Our entire family enjoyed themselves immensely in this gorgeous home, at the beautiful OBX beach town of Salvo! What a wonderful place to make memories! We were taken care of from the minute we pulled up to the second we left. Can't wait to come back!

Nice property which just a short walk to the beach. House in is excellent shape compared to other houses we've stayed in OBX. Pool is wonderful and stays a great temp during the day/night. Pool guy came every day to check on Pool. Note for larger groups with kids: there is only one shared space inside, (outside of the pool table room). Great value for a very well kept house.

Our extended family loved the house. Very clean and plenty of amenities. Pool was perfect size. Hit the beach every day.

The house was perfect for our family members coming from FL, MO, NC and NH. We had a wonderful, memory making week together! We loved that each bedroom (beds were comfy too!) had its own bathroom and then there was a community one upstairs near the kitchen. The stairs were a lot (as expected in the OBX! 😆) so having the elevator especially on move in/out day was essential. The pool was great and we loved that someone topped it off often with cooler water. The beach is a quick trip down the boardwalk and over the dunes. It is a lot of work though as the sand is hard to walk on (versus what we are used to here in NH!) and hot on the feet. I preferred the pool, while the "inland" folks from MO and NC liked the ocean. 😊 The house was remarkably clean for its size, but there were some areas that we noticed could use a little more attention (under the beds/corners had dust bunnies and the top floor master shower drain needed a scrub as well as the toilet seat/lid). Dishes and appliances were very clean. We LOVED the multiple dishwashers and refrigerators! The instructions sent out prior to arriving need updating though. There is not longer recycling and at checkout, the linens/towels go on the first floor near the door now. All in all, beautiful home for our vacation! Thank you for sharing it with us. ❤️

Cool weather the first week in June but the heated pool saved the day. Family had a great time. Cooking in the kitchen for a large group was easy with all the pots and pans. The house was very comfortable and made for a very relaxed week. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful house. The views of both the ocean and sound were awesome. A short walk to town and sound. The beach was close as well. Great place for our family to gather, eatz swim, and play pool. We would recommend this place to any group or family!

The house was a perfect fit for our children and grandchildren. Had a wonderful week in a house with plenty of room for our group of 17. When we arrived it was as clean and well appointed as any home we have rented over the years. We plan to rent it again.

The house and pool are beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of in door seating, and nice size bedrooms. The pool was clean with lots of areas to lounge by the pool. The place also had additional items for those with infants - pack-n-play, booster seats, etc.

We stayed with extended family, and found the house, hosts, and location to be excellent all around. The house was clean and well furnished. The elevator made move in/out much easier, and allowed our elderly family to join us for vacation. Be aware that there are a few steps to enter the main level. Location was fabulous with both sound and ocean views. The walk over the dunes is a little tricky for the small or elderly. It is well worth the cost of a pass to drive on the beach. If you don't have a 4x4 you can still access those beach areas south of the house by foot/boardwalk. There's also a lovely sound side beach only a mile away that provided hours of entertainment for the little ones. (No waves and like a huge wading pool.) The pool at the house was clean and so much fun for everyone - even in the rain. For pet owners, there is a kennel a few miles away that provided a vacation spot for our grand-dog. He was able to join us on the beach for the afternoon and then return to the kennel when we went back to the house. I have already recommended this home to several of my friends. Anyone who books here will be glad they did!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The layout of the house, the amenities, the location to the beach all enhanced our experience at this house. Loved size of bedrooms, attached bathrooms, and enough space for our group to find their own space when needed. Hopefully we can rent this place again in the future!

House was a perfect for our family reunion group. It had everything our we needed and the location just a short walk from the beach made it easy to enjoy daily.

We had a blast. There were 4 families with 7 kids 6 years and under. The house was well stocked with all kitchen needs and the dual dishwashers/cooktops worked well for cooking dinner for 17 people every night. There were also multiple pack-n-plays in the closet that we weren’t aware of that came in handy. It is a short walk to the beach (over two dunes at the end of the street) and it is also a short walk to the sound side where a day use beach was great for the younger kids to get time in the water. The private pool was excellent and had plenty of room for kids to play and adults to lay around and “relax.” The location was great and is the last neighborhood before about 12 miles of nothing to the south so the beach was wide open.

