A group of women get together every spring to plan for a week long girl's camp that we are leaders for in July. There was plenty of room to work together and also plenty of space to divide into small groups to plan out activities, crafts and meals. The weather was beautiful for early March so about half of us went outside for a walk in the afternoon while a few stayed behind to relax and visit. Great facility. Very homey.

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend getaway. The kids loved it. It was a bit of a drive to the ski hills we visited, but worth it. We’d stay again!

This place was absolutely perfection!! The house and property was the cleanest place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. The appliances were top notch up to date & clean. I can’t say enough 😊

This is a beautiful home with lots of space to accommodate everyone. The fireplace set a cozy mood and the kitchen brought everyone together like a family. The huge yard can be used for all sorts of activities although it was unfortunate we couldn't make use of it due to all the rain during our stay. Also, the homeowners Leo and Katie were extremely welcoming and very responsive to ensure that our stay was comfortable and up to our expectations. Great people, wonderful house, a must see!

This was not our first stay. There's always something new or upgraded. The assortment of beds works well as our family grows and members change.

Great property. However I do think the check out list is a bit much. Firewood is there for you to purchase which was very convenient even tho we returned some at the end of our last night. Many beds to choose from. Heated floors in bathrooms any added features. Which made it a very nice stay.

What a beautiful place! Plenty of space and lots for the kids to stay busy. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. Only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the downstairs bedroom. We would definitely stay there again.

My extended family and I had an wonderful time at the Farmhouse. Upon entering, we were immediately impressed by the spacious and open layout. The open kitchen, dining room, and living room provided a perfect gathering space for our group of 19 people. The well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze, and the large dining table allowed us to enjoy our meals together. The garage, converted into a game room, entertained the tweens, teens and young adults with its pool table, air hockey, and foosball table. The picnic table in the garage provided additional seating for our meals. The extra refrigerator kept our beverages chilled. The fire pit and abundance of camp chairs allowed us to relax and bond over good conversation and s'mores. The basketball court provided fun and friendly competition for the teen boys. The two large washer/dryers made it easy to keep our clothes fresh throughout our stay. The home's central location allowed us to hike at both Mirror Lake State Park (25 miles away) and Devil's Lake State Park (39 miles away). Nearby Juneau County Castle Rock Park, just five miles from the house, offers a clean and expansive beach for $5 per car. For a local dining experience, we headed to The Way Station Saloon and Eatery a half mile from the house. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We recommend the Farmhouse for its comfortable accommodations and quiet surroundings.

The property was really beautiful. Has all the amenities for when you just want to relax with family and friends. We used the basketball court and the the propane grill. Beautiful fire pit out back which we used as well. I happened to have firewood in my trunk so that was perfect but the property does have firewood for a small fee. Provided all the pots and pans we needed for cooking and some spices that were stocked. If you plan on cooking and feeding a big group bring foil pans. No rodents on property and the only issue was all the flies which are unavoidable in the summer heat. Host was great and responded very quickly to an issue we encountered upon arrival. I would recommend this place and stay here again.

Everything was clean, beautiful and plenty of towels and washcloths! Perfect location for privacy and plenty to entire kids. Our kids loved the pool table, chalk board, foosball and air hockey. Lots of room so we played a game of ball outside and then we all played bag boards! It was perfect

Excellent excellent time

This home offered a grand place to call our own for a lovely family vacation. It's situated between Castle Rock Lake and the Dells- two destinations we wished to enjoy. Lots of little extras meant a lot for all family enjoyment. We had twelve in our group, ranging in age from 2-56, and all were comfortable.

We enjoyed our time at this rental property and thought it was so fantastic for us to hang out and relax together. We packed a lot into a short weekend, but getting to come back "home" to the Mauston property was really great home base for us all! The kids LOVED running around and playing basketball, utilized almost all of the outside toys and the garage was a hit with them as well! Loved having the use of the grill, we made multiple meals here and saved on eating out! The only negative thing was there was only one roll of paper towels and one roll of Toilet paper per bathroom, so we had to go out and buy more of both of those, but other than that the house was fully stocked for our needs!!! The plethora of towels was great for all the fam to use after being outside or at the pool all day and getting cleaned up without worry of running out of clean towels! Thanks so much for the amazing stay.

The weekend away was amazing, there were a lot of amenities like corn hole boards, a pool table, an amazing family room with tv that everyone played video games on. It’s a cozy house with a beautiful view in an amazing location with beautiful scenery and plenty of space for everyone and plenty to do! we would definitely visit again!

Great location in the country, plenty of room for the kids to play games and run around inside and outside. Well kept house. We had a group of 19, felt right at home.

Our 3rd time staying and there is nothing better! This home is set up perfectly and thoughtfully for large groups.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The house is very spacious and beautiful! We enjoyed spacious room for cooking and eating together, and played a few games that were available, plus brought our own. Easy to check in/out.

The farmhouse really felt like a home away from home.

Everything about this property was great. We really enjoyed it. The only downside is that it is a 25 minute drive to the Dells but besides that it was great.

Simple set up. Fair price. Tons of amenities on the property. Highly recommend. Also Red Ridge Ranch for horse riding is only 6 minutes away. Also a great place. House was literally amazing!

This was an amazing property, I really enjoyed that it was so close to many attractions by the Dells. Truly a hidden gem, I will love to come back again another time.

The Farmhouse is so charming and was a very special location for our family gathering. The thorough listings of all of the included amenities, especially the list of kitchen equipment was so helpful in our planning our meals for the weekend. Everything was so clean. It was very apparent that a great deal of time and attention has been put into the property to make for a comfortable stay. Katie was so responsive to questions. We had a small problem with one of the toilets when we arrived but the owners were very quick to respond and remedy the situation. These owners do a great job and we are looking forward to rent again. Thank you!

This property was very spacious and just right for my family. Everyone enjoyed the stay and was impressed with how clean, spacious and lots of things for the kids to play with. We love the garage!!! That is where we stay most of the time because of all the things to keep the kids entertained. I would highly recommend this to my families and friends.
