It's hard to know where to start. The location of this property on Douglas Island is wonderful. You're within walking distance of 3 restaurants and Sandy Beach. The view of the channel from the living room is world class! I could sit there all day and watch the ships, and planes come and go. And the layout of the house is amazing and wide open. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect place for a group or family to stay while in Juneau. The house is beautiful yet cozy with a spacious, well appointed kitchen , dining area, living room. We had 7 adults in out group and never felt crowded. It’s location is a short drive away from downtown Juneau and within walking distance to restaurants, park/beach on Douglas Island. The view is fantastic ! Besides the natural beauty you have a front row view of the cruise ships coming and going. Owners are very easy to work with and accessible. Sydney even graciously helped me retrieve some jewelry I accidentally left behind. Just an over all great place to stay.

We came from Alabama and had Christmas with our son and his family who live in Juneau. It was a great home for all of us to stay together. Their house is not big enough for us all. The home is comfortable and roomy with 3 nice bedrooms. Our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed our family very much. Sydney and Alan we super host!

This was by far the nicest vacation home we have rented so far. We loved the historic charm of the house. Everything was SOOO clean (I was nervous to dry my face at night for fear of getting makeup on the brand new looking white towels). Sydney & Alan keep their house the way I like to keep my own. The house was also very well stocked with kitchen dishes, utensils, pots and pans. The view outside the front windows was beautiful. Great location to get to everything you could want to do in the Junea area. We would defiantly stay again! Thank you for trusting us with your beautiful home.

We knew nothing about where to stay in Juneau, Alaska. The VRBO listing for the Fleek House looked perfect for our friends trip. We still had no idea where it was in relation to Juneau. It is located in the most perfect place- atop a hill overlooking Gastineau Channel. It proved a gorgeous picture window view of the channel, GIANT cruise ships, seaplanes, helicopters, eagles, and other wildlife. Douglas Island is just minutes over to Juneau via a bridge. Take advantage of all Juneau has to offer. You won’t be disappointed. And the Fleek House with all of its history and amenities will be a perfect base camp to explore.

We couldn’t have been happier with this well equipped home. It was so well stocked for evening dinners with a view. It was great to stay just outside of Juneau. We had great access to all Juneau has to offer. We joked that the only thing lacking from the home is copper mugs for Mules. Haha! It had everything we needed and more! We had two evening fires down at Sandy Beach to cap off our days of adventures.

We’ve stayed here before and always try to book Fleek House whenever we come for family get togethers. Quiet and convenient and sooo beautiful! Every amenity is included and Sydnie and Alan are such gracious hosts! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a cozy comfortable home with a spectacular view!

Nice house with good location for what we were going to do. Close to down town Juneau but not too close. Good and quiet and the Island Pub is just down the hill. Sandy beach is close by too.

A comfy home with an awesome view of ships coming into port.
Working for the cruise lines I am in Juneau every year and decided to stay on Douglas away from the hustle of downtown.
The home was perfect! plenty of room for entertaining and well stocked with games and kitchen supplies.
I felt at home! its also cool that the home is historical and the history is available to read.
The host were available when needed for questions or suggestions.
Within walking distance of a great restaurant and local pubs. I also use the local bus transit which was easy to take me into town.
The beds were incredibly comfortable. The living area was spacious to work and relax.
I will be booking again my next visit to Juneau!

We came into town for the Ironman race and the property was very clean, very nice, and very well maintained. Had. A little trouble figuring out the heat/ac, but we had the windows open most of the time anyways. Great property!

First trip to Juneau and we were not sure what to expect! The house is so much cuter than pics and description…so comfortable, clean and literally had everything we could possibly need. Beds are super cozy and the hosts are very accommodating. The location was perfect! We enjoyed having a glass of wine and watching the cruise ships come and go. Top notch and highly recommend!

We rented this house because of it’s location. Having lived in Douglas, we knew that it was located close to all the things we wanted to do. We also wanted a place sufficient to house ourselves and our adult children. Plus the ability to cook and entertain our many friends. It did not disappoint.
The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. As a vacation rental owner ourselves, We really enjoyed the extra touches and will incorporate them into listing.

Great place, beautiful interior, perfect for a groups.
Host is super friendly and communicates promptly through app. Easy check in, beautiful interior and perfect for a small group. Be fore warned the little road leading up to the house is steep, but the drive levels out (hey, welcome to Juneau!). Kitchen and everything is modern, appliances available, bedrooms are nice and plenty of seating for whatever your preference.
This is the place to choose for your Juneau vacation- I definitely recommend.

