We stayed at Idyllic for almost 2 weeks with our grown children and their spouses. It was perfect! The view and the location were exceptional! My husband woke early every day just to sit outside and overlook Chocolate Hole. My kids loved the separate apartment on the lower level. The pool was lovely too. We had a wonderful time!

Husband and wife stayed with newly married daughter and husband. PLENTY of room for a third couple. Jackie was amazing. Arranged all logistics. We have been to St john 4 times. This was the cleanest property we stayed at. Will be back. Everything was EXACTLY as stated and in the pictures. Pool was great plus. Again...VERY Clean!!!!!

You won’t find a house of this size with a beautiful view and a private pool for less than less on St. John. The manager is excellent and extremely thorough and professional. The view is phenomenal. The view could be maximized with some plant trimming but I understand that the owner intends to do that soon, some minor repairs needed in the house, but as I said this place is a steal in my opinion so we didn’t mind at all, manager did point things out and I’ve every confidence if we needed something addressed she would have been right on it. We were way too relaxed to be bothered with normal wear and tear. Pool isn’t heated but was remarkably warm, very comfortable temp. Manager left a welcome basket which was super thoughtful. House is very well stocked with all the things you need, even plenty of alcohol left by precious guests. Excellent, highly recommend and we hope to be back soon! 5 stars

Our experience at the Idyllic Villa was fantastic! Jackie, the property manager, communicated with us throughout the reservation process. She provided valuable information about the property, the island, and various car rental options. She even arranged a private taxi service to meet us at the airport to take us to the Red Hook ferry for an additional fee. The private taxi was worth it! It was a much more comfortable and pleasant ride than the regular taxis that pack their vans full of random travelers. Jackie met us at the St. John ferry dock when we arrived on the island. She took our bags into her car while we retrieved our rental car. Our car rental was delayed because we arrived after their regular closing hours, but Jackie stayed with us while we waited. After we were all set with our rental car, we followed her to the villa, where she gave us a complete property tour. Jackie and the property owners even had a welcome gift of some supplies for us in the refrigerator! The villa is beautiful! The view of Great Cruz Bay is simply stunning. Our family enjoyed sitting in the living room, on the deck, and swimming in the pool while soaking up that view! The villa has everything you need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable; there were plenty of bath and beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and umbrellas for use at the beaches. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, plates, utensils, cooking implements, and herbs and spices. We used the gas grill on the deck to cook a few meals, and it worked wonderfully. The clothes washer and dryer were stocked with detergent and fabric softener. The bathrooms had plenty of bar soap, toilet paper, and other items. Little things like those can often complicate a rental experience, but Jackie and the owners thought of everything! During our stay, we had a minor maintenance issue that was our fault, but Jackie had a maintenance person at the property within 30 minutes of us reporting the problem. Fantastic service! I couldn’t have been happier with our stay and with Jackie. My family is already planning a return trip, and we want to reserve the same villa for next year.

Idyllic was my families property in the late 80’s early 90’s. I was the last to leave back then and I step foot back on it 31 yrs later. I brought 4 friends who had never experienced St John. The house /location was truly ideal and perfect! They fell in love just as I did all those years ago. The house is a perfect size for 6. The outside to me is the best part. An expansive deck with breathtaking views and pool deck to stretch out after a day on the beach. It was all I had hoped and more. Communications were excellent with vacation villa I hope to return again soon with my kids

What a great villa with all the amenities (and more) that I've ever looked for in a vacation rental. Check-in was easy and friendly (thanks, Eileen!) and we spent a wonderful week there with our adult kids. The deck has views that we couldn't get enough of with plenty of seating areas. We had breakfast, Happy Hour, and dinner out on the deck and all spent the last morning soaking up the view one last time. Every day we each grabbed a beach chair and took a taxi to one of the incredibly beautiful beaches. The pool after a day at the beach was wonderful as well. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Great place to stay for you’re vacation in St John. Nice kitchen, wonderful front porch with an amazing view of Great Cruz bay. It was wonderful to look out on the sail boats in the bay. We enjoyed the pool when not at the beach. It was truly an magical place to stay

They say that the 3 most important things with a property is location, location, location. And Villa Idyllic is in a perfect location in the Chocolate Hole area with amazing views of the sea and beautiful daily sunsets. My family of 6 including 4 kids ranging from 8-17 years old spent a week at Idyllic and loved it. We also enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to many great restaurants, beaches and hiking trails. The villa had everything we needed to help make this a vacation a winner. Jackie was super responsive and helpful throughout the process. If you are considering renting a villa in St. John, I would definitely recommend Idyllic.

