The house was well situated on Keuka Lake and the kitchen was beautiful and well-stocked. There was plenty of room for all of us.

This property is beautiful ,very cute and charming and Very clean also well maintained! Warren was very friendly and accommodating! The location on the lake as well as the location to activities is perfect! Hope our family can all get together again next year all come back! Thanks for a great stay!

This past month my siblings and I treated our parents to a week of family togetherness reliving memories of Willow Grove and Keuka Lake. Upon our return home I received a card that read in part "Last week at the lake was even more wonderful than I had imagined through the year. What a blessing Elmwood was and is. Such a peaceful, beautiful place on Keuka." Kathy & Warren have thought of everything, and most things twice. Bring your toothbrush and a bag of groceries - nearly everything else is provided.

Everything was so clean and organized. The location was perfect. The people were very nice. They had a paddle boat that was so much fun for everyone to use. In the back of the house, there was a screened-in porch that was amazing to be in at all times of the day. The only problem was the full-size beds should be queens, but they make that clear. If there were queen-size beds, the place would be 5 stars for me. You cannot beat their kitchen and gathering areas. Fantastic for family to enjoy time together.

The owner and brother recently redid major portions of this home. The kitchen is the jewel of the remodel. I can't confirm this, but I believe Warren's wife Cathy was likely responsible for many of the touches of the kitchen. It is bright, full of brand new appliances (June 2022) and exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen windows look out over the creek, woods, and lake all at once. It is a great space to be in. The downstairs bathroom is a testament to space efficiency with washer / dryer full shower, commode, and sink and some storage all in this small space, but not so small as to not be able to move around comfortably. All brand new as of June 2022 when we stayed. Or at least it appeared so. The house has some new fangled sonic pest controller in several rooms around the house and outside on the porch. I saw some small spiders once or twice during our week, but overall no pests to be seen or heard. The bedrooms are comfortable and warm to walk into. Again, they really have taken advantage of every ounce of space, and as my title indicates if you want secrets you better whisper in someone's ear otherwise you will be heard. I love the cottage feeling so it was no bother to me or my family. Two docks, and wonderful grounds to walk through. There is a lot of space for a rental property on a finger lake. Our weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked, but we still enjoyed our stay. The small little area of houses where this is located is idyllic. Everyone maintains their property and they are so neat and tidy. It is a beautiful spot to stay. Penn Yan has everything you might need or want during your stay and is about 4 or 5 minutes up the road. I can keep going on, but no one is going to want to keep reading so I'll wind up by saying that I highly recommend this property and their owners.

Kathy and Warren are wonderful hosts. Loved every minute. The extensive first floor renovations are beautiful. We are looking forward to returning.

Beautiful property with large side yard two docks screened porch four bedrooms two full baths clean and nicely furnished. Brand new kitchen and appliances. Just bring your food and a pillow everything else is there!

We love the cottagey atmosphere of the Elmwood and were pleasantly surprised by the upgrades to the kitchen and downstairs bathroom and living room. I would say the kitchen now has a modern farmhouse look. Definitely would go back for a fourth visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a week of bass fishing. Good dockage for two bass boats. The cottage is a blend of new and old. The well equiped kitchen and downstairs are newly remodeled. The upstairs is original 1800's and is remarkable. We hope to rent in the future as well. Kathy and Warren are excellent hosts.

We were a family of 5 women all over 50 with multiple health issues. This was actually the reason for the get away- it was a chance for us to get some time time away and relax. I made the owner away we had someone recovering from open heart surgery, rotator cuff surgery, and some one had rheumatoid arthritis.Unfortunately, one of the bathrooms is actually outside of the house. The other is upstairs and you need to climb stairs that have a rope for you to hold on to for security. This was in no way practical for our party. It was not mentioned at all in the house description either, as I would not have booked it.Other than than that, and a few other minor issues, it is a great location, beautiful views, and a nice cottage feel. It may be better suited however for younger people as it doesn’t have air conditioning either. It is clean and neat which was very important.

Super clean, well cared for, and beautiful outdoor space. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends and family!

Elmwood is a very nicely kept cottage. Very comfortable and the location is one of the best I have ever had. The owners are extremely friendly and made sure we didn't need anything upon check-in. The docks are in good shape and we had a pontoon boat tied up there all week with no issues. The wineries are right down the street. I would rent this place again if it was available.

We have been staying at Elmwood cottage for several years now and it is a trip we look forward to each and every year!! The cottage is immaculate and while it is vintage in character it is upgraded with everything you need for the perfect stay! Warren and Kathy are the perfect hosts!!

Property was clean and the side yard was very spacious. We spent most of our time outside in the shade, boating and sitting by the fire near the water each night. It was a great week!

