My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to cook a full meal if desired. Views from the balcony were gorgeous and boardwalk access to the beach was easily accessible. For just my husband and myself this was the perfect location.

We had an awesome stay and would highly recommend this host and condo. The beach was amazing and we look forward to future trips.

The condo was clean and exactly as described. Sarah was easy to contact and responded quickly. Being on the corner of the building gave us great views with lots of sun. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with our AM coffee or PM wine, watching and hearing the ocean. The beach was beautiful and having the chair/umbrella service was an added bonus. Okaloosa island is a quiet and peaceful area yet close enough to Destin and the rest of the gulf coast area to enjoy the amenities offered. I would highly recommend both the condo and the location and look forward to returning.

This was a top notch property that provided a quite stay and great accommodations while enjoying the ocean front view of the white sand and crystal clear waters of the emerald coast of Okaloosa Island. Property was very clean and provided everything needed. All we had to do was sit back, enjoy and relax. Could not have been any better. Highly recommend this property. We will be returning in the future.

There 4 nights, really a nice unit

We really enjoyed our stay at Island Sands. The place was just as described and had everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were very easy to work with and very accessible. I would highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a quieter area with a beautiful view.

The condo was as advertised. It was on the beach and had a wonderful ocean view. Short walk around the building to the beach. Parking was plentiful. It was clean and had everything we needed for a week on the beach. Restaurants and stores were conveniently located. We had a great time.

Condo has everything you need. The view from the living room is just what I needed. A short walk to the beach thru the cleanest white soft sand in Florida. Thanks

Okaloosa Island has become one of our new favorites! The condo was perfectly situated on the beach with absolutely perfect beach/sunset views! Such easy access even with 1 flight of stairs. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Plenty of linens in both baths and basic items in the kitchen.(love that)The space was really perfect for 2 people! Loved not having a lot of wasted space. The bed was a little squishy and too high for us..literally a little hard to climb onto. (we are 70 with some back issues so a warning there) Fort Walton is adorable.. groceries close by.. some good food.. It was a great week!!

Wife and I took a 4 day weekend in mid October. Found the condo clean, well equipped, and just as described in listing. Check in, check out and comminication were painless. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The condo is an end unit so both the extra light inside the condo and open side on the balcony give the space a nice feel. Free beach service was a nice feature. There are several good restaurants and fun bars within about 1.5 miles...convenient but unfortunatly just out of walking distance. The only downside was slow internet and cell service. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

Perfect location to enjoy the beach. Condo felt very homey, cozy and comfortable. Beach umbrella service included. Conveniently located to restaurants and Publix. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect location for our vacation. We had beautful view of the beach, and it was quiet. We enjoyed so much that we hope to go back next summer.

Great location. I like that it is a smaller condo. The view & balcony were amazing. Sarah is super informative & easy to work with. I like that I had everything I needed in advance! With some rentals in the past I have experienced a delay getting check in information. This was not the case with Sarah & I appreciate that!!

This little jewel was nothing short of amazing for me and my husband. Great view, location, and size for us! The food choices did not disappoint either. Definitely let my hair down and enjoyed this stress free oasis! This condo provided everything we needed from ice to beach chairs. Will be back soon! Thanks for sharing your happy place with us!

My husband and I took our 2nd (just the 2 of us) vacation this year at Ft Walton Beach!. We received a message from Sarah saying that check in was at 4 but if we arrived early we could feel free to hang out in the pool or at the beach which I thought was great! We received a text just a little while later saying that the condo was ready so we actually got to check in early! The condo was clean, and tidy. I was very pleased with every aspect. The view was awesome, the beach was super close and convenient to get to. Beach service was Johnny on the spot every morning and those young men setting up the chairs and umbrellas were so polite and respectful! We went out every morning and placed our beach towels on the set that we wanted and on days that we didn’t get right out there to occupy them our spot was never messed with. The atmosphere was peaceful and so serene especially in the mornings! The beach was never over crowded or uncomfortable in any way. Very kid friendly if you have youngin’s that you are trying to provide a nice safe kid friendly vacation for. Be SURE to get up early and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea (or Mt Dew) on the balcony and watch for sea life… we saw Manatee on Sunday and dolphins on a couple of the other days! We even saw dolphins mid day while we were out sunning! Huge thank you to Sarah and Linda for sharing your “Happy Place” with us!!!

Perfect condo for a getaway. Plenty to do on those rainy days when you cannot sit by the beach.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights over the 4th of July week. The condo is furnished with anything you could need…the kitchen is well stocked, bed was super comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, books to read….and it was very very clean! The views from the balcony were just gorgeous….nice table and chairs on the balcony which was a great place for meals! Beach setup was an added bonus! Can’t wait to come again!

I use VRBO a lot and its usually a nightmare but it is what it is. THIS HOST AND PLACE SET THE BAR. Exactly as described. Kind and responsive host. Ill he booking w her again!! I appreciate everything about this experience bc its rare. Thanks again, Kim

Pros: 1. Great location. 2. Cutely decorated. 3. Comfortable bed, couches. 4. A/c and hot water worked great. 5. Very short walk from your door to the beach setup which was included. 6. Owner was responsive with communication. 7. The view from both inside and the balcony are wonderful. 8. It was clean when we arrived. Cons: 1. Clothes dryer wouldn’t dry. Owner had appliance repairman come and they think it has to do with the condo complex’s venting system which the HOA is supposed to fix. The owners daughter who manages it, and seems very nice, brought us extra towels multiple times to accommodate with this. 2. Upon exiting the beach walkway there’s a hose to wash the sand off. However, you then walk around the back of the condo (thru sandy grass) to get to the unit. It’s a corner unit which makes it a really short walk but you’ll get some sand back on your feet/shoes (we used a pitcher of water outside the front door to wash it off). Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here but hopefully the dryer situation gets resolved soon.

Our stay was great as usual and the water was perfect the entire week. The unit was spotless as always and had everything we needed. Can’t wait until we come back next year. BM

Island Sands is a perfect place to stay in Ft Walton Beach. Our condo was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. This was our 4th time staying in these condos, and we will certainly return. Our host Sarah was top notch and made certain our visit was enjoyable!

This property is so clean, cozy and quiet. Right on the beach with a pretty view of the ocean! It was very well stocked with everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable! We can’t wait to stay again.

The place is very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable! And the kitchen looked well stocked for cooking. It was a bummer that the balcony was boarded, yes, I knew before I went. The weather wasn't the best and I ended up leaving a day earlier because I would have just sat in the condo with no view. I'm sure that I would have loved the condo if the sliding glass doors hadn't been boarded up.

Loved my time at the condo and the beach! Everything was neat and clean. Missed the view with balcony being closed due to construction but it didn’t impact me much. I’m very happy with my stay.