Pros: great location between sound & sea; +/- half-hour drive in either direction for stores, restaurants or attractions; water views visible from top floor; each bedroom had its own bathroom; decks on each level; awesome pool that can be heated depending on the winds; outdoor seating/including beach chairs; easy walk to beach for those able to walk it, pulling a cart is somewhat difficult, but doable; 3 refrigerators; elevator; nicely equipped kitchen; outdoor toilet/shower; quick responses from owners & property manager. Cons: towels were soured smelling & damp (totes containing linens for reservation following ours were left mid-week on one of our decks; heavy rain had rain water sitting on lids that were cracked. That's probably why our linens were damp. Linens should be delivered day of and not left outside in the elements). Would've liked more towels/washcloths. The dryer took 2-3 cycles to dry a normal load. A lot of time was spent doing laundry due to dryer issue. 11 adults, 4 children, 1 infant=a lot of laundry. Suggest bringing your own linens/towels for quantity and quality if you're not flying like we were. Property description shows tv in every bedroom. We had issues with cable working from day one. One bedroom TV had a Dish receiver but couldn't be connected as there was no co-axial cable in the room. Service Tech said there would have to be an install work order requested. I know you don't go to the beach to watch tv, but we had an 83 year old and a 70 year old with mobility issues that wanted their tv. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well-stocked. However, one oven was completely down & the other one locked up when we were trying to bake a casserole. Being near one of the beach driving ramps is one of the reasons we selected the location of our rental. We had planned to take the two with mobility issues to the beach that way. We found out week before our arrival that ramp is closed from May to October for seasonal bird nesting. We were not aware of this and not sure if it's every year or location changes from year to year. Check into that before selecting your rental. We were also told while there that you can't drive on beach in front of rentals even when ramp's open. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this property for a large family vacation.

I've been to OBX 8 times and I've never stayed in a better house. We had 18 people and never felt cramped. The views from the decks are amazing and the deck chairs are top notch. The pool was bigger than I thought it would be and the pool area was perfect. Some of the people with us preferred it over the beach. The beach was just a short walk, but if you are going over the dunes, don't take anything heavy or without big wheels... Trust me. And the sound is just across the street with a nice boardwalk to get you there to see perfect sunsets. We will never stay anywhere else.

Our group of 18 had a fabulous week enjoying the beach, the pool and the beauty of the outer banks. There are fabulous views from the house. We are looking forward to returning to the Outer Banks!

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing the large family meals that make these kinds of vacations so special! Lots of room, kitchen amenities were perfect for large-group meal prep, short walk to the beach, excellent experience! The owners have thought of everything you would need for a pleasant stay, and they were extremely responsive to every question we had leading up to the trip. Can't say enough good things.

Great Home..it suited us very well plenty of room for everyone. Had so much fun cooking for a big crowd in a gorgeous kitchen. We felt very comfortable. The whole experience in renting went very somthly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to vacation.

Our group of several families had an excellent week at this well-appointed home. The home was large enough for our group of 18 and we really enjoyed that each couple had their own private bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve. Double ovens, dishwashers, and coffee pots were appreciated. The starter supply of essentials (trash bags, toilet paper, etc) was an added bonus. We spent every day in the pool. The pool space is amazing- tons of chairs and the cabana area for really hot days. The beach can be accessed within the neighborhood by walking over the dunes or a long boardwalk. The beach was never overly crowded. The homeowners provided beach carts to help get things to the beach. Without them it would have been daunting, as the walk to the beach was much further than we expected. Overall, a wonderful stay.

South Beach Park exceeded all our expectations! A home away from home, this property was immaculate and had everything you could ever need! Plenty of room for a big family to enjoy the beach, the private swimming pool, book reading and the pool room at night! Each bedroom has an immaculate bathroom for plenty of privacty. The furnishings were showroom quality and very comfortable. The owners assisted with every request. One of a kind! We"ll be back next year!

If there is a perfect stop at the OBX to make memories, this it it! We never expected this home to be so beautiful and well-maintained. The furnishings were amazing. It was comfortable and plush. There is everything that you could possibly need in this home. It is very well-planned. And above all it is clean, clean, clean. The views are amazing. We love the pool and also enjoyed the jacuzzi at days end. The kids loved the flat screens and of course, the game room. The elevator was a dream. 'Wish that I was there right now!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful home! The decor is amazing and this spotless house has all the comforts of home! The pool was fantastic and the beach was a little bit of a walk, but not too bad! We had a very large family (max capacity) and it was perfect, very spacious! The pool table was a huge hit with our family! There is not too much to do in this area of the outer banks, so we did exactly what we set out to do... RELAX! This home was the perfect place to lounge and relax, especially on the awesome wrap around decks! Very kid friendly... high chair, pack-n-play, stroller were all provided! The elevator was a huge help with bringing heavy luggage and groceries up to the 3rd floor kitchen. We had the perfect vacation and would highly recommend this house!
