This place is absolutely amazing. It’s quaint and gives the laidback local feel. We have stayed many places in topsail, but this one takes the cake. The view is outstanding. The dock is perfect for fishing and docking a boat. We have a 225 Seahunt and had zero issues docking here. The house sits on the ICWW in a no wake zone so you don’t have to worry about waves causing your boat to rock into the dock. It’s also great because you can take your floats and lounge around in the water without being tossed around. I cant say enough great things about this place. I am always weary when reading reviews because everyone has their own opinion, but I can assure you that this is the perfect place to rent. Edna is a doll as well. She is incredibly responsive and looks out for you during your stay. She’s available all the time and gives great recommendations. By far the best host we have encountered. We can’t wait to stay here again. This will be our go to from now on. Thank you Edna for sharing this wonderful piece of paradise and being so great!

This is the perfect get-away. This is the best location on the entire island. It is truly a gem. We loved being able to fish off the pier and take the kayaks out to the sandbar in the sound (a dream come true for me), and to swim in the sound just steps from the cottage. The cottage is on a quiet street but within walking distance to the Gift Basket, Beach Shop and Grill, Putt Putt, Jolly Roger, etc. Edna is wonderful to work with - super nice and accommodating. Sweet, sweet time there!!! Very thankful!!!

I booked the property because my son was getting married and it was in close proximity to the venue. It was also dog friendly. It’s such a beautiful beach cottage. The host was friendly, accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. My only regret was if I wasn’t so busy with the wedding I could have enjoyed staying at the property more. But while I was there amazing deck views. We even saw dolphins. Totally recommend!

Topsail Time cottage is perfect in every way. I have left there feeling refreshed and looking very much forward to my next stay. The house is wonderful and everything you need is there. The views are amazing and morning coffee of the porch with dolphins, birds, and boat watching were so beautiful. Edna is so easy to reach should you have a need. Highly recommend her place!

Being on the sound was perfect for our family. We fished, jumped off the dock, watched the dolphins swim by and searched for shells all right in front of the house. Our 3 year old grandson loved digging in the sand on our own little beach. The beach house had all the accommodations we needed. Edna was immediately responsive when I called with questions. It is a lovely home to spend your vacation in a beautiful location

We enjoyed this cute gem of a house for Memorial Day. Being a short walk to the beach but on the intercoastal side, it was the best of both worlds. We enjoyed the kayaks and swings and the kids liked playing football on the lawn.

We've been coming to Topsail for years and this spot really checks all the boxes for us. We've grown to prefer the ICW side of the island over the ocean side, and this home had exactly what we were looking for. The wraparound deck is perfect for lounging with the pups and we loved how quiet it was, so many of the homes on the island are located on the main road, and you really feel removed from all of that while still walking distance from the beach, Beach Shop & Grill and the bookstore.

We enjoyed local seafood. We also surf fished at North Topsail. Edna was extremely welcoming and accommodating. This is our third stay here. We will come again.

From the moment we pulled up and saw the back yard on the water, with the dock and kayaks, we knew we were going to have a great time.
As soon as we checked in, we went down and caught about 20 good size spot fish and swam. The next day we took kayaks into the channel and caught several good sized Blue fish for dinner.
We stay on TI several times a year and always get a different place to experience new things. I am already figuring out when we can go back to Edna’s place. It was the perfect relaxing and refreshing oasis for our weekend.

We had an excellent time and would definitely rent again. Edna was great to work with and the house and community are really great. You can walk to shops and dinner and Edna made sure to let us know of local events. We felt like a part of the neighborhood for the weekend. The sunsets are amazing.

We enjoyed a very nice Thanksgiving Day. The other few days at the beach we’re great. Our little dog Madison was able to run unleashed and had a ball. Location, location, location. The beach cottage decor is fun, whimsical and very cozy. The perfect winter or summer get-a-way. Thank you!

Absolutely loved it! The house and location is everything as advertised. We stayed for a week and made a ton of memories. Caught (and ate) crab and fish off the back dock, kayaked in the sound and spent hours at the beach which is only a short walk away. There’s even parking near the beach entrance in case you don’t want to walk or have too much to carry. I wish we had spent more time visiting the local shops, but we had so much fun during the day, it was too easy to lay down, put on a movie and watch the sunset. My only suggestion would be to add some additional lighting inside near the kitchen and maybe on the back deck/pier for night fishing. We’ve been home for a week now, and we are still talking about our trip and all the fun we had. We will be back for sure!! The house also comes with some pretty cool neighbors. Thanks for the memories!!

This was our second year at Topsail Time and it was just as amazing as the first! The cottage is absolutely amazing. Clean, well stocked and has the most amazing water view. We took our 2 labs and they had a blast playing on the sand bar that popped up every morning, just a few hundred yards from the dock! It’s a short walk to the beach, and there are a handful of restaurants near by! We also love seeing Edna and Bailee every year! 10/10! You will not regret booking this cottage!!

This was our second visit to this adorable condo. Edna is so easy to work with. Super relaxing sitting on the deck swing facing the canal. Our two Golden Retrievers had a great time swimming off the dock - and Edna has everything so handy to manage the pups. Can't wait to come back.

This property is exactly as promised. Cute, cozy, and clean inside and out! The view from the living area is spectacular. The dock was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun in mid-May. The host, Edna, was friendly and ready to assist if needed. We were surprised to find no dishwasher, but that was our oversight in reviewing the listing. A dishwasher is not listed. Would be an added bonus, but we managed fine without. Weloved it so much, we hope to return next year.

Perfect location to walk to beach, playground and coffee/wine bar and restaurants. Beautiful views and sunsets and the kids love playing, kayaking and jumping in the intracoastal water. Love the views of birds and dolphins from the deck!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Sitting on the deck watching the sun sets was so peaceful. During the day we did the 3 block walk to the beach. Very convenient.We got takeout from a number of good results on Topsail.Would definitely recommend and return.

Easy booking and great communication prior to our visit. We had a lovely and relaxing stay in the whimsical cottage! The water view was wonderful (and definitely missed).Enjoyed fishing from the dock. We enjoyed pizza from Santino's- it was delicious; thanks for great recommendation! Eating dinner with the amazing sunset view cannot be beat! And we were able to get to the Turtle hospital due to cancellations! Recommend this tour while visiting. The beach is so nice and wide at Topsail, we had many peaceful walks enjoying the salt air. The easy and quick walk to the sweet little shops and mini golf/arcade area was definitely a highlight and a fun adventure. I can definitely see why people enjoy Topsail for a vacation spot. We made some fun and wonderful spring break memories as a family!

I can’t put into words how perfect this cottage was! Not only were the sound views amazing, but it was the perfect spot for our 2 labs to swim and play! It’s a quick walk to the beach, but there was plenty of parking at the public access just across the street. The cottage was set up perfectly for those who want to bring their dog along with them! We enjoyed meeting Edna and Bailee right next door. The check in check out process was a breeze! We can’t wait to return!

Lovely inside and out. Amazing dock for un and kayak launch. Close to beach owner super nice, loaned baby booster seat and other things . W will,pobablyngo bigger next yar, fmilyrowing but we love the sun. Hope to have a dig to share the fun. Super dog friendly place.
