We easily visited as far north as Provincetown and even took the ferry to Nantucket. Definitely take a look at the welcome binder when you arrive for ideas on what to do. There is so much going on in the area, we were able to fill almost every day with new experiences. I definitely recommend this rental for its cleanliness, location, and hospitality!

The Manomet beach house was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog! It was clean and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved how the beach was just steps away (my daughter counted approximately 300 steps from gate to gate with her little legs). The beach being dog friendly was a huge plus. We had a great week, and we would definitely stay again!

This property was perfect for a family of four with a pup! We booked this in covid times because of the private beach access and it did not disappoint. The neighborhood was so friendly and beach was peaceful every day. The fact that it was steps away from the location was amazing. We were able to bring our new pup with us. He had many other pup friends on the beach since it was very dog and kid friendly. The outdoor shower was warm too just as a regular shower! Beds were comfortable as well. Kitchen had new appliances and everything we needed too. Plymouth was so close. And i loved that we were in between the cape and boston which we visited as well. The fenced in yard was perfect! My only nit picky complaint is that in one front room with the tv, i could smell “dog”. Im not sure if the previous people allowed their pet on the furniture or something, but we could smell it when we went in that room. I know my nose is sensitive to that and its to be expected with a pet friendly place, but it is my only complaint. Id probably add an air conditioner to the master bedroom, but it definitely was cool with the two and the house is well shaded with trees. We just like it very cold when we sleep. I would definitely rent from lauren again!

Lauren and Jon were so communicative and their beach house has all the amenities and is just a short walk from one of the nicer beaches Massachusetts has to offer. Highly recommended and we hope to book our trip to this little slice of paradise again.

Great little base camp for days at the beach or for touring Plymouth!

This cute house is very close to the beach and the best part was that Lauren & Jon allowed out lab-mix to stay at the house. Pros: We enjoyed many walks on the beach with our dog and she got to play with many of the other dogs that walked the beach. The yard is fenced in, but with us having a large-breed dog, we were not comfortable letting her off-leash in the yard. The house was cute and great for a few to stay and enjoy the beach. Close vicinity to Plymouth center as well. The two AC units and fans worked well to cool the whole house down (we were there for two, 90-100 degree days and were comfortable). Cons: The house sleeps 6, however, the bunk beds are not in their own room and have a “window” into the kitchen. The master bedroom got really hot if you closed the door to sleep since there was not an AC unit in that room. The kitchen is great, but I’d recommend bringing your own cutting board (the ones there are very small). All in all, a cute little oasis to enjoy Plymouth, the beach and time with loved ones.

Our family of four and 4 month old pup had a wonderful stay at Lauren and Jon’s house. The house was as described and the fenced in yard was fantastic with the puppy. We loved the proximity to the beach and the friendly locals. Downtown Plymouth with all the historical attractions and good food is a short 20 minute ride. We also went for bike rides on the cape cod canal which is about 25 minutes from the house. All in all a great experience!

Our daughter and her family flew in from Texas and gathered with us (and our several dogs) here for a week. It served our needs very nicely, including a little gathering of friends and family in the yard for our granddaughter's 4 birthday party. The beach is gorgeous! Perhaps because Manomet Beach is a private enclave, we only encountered a handful of people on our many beach walks. The short walk to the beach was lovely, as there are many beautiful homes and gardens on the way. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs to have some room to run around, but small enough for us to keep it clean. We would definitely return should we need a place in the Cape Cod area again!

My girlfriend and I stayed for two weeks and had a great time. We also had our dog with us, and he loved the freedom of the fenced in yard. The property was so close to the beach, and was exactly what we needed to get away from Boston for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Would definitely stay again.

We had a relaxing and fun week! The beach is a two minute walk from the house and just perfect! We spent most of our time on the beach or the deck! We brought our dog who enjoyed the fenced in yard. There was no reason to go far- great restaurants, coffee spots, bakeries- within 2miles! We would definitely return for another stay!!!

This rental was easy to get to, away from. The hustle and bustle but still close to drive and get out. Lauren was super nice and responsive to any questions we had. The only thing I could say would have made it perfect is if there was an ac in the adult bedroom and some more mirrors. The bedroom was really hot and hard to get ready with 5 girls and 2 mirrors. Other than that though it was perfect.

Owners communicate very quickly and are extremely responsive. Property was just as listed. It was perfect for our family and the fenced yard was perfect for oyr dogs. It was a grear experience!

We loved this cozy beach house! A short walk to a beautiful beach which was uncrowded and very relaxing. The house was larger than it looks online and we loved the fenced yard which was very private. Will definitely consider renting again!

This property and description deserves all 5 stars! We had an amazing time and can not wait to return! The property was very clean upon arrival, complete with a welcome touch to our family that was much appreciated! The description of all rooms and space was spot on. The owners were very responsive and offered to be as helpful as possible in the event there was any need (which honestly was not) ! The beach and locals were nothing but wonderful and so incredibly friendly! It truly was an absolute PERFECT vacation for our family of 4, grandmother and our 4 legged doggie. Looking forward to our return! Thank you!

The list is quite long of all the great things Lauren & John’s rental has to offer. I was most impressed by the very friendly year-round and seasonal residents, surprisingly peaceful and quiet Manomet Community, and of course the beauty of Mass/Cape Cod Bay. The beach is fantastic and really close to the house. It’s only 6 doors down from the stairway entrance and only a couple minutes longer if you choose the path route. The cottage offers everything one could need: it’s very comfortable with a fully functional kitchen, comfy sleeping arrangements for 8 people, a roomy indoor living space with a well-situated deck with gas grills and a fully fenced in yard for the four-legged members of your family (major bonus in my book!). The indoor and outdoor showers have great water pressure. There are 2 AC’s and several fans that do a great job of keeping the house cool when needed. For sports fans, all the major cable channels are available, I was able to watch both the Women’s World Soccer Cup and Wimbledon Tennis Championships! The location can’t be beat. It’s close to historical downtown, the Plantation, restaurants, shopping and Cape Cod. If I had to nit-pick anything …. the back deck could use some TLC (a lot of peeling paint, some boards are lifting and rotting) & screen door doesn’t close all the way. I fell in love with the community, the owners are great people and I will be returning next year.