Everything about this rental was amazing from the communication with Jackie and her team, to the smooth check-in process to Michelle making sure we were doing okay! We just returned from Idyllic Villa and our time there was wonderful. The pictures do not do it justice. We absolutely loved the layout for 2 couples. Plenty of privacy, great outdoor area that’s covered and has a huge table. Plus great pool and pool deck. Also loved how close we were to town… just a 6 minute drive. We will not hesitate to stay here again!

The home met all expectations...wonderful view, well stocked, super clean. The best part was Jackie, the manager. Not only did she set out a beautiful welcome plate of fruit and wine, but she took the time to go over every detail of the house that we would need to know. Later in the week, we headed to the car at 6:45am with plans to take the car ferry to St. Thomas for a full day of excursions (zip lining and sea trek...both highly recommended!). The battery on our rental was completely dead. Needless to say, we were in a panic since we’d prepaid everything and didn’t have much time. Jackie was our only contact, so we called. She picked up right away and was at the house in 5 minutes. The car was too dead to jump, so she took my husband to a nearby gas station for a new battery and helped him install it! We made our ferry and the day was saved! I would highly recommend this house. We loved the pool and used the grill and the well stocked kitchen several times. The location is perfect and the manager is perfect:).

We spent a week on our honeymoon 17 years ago at Idyllic and decided to take our 3 kids this time! It was fantastic! They heard my husband comment how there used to be a hammock on the back deck, and the next day they set one up! Beautiful views and very helpful hosts.

The house was amazing! We had 3 couples and one 14-year-old with us. The house was perfect for our group! We especially loved how one wall is all slider doors - so the wall can completely disappear! There were goodies there for us, games, books, grill, pool and pool furniture. The view was amazing! The beds were comfy. Everything really was wonderful. We will book here again.

We've stayed at Idyllic Villa with our family of 6, kids ranging from 21 to 6. Property manager Jackie met us at the ferry and gave us a short tour of the town, which was much appreciated. She was really responsive whenever we had any questions during our stay. When we got to the villa it was immaculately clean and had some nice welcome gifts. Everyone loved the place and the pool. It was amazingly well stocked with everything you'd expect in your own home. You can tell the house is a little bit dated, but was very recently refreshed and exceptionally well maintained. Our one complaint was the lack of a dining table inside, so we had to use the one on the deck in the evening for dinner, since kitchen peninsula only had space for 2-3 people. This was mitigated by the abundance of fans and beautiful views. The location is excellent as well, since it's only a couple minutes away from the grocery store and downtown, but also on the edge of the town, so it's less crowded and is easy to get out to different places to enjoy St John.

I don’t think it’s fair to give a review of our stay at this property since it was during a very trying time in our world. A lot of things were closed and we were all taking precautions because of the pandemic but we will come back and then be able to have a true St. John experience. My entire family did agree that the property manager Jackie did think of everything to make us feel comfortable during this trying times by providing the proper type of wipes bacterial soap etc.

We had a very large family vacation and rented this home for extra guests. The home is so inviting. The welcome basket, made you feel very welcomed. The house was very clean and the accommodations and spaces were perfect for our guests. The views are spectacular! Pool and pool space, perfect! Thank you for making our family vacation, a true success! We will definitely stay again in the future!

We had an amazing stay in St John at Idyllic. The property was perfect for my family of 6. The kitchen was stocked when we got there, with cold beer and wine waiting. The space allowed for a teenager den. And, the kids loved the pool! Perfect to unwind after long days of hiking and swimming!

We've rented this villa several times. We love the beautiful view of the harbor with St Thomas in the background which we can enjoy while dining on the covered deck. The villa is immaculate and tastefully decorated. We love everything about it!
