Had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and it was nice to be able to bring the dogs along.

Great location, view and property for us.

Property is very cute and clean. The kitchen had everything needed plus some. Tons of spices for any kind of cooking you may want to do. The shower is large which was a hit with the guys. Large yard. The bottom firepit area is large and shaded which was great for the hot days we had while we re there. The owner was easy to communicate with. And always responded quickly. We would recommend to anyone and we would stay here again. One of the biggest plusses is we could bring our dogs.There were dog treats in the cabinet too.

This place was very cute with lots of space and rooms for several guest. They had lots of brochures for the area attractions and family games as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Checkin in was easy and it was a great little quiet spot to stay.

From the time I spoke to Adam hes was very friendly answerd all my questions I had another place booked but after speaking with them I changed my other reservation and went on there's from the time I walked through the doors I knew I had made the right move it was exactly what I had thought about a cabin should be like and they had just about everything there it was great all10s in my book thanks and I will definitely book again

Location proximity to lake access, nice large back yard. Comfortable 3 day stay.

We relished the mountaintop location, despite bad weather, and the setting was genuinely lovely. The house has loads of vintage charm and character. Well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of serving utensils and dishes. Guest-friendly touches in the bathrooms, like soaps and shampoo, were very special. We ended up spending most of our time at a local college event. Still, we would not have hesitated to kick back at the house, weather permitting, to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, overlook sitting area, cookout deck and table, and basement card table. WiFi was solid and strong. Our elderly pup felt at home and took lots of power walks around the huge backyard. Two side notes, depending on your travel companions: Inside steps to the basement level would be fine for most, but older folks/dogs and/or little ones, might find them a tad steep. Also, if guests are extra tall, the ceilings are low in some places. Overall, hosts were very thoughtful about the details and we would definitely consider staying at the mountaintop home again! We Had A Great Long Weekend At The Camp! Close To The Lake n Stores/Restaurants. Adam Is A Great Host!!!

To say the property owners thought Of everything is an understatement! The fresh veggie’s available to house guests and the coy pond out front were just a few of the extra touches these property owners had. The spice cupboard was full of spices and the fridge was full of condiments. There was no having tor in to the store bc you forgot something bc they had it all right here. My kids loved the games on the game shelf as well as the coloring supplies. We will definitely be looking to stay at this Property again in the future!

Great experience staying here. Adam was phenomenal to work with. We were minutes from seven points marina and on the water in no time. House was clean and as described. Looking forward to doing it again next year

Great getaway, loved the place and location!

Large yard, plenty of firewood, fully stocked kitchen. If you are there to use the lake you have 2 options for a public boat launch. Sevens Point or Synders Run, both about a 10 minute ride away.

Our experience was great and will be back again.

We enjoyed our stay at this home, it was very clean and is apparent that the owner is very meticulous about the property. It is a small house, rooms are small but everything is in good working order and the location is convenient to the lake. We also enjoyed all of the decorations in the house from taxidermy to funky old signage. Good places to stay can be hard to find near Raystown lake so this is one we'd go back to. If there's one thing I could say needs improvement is the bed mattresses could use a "refresh" per my wife.

If you need a break from reality to rewind and find yourself this is the place to go! From the beginning Adam has been there for any questions we had concerning his rental! This place was stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, toilet paper, paper towels and all that jazz so the only thing you need is yourself, clothes, food and your bed linens( pretty sure they have some there but I liked that you could bring your own). We loved the view from the side overlook and enjoyed making marshmallows in the fire pit closer to the house! Dog cages are in the basement and are plenty big enough to bring your fur babies if you wish! My family will definitely be back in the future as this was an amazing place to stay!

House was as pictured online. It was clean. There was plenty of yard and the view from the bench overlooking the valley, was beautiful. Adam was easy to work with and provided nice recommendations for hiking. Thanks!

We were looking for a small get away that was private. This place was perfect. There is ample hiking in the area, which is what we wanted to do. The view from the side yard was fantastic! We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay...place was extremely clean and just as described.

Amazing place, and it had a great kitchen! Had some amazing views outside, and was very peaceful. Only down sides were that it was very close to a road with fast moving cars (I’d be a bit nervous about leaving young kids outside alone), and the bedrooms were even smaller than they look in the pictures.

Very affordable and accomodating

Property was a great location to spend time at seven points. Had beautiful sunsets. Could use some updates which the owner stated he’s already planning to do. The owner was quick to respond to any concerns/ issues we had. Thank you !

We had a slightly rough start to the beginning of our stay, but the owners were very easy to work with and made up for that. Otherwise we loved the place. It is more spacious than it appears. Loved the fire pit area. We spent alot of time there. Also, loved that it is a short ride over to the marina. Would have rated it excellent had it not been for the little hiccup in the beginning.

Wonderful place with all of the necessities you will ever need for a vacation... I surely over packed and they had a great set up here... even had all the condiments in the fridge!!! I'd say the only down fall was the mattress were a bit lumpy....LOL But we had a nice time and it has a wonderful view of the valley below and an awesome fire pit in the back yard!

Nice place. Fire pit is a hike. A nice surprise that there was plenty of wood in dry storage.

It was our first time renting thru VRBO and had a great experience

I had to contact Adam the day we arrived at the property as he never returned my e-mails or phone calls, so we could get into the property. When I talked to him he said he didn't get over to clean after the other occupants had left. The place was dirty inside and out. The floors were not swept, dishes were left in drainer in sink and dish washer. We had to fix our own beds. The oven was such a mess that every time we used it the fire alarm went off. My one sister tried to clean it one day but it is really a mess. We could not use the picnic area as it was really filthy. there were cob webs going down the basement where we had to go shower and in the bathroom. Bathroom was not clean. The front porch was not swept off and the storm door has no handle on it and is in bad shape. The back porch is a mess also. We used the grill once as only the center burner would work. We used the dish washer once and it made all kinds of noises and ran for 2 hours so we just shut it off. We stripped the best as requested upon leaving and did some sweeping in the house and made sure all the trash was taken care of before we left. My sisters and I feel we should get a partial refund because of the shape this house was in. I don't know if you handle this or not but we were very unsatisfied with this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Never had such a disappointing place to stay in the 17 years we have been doing this. Pat Chernicky
