We stayed with four families who each had small children, ranging from 10m to 4 y/o. The house was great, and felt large enough to hold everyone. The house was well equipped with baby gear- pack and plays, multiple high chairs, and toys. The couch and multiple tables both inside and in the backyard allowed a space for everyone to sit. It was a short walk to the beach and the pool and backyard were perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

Some electrical problems that should have been taken care of before next tenet: Lift, 2nd floor electrical, all and all very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Linda Sue! The house is fully equipped with most everything you need including lots of beach chairs and sand toys! Also has pack and plays and high chairs for the little ones..oh and the backyard is delightful! the owners are very quick to respond and address any questions or concerns..they were great to work with! Thanks for the delightful time!

The home was great, great location, great stet up. We were a bit confused on the operation of the elevator. There is no Murphy bed or day bed, just sofa couch on top floor. Bring extra towels, also know that pool guy does come unannounced. Other than that we had a blast and would rent there again

Great house close to the beach that 3 families with young children really enjoyed. Would definitely stay again. The huge backyard area is a rarity in the OBX.

The house was all it said it was and more. The location was perfect. Close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Our group was extremely happy with this property and looking forward to staying here again.

We were so happy with the turn out of this property. The pictures listed don’t do it justice. Loved all the decorations through out. Loved that all the media items were up to date with smart TV’s. Appliances could be updated but overall they all worked well for our nights of cooking in the house etc. loved the pool & hot tub. The pool water even felt warm. Tim was great on answering right back through the app. Unfortunately the lift was not working at this time. The backyard was nice and spacious and had a lot to enjoy. Walk to the beach is not bad and if you don’t feel like walking there’s parking that is free right at the beach entrance. Great location overall close to a lot of things. Can’t wait to book again another year!

Well stocked; great location; clean; perfect for families; had everything you would need for a great vacation

Each year my two sister in laws, mother in law, and our children take a family vacation. This home was very accommodating for our family. We enjoyed many days in the pool and a couple days at the beach in walking distance. We made many memories in Nags Head and in this home. I highly recommend this home to those families looking for relaxing and safe environment. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a great stay -- the open floor plan and comfortable seating allowed us to have a lot of quality family time together. The walk to the beach was very do-able. We chose to rent a golf cart for part of the stay and we were always able to find a parking spot at the closest beach access. We arrived early on our check-in day, and as the cleaning crew was finished Tim was nice enough to let us in early. We loved the pool area -- the grass in the back yard was very overgrown (like knee-high), so we didn't use that extended yard space (we were also closer to the road and didn't love the road noise). All in all we had a great stay.

All good as expected except lift listed didn’t work. High un-mowed grass created mesquites. Otherwise all other notifications were addressed timely.

Could not get in touch with property manager until an hour and a half after I was supposed to be allowed in. I arrived promptly at 4pm check in time. I checked the app and the VRBO access to the property said it was not available and for me to contact property manager. I called the property manager a few times with no answer. I then called VRBO and they also said I had not been given access to the home. The VRBO representative put me on hold and they attempted to call the property manager and also email them with no response. VRBO offered us hotels for the night for free for the duration of our stay yet this was not what we wanted for our group. I choose to wait it out a little and I got a call from the property manager 90 minutes later. She insisted I was at the wrong house and that their rental was not listed on VRBO. I told her I know for a fact I rented it through VRBO. She went on to also question my age if I was old enough to rent the house? I am 44 years of age it was insulting. Other than the check in mishaps the house is nice. I would never go there again though after dealing with the property owner....

Close to the beach, house true to the description, perfect back yard

This is the second time staying here. We love this property. The backyard is fantastic. They have done some updates to furniture and the rooms since our last visit and it’s great. Really nice short walk to the beach.

The house has plenty of space for multiple families. The little outside freight elevator always make unpacking and packing so much easier. Location of property is a walk aways from public beach access and public parks. Shopping, dining and groceries are minutes away. This is our 2nd time here and we've been pleased each time.

We had a wonderful stay here! Our kids spent endless hours in the pool and the beach is very walkable. The house was clean and the communication was on point. Would recommend!

Loved the property for our family beach week. The property was clean and fairly well kept. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach, which was not bad at all. The bedroom descriptions include a murphy bed, but I think that is now a pull-out queen sleeper sofa on the third floor. My son slept there and did not think it was very comfortable, and just slept on the sofa. We had some problems with the washing machine not providing hot water, but that was not too big a deal. The owners were made aware of the problem and actually sent a handyman out to look at it. All in all, it was a great property for a family beach week, and would definitely recommend it.

This was so nice for a vacation with our friends and kids. We all had our own space and a great common area to hang out in! The pool was such a nice temp and we utilized the entire outdoor space so much. Tim was so friendly and very approachable, he dealt with issues right away!

Our family had a wonderful time at this house. The backyard amenities are amazing. The beach is short walk and so are some local restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone was very nice. The only recommendation I would have is to have someone look into the beds. The frames in some of the rooms were noisy so when you moved around it was kind of loud. Other then that no complaints. The kitchen was stocked with almost everything you could want. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The family and I had great time at this property. It was in a great community with very easy access to the beach. Definitely will stay again if we have the chance.

They owners really had families in mind. The had everything you could need and want, from the pool and hot tub, to beach cart with chairs and boogie boards. Plenty of dinning and sleep space for a large family. The yard is beautiful. Very clean and highly recommended.

Our experience staying in this property was one of the best I’ve ever had with a property rental. The owners made the check in process simple and we were instantly blown away! You can tell the owners take such good care of this property - the furniture is all quality, the beds comfortable, and truly you have everything you could possibly need in this home. They thought of everything. We had access to tons of beach equipment, spices and oils for baking, kids seating (including a high chair for my infant), tons of books for the kids, children plates and cups, two coffee pots….I could go on and on. The property itself was perfectly clean, the A/C worked great on every level, and is in a fantastic location. The beach was a 10 min walk through a lovely beachy neighborhood and even on the days we drove we never fought for parking in the morning. Grocery stores are found less than 5 min away as well as loads of restaurants and Jockey’s Ridge. To the owners: your place helped us make memories of a lifetime as we celebrated a milestone anniversary and birthday. Thanks for going above and beyond with the little things!

We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful OBX property. When you walk in you immediately feel at home. The main living area was spacious and cozy, but the backyard was absolutely our favorite! Everything from the swings, fire pit, hot tub and pool. This space was so well done and helped us create so many unforgettable memories.

Facility was great for our family of 14. The walk to the beach was a little farther than we expected but it was still ok. The pool was a hit with the kids especially, although (sand in the bottom) had not been vacuumed when we arrived and service was not done as requested until after we left. The king sized bed was not on the top floor as listed. Hot tub was ok but the controls need some help as well as the access into the hot tub area was a bit of a safety hazard. The air conditioning worked great and the house was beautiful. The back yard grass is not as well maintained as the photos. The lift to the upper rooms did not work and when it was reported, they said parts were on order. Host should have made this known ahead of time. Had to contact the host one time by phone and was not treated very warmly like I would expect for a customer. Overall we had a great vacation but there are some opportunities for improvement in a few areas.

We spent some very pleasant days enjoying the beautiful backyard with everything you need for all ages. The beach is just a couple of minutes away.