Our Stay was wonderful at this beautiful cottage. It was neat, clean and well decorated along with having all the comforts of home. The lake views and huge yard made us not want to go inside at the end of the day. The screened in porch was the best place to start and end your day, so peaceful and relaxing. This is a really lovely cottage in an incredible location! Flat property - no stairs to the cottage or to the water, with a huge, shaded side yard that was perfect for picnics and hanging out. Large expanse of waterfront, with plenty of shallow water for littler kids but deep enough at the end of the dock to jump off, which is great if you don't want to have to put on water shoes! Water is clear and warm, great for swimming. Cove on other side of creek is a great place to paddle without having to worry about motorboats etc. Very private - only close with the neighbors on one side, and the other side has a creek (fun for kids to explore) with a house set well back on the other side. The property is SO CLEAN and really nicely decorated, with everything you could need. Kitchen is very well stocked - we had seven family members, teens and adults, and ate all of our meals there, no problems. Grill worked fine. Owners were very responsive and kind whenever we needed assistance. We rented kayaks and a paddleboard from Shoreline Rentals, and they were great to work with - totally easy - they drop off and pick up for you. Paddle boat is provided with the property, which we also enjoyed. The screened in porch is wonderful - gets the breeze off the lake, has a ceiling fan, shades to keep out the evening sun, and was where we gathered each morning for coffee and each evening for cards and games. We also spent a lot of time on the chairs out on the dock, catching the breeze and watching the water. Just beautiful! No air conditioning (unless you bring a window unit, which can be placed in either of two bedrooms or downstairs), but we were fine most of the week despite 90+ degree days due to the lake breezes, staying outside in the shade, and using the lake to cool off. We did have one really uncomfortable night, thought, so if the forecast is hot, I do recommend you bring 1-2 window AC units with you. We loved our stay here - it's the perfect lake cottage. Will definitely come again!

This terrific property was all that it said it was, and perfect for our 8-family-member celebration of a BIG anniversary. The location on Keuka Lake is wonderful, with nice views and privacy... also good fishing off the point. Being within easy "striking distance" of Penn Yan was great; also, there are so many neat things to do within 45 minutes. The house was charming! There's something to be said for history. Lastly, our host was very welcoming and personable. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kathy was an amazing host. The house was adorable and spotless. It situated right on the water with bonfires a stones throw from the water. With this crazy time, we needed a get away. This was perfect!! Thank you for a great time.

We loved this place so much that we extended our stay for an extra day. The place was perfect and recently painted. It was well cared for and the linens and towels and little extras provided were great!! The owners are fabulous! Thanks for a much needed getaway!!!

Pristine cottage from 1880’s with original charm lost by so many cottages today. Incredible beach complete with Adirondack chairs for the campfire-great week even with a day of rain. Two full baths with fluffy towels, cozy quilts on the beds, charming details thru out! The screened in porch was a perfect gathering place any time of the day. Had a great week

This is our second stay at Elmwood. and we’ve already reserved the Elmwood for 2020. A beautiful home on the east side of Keuka Lake. The weather was great and we had beautiful sunsets and evening camp fires. The yard has a flat approach to the lake with a wide lake front. The home has a very nice screened in porch, a full kitchen and dining room. The bedrooms are really nice with comfortable beds. Check in and check out were very easy. Kathleen and her husband are fantastic. The Elmwood is very close to wineries and Penn Yan. We’re looking forward to next year’s stay at Elmwood.

This is the 5th year we have stayed here and all I can say is the place is wonderful! The yard is large and flat and the beach is wonderful. The cottage is exactly that a cottage.... floors creak but the place is clean and well maintained and Warren and Kathy are wonderful hosts.

Elmwood Cottage is a little bit of heaven on Keuka Lake. A beautiful cottage with everything needed for the perfect stay! A perfect cottage for a family get away! Kathleen and Warren are great hosts and make sure you have everything you need for your stay!

For starters Warren and Kathleen gave us a very warm welcome! The location is fantastic, couldn't imagine finding anywhere better. Even though it is located in a highly populated area this place is very private! We had 10 adults and space/sleeping accomodations were not an issue whatsoever! The screened-in porch was a favorite spot by many in the evening until the bonfires on the beach were lit. The beach frontage was awesome along with the two docks that seen lots of use. The shady lawn with beautiful very large trees made for some fun yard games for all. The kitchen was well furnished with everything needed to prepare all meals we cooked. The bathrooms were well stocked with linens for all. Several people caught nice fish right off the docks. We all enjoyed swimming as well! Thanks Warren and Kathleen for a great experience! We highly recommend others to enjoy this wonderful place.

Cute house with a beautiful outdoor area with lots of room to play around. The view is amazing, beach area and water is a perfect place to relax!

The cottage is very old-school Keuka- plenty of rustic charm but no insulation on a chilly fall weekend. Nevertheless, the lot is spectacular- grassy area for the grandkids to play, tons of level beach, the best view on the lake, and good fishing too! The owners Kathleen and Warren could not have been sweeter.

We were in town for my father's funeral service and were able to book this house on short notice so we could all stay together. The house was beautiful inside and out. There was plenty of space for the family and we thoroughly enjoyed have a fire at the end of each day to relax after enduring such a sad time. The view of the lake is gorgeous. We are hoping to book this property again for a vacation!! The owners are very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property for larger families.
