Its Maui's best kept secret. We've been coming here for 17 years. Maui Kaanapali Villas is quiet and with only a few residents (NO CROWDS). Also has best beach on the island!!!

The unit is very nice, great for 2 adults. The pullout bed is just fine. The larger property has 2 swimming pools and we found the one near us to be super warm and inviting, and almost unused! The nearby beach has great snorkeling, we saw several sea turtles. We saw whales from along the walkway; there's a great walkway running from Dukes to the north down to Whaler's village in the south with access to many restaurants and shops without driving. It doesn't have some of the amenities of the huge resorts nearby but it's also 1/3 the price. Have a great time, spend less money! If we return to Maui, we'll happily stay here again!

The condo itself was clean and had every accessory that you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Joe was so easy to work with and responded to me within minutes whenever I reached out to him. He even let us check in a little early on our arrival day! A+++

Everything at this condo was just as stated in the online description, delightfully, there will be no surprises when you stay here. All the extras like chairs, cooler and beach umbrella were great to have. We loved staying here, it was very quiet at the unit itself and just a 2 minute walk to the beach in front. We would love to return. Thanks for the great stay.

Property was nice and quiet, not too far from a fantastic beach. Great walking trail to multiple properties along the beach and walking distance to great restaurants. Dukes was amazing as was the closer castaway cafe. Condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen and beach items. Bed was super comfortable and the sheets were so nice I found the same brand to buy for at home. Joe was very prompt answering messages and checking in on us before and after our stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon to Maui. We were a bit skeptical about going since there was a huge fire there but it worked out. This place is amazing. Only steps from the beach, amazing space, amazing tv and my favorite part is the atmosphere of the whole condo. It’s like living in paradise. Will def be coming back next year

Joe's condo is in a great location -- close to two pools, snorkeling, shopping, and walking path. The condo is cozy and clean. We loved our stay and will be back!

Thank you Joe for the fantastic communication and hospitality. We had everything we needed (snorkels, cooler, umbrella) for our daily adventures and the room was so comfy. Maui Kanapaali Villas was the perfect place for a getaway with my sister. This place is a gem - we will definitely be returning again! You must try the banana bread French toast at Castaway Cafe and the free morning coffee is a welcomed treat!

The condo is AMAZING! This was our first trip to Maui and the location, cleanliness, layout, staff….everything exceeded our expectations! Met several other couples that only stay at this resort, too!
My husband took a nap on the beach cabana and that never happens lol

Enjoyed the location - used the trolly to explore the rest of Kannapali Beach, Whalers Village and a trip to the Hyatt Regency to attend our Grandson's wedding. Easy access to restaurants and not far from old Lahaina. The beach is beautiful - we saw turtles and whales! Need to mention the beach supplies! There are beach mats, an insulated lunch bag and small cooler for your outings. They also have beach chairs, boogie-boards, sand toys, noodles, beach umbrellas, and a hats along with assorted snorkeling gear. Very nice not to have to rent these items. The resort does charge an additional fee of $25 per day which covers parking, beach/pools towels and other resort amenities. Thank you Joe for your quick responses to our questions.

Great condo. Close to a lot of things in Kaanapali. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue I had was I checked in at noon an the clerk made it so my room key didn’t work until 4pm.

We were pleased with the more quiet setting of this property. We have stayed many times at MKV and found the listing an accurate reflection of this property site and communications with the property representative excellent. We would not hesitate to stay at this site again.

My husband and I along with our daughter stayed a few additional nights in Maui and this condo was perfect for the 3 of us. The host was so accommodating, he let us check in early and took great care to leave the condo stocked with beach chairs and umbrellas and little extras on top of that! Thank you Joe for being such a thoughtful owner and gracious host! We would love to come back and stay here again!

We love Maui Kaanapali Villas and this unit was very nice. Great position for quick access to the garden pool and we enjoyed the private ground floor outdoor patio for both breakfast and evening dinners.

This property is a perfect way to enjoy the island. It's homey, personal and relaxed, with a quiet beachfront.
We were delighted to see all the beach toys included in our condo. It really felt like a home away from home. Our host was very responsive and made us feel truly welcome.

We were able to check in early due to Joe’s personal assistance which we absolutely appreciated! The property was very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Beach access was essentially less than a block away which was perfect! We would absolutely book again with Joe!!

We have stayed in a variety of units at this property for the past 25 years. In fact, at one time our family were owners. It is an excellent location with a quiet beach and many amenities. This unit has a well equipped kitchen, nice beach chairs, and pretty garden view. The decor is in need of a refresh; however, it is well priced compared to other units at the resort.

We would give this trip an overall 4.6 out of 5! What a fantastic and affordable trip. The bed was awesome and I loved all the little touches. The aloe came in handy after I got a little to much sun. Joe provided a nice guide book that was so helpful. Maui is such a beautiful place to be! We were able to cook in a few times and that was nice. My only wish would be if it was closer to the ocean. It is a short walk but it's not a bad walk. Two nice pools and hot tub makes for some good relaxation. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

We felt at home with access to a stocked kitchenette and all the beach supplies you could need!!! Best of both worlds and definitely helped on a budget.

Great snorkeling right at airport beach, and we LOVED doing the beach walk up to Whalers Village where they had Joey’s Kitchen and lots of other food options at varying price points and great shopping. Less than a 25 minute walk with incredible views. We didn’t take advantage of the trolley as the walk was so nice - but saw it running pretty consistently!
We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Last day of our stay , a rodent in unit ran almost across my feet , but I know I’m in a tropical island so I screamed and got over it ! Lol still would come back !

The location, parking, complex and pool were superb. Highly recommended if those things are the most important to you.
Not so great - the shower was dirty, it's a little dated, not too many "extras" you would expect like hand soap, sanitizer. Also the neighbors were smoking weed indoors and was coming through the vents. Hopefully that isn't a common occurrence because maintainance wasn't able to help us.