Perfect Location , Beautiful House
We were visiting Juneau for our daughter’s wedding. We had one rental car and guests with a variety of interests & physical abilities. The location of the Fleck house was perfect, close enough to down town if we needed to shuttle and the bus runs down 3 rd street every half hour, so our guests could travel independently if they wanted to. The teenager in our group even bicycled around. There are also some good eating options ( Island Pub was our favorite) and beautiful walks near by.
Everyone’s bed was comfortable. The large kitchen and various seating options worked perfectly for our large group.

Juneau vacation stay
The location is away from the bustle of the cruise ships, but still convenient to downtown Juneau. The house was perfect for a family of four with nearly grown children since everyone had their own space.

Outstanding!
Perfect location for me as a former resident, the Fleek House reflects the funky cool of the Juneau community. Nestled in the foothills of Mt. Jumbo on Douglas Island, a multitude of trails and fabulous views are found nearby AND from the windows of Fleek House! Loved the layout, recent renovations and decorations and it was filled with laughter and happiness our entire stay. Thank you Sydney (and Ryan!)

Amazing Property
We had an amazing time at the Fleek house!! It’s a wonderful property and was a home away from home. It’s in a great central location, and was very easy to navigate to and from. The property is so comfortable and we loved the furnishings. Highly recommend staying here!!

Fantastic home at a great location.
My family and I very much enjoyed this property. From start to finish everything went smoothly. The home was spotless and communication with the homeowners Alan and Sydney was great. While the home has many upgrades, it also still has the charm of a older property. Alan did a great job with the remodel of this home. We loved the location and can't wait to return again as some point.

Lovely historical home - with all the modern conveniences.
Fleek House is located in a charming, friendly neighborhood. It's perfectly located - convenient for all activities. It is spacious enough to easily accommodate three couples - with plenty of room for both group gatherings and private time. We're hoping for a return stay.

Favorite Stay in Alaska
We did a world wind tour of Alaska from Anchorage to Girdwood to Denali and ended in Juneau. The home is large and inviting. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. We had 7 people and everybody commented about the beautiful house and views. A large raven showed up every morning on the roof to make sure we were up and moving. As it is across the bridge from the docks, it was quiet and peaceful. The wooded walk to the old gold mine at the end of the road was very enjoyable and informative. We were sorry to leave and would definitely come back.

Fleek House!
Sydney and Alan were great hosts. The amenities provided in this home were spectacular and I never had to message or ask about additional amenities. The home was clean and had lots to do when not enjoying the beautiful city of Juneau and it's surrounding areas. I would love to come back next year to explore more!

Beautiful views from a great home base!
Fleek house was the perfect place for our group of 6! Sydney and Alan were so accommodating - they even put a twin bed in the loft room before we arrived which allowed my sister and nephew their own spaces to sleep.
We spent our evenings playing cards at the dining table and had plenty of room to spread out while reading, etc.
We also really appreciated the coffee, tea and snacks that were left for us.
We loved Juneau and all felt we could have spent a lot more time here than the 3 1/2 days we had.

Cozy wedding party basecamp
When we were initially looking at renting a house for our elopement, Sydney and Alan were more than helpful and gracious about hosting a crew of 8! Upon check-in, we found personalized details, and Sydney called to make sure that we had everything we needed. The house was beautiful and the kitchen very well appointed. This house was also located just up the street from a nice little bar/restaurant that specializes in wood fired pizza, yum! The Fleek House is only a 25 minute drive to the ski hill which was a huge bonus for us. Thank you so much Sydney and Alan for hosting us and making it feel just like home!

Family Reunion
I cannot say enough good things about how great our stay was! Everything was as advertised or better. Well appointed with everything we needed for a large group. We had 9 stay for 5 nights and every night and every morning we all congregated to watch for the cruise ships coming in. We as a family hope to return to visit the family on Juneau and have the Fleek house approval from all 5 of our kids ages 6-13!! That isn't always easy! The hosts responded virtually immediately to the one or two minor questions I had. Truly recommend a stay here you won't be disappointed! Thank you thank you thank you!

We were highly satisfied with all aspects of this accommodation.
Ate at the Island Pub three of the six evening. Just down the hill with friendly service and excellent food. Would love to return in winter for the fantastic scenery covered in snow.
