We enjoyed our stay very much! Theo was great to communicate with and provided assistance in booking tours. The staff at the villa were wonderful, we hardly knew they were there. Mariana and Nancy prepared delicious meals for us! The property itself is wonderful and immaculate! The pool was perfect for all our kids. Each family having there own villa was great. We could be together but privacy at the same time! We highly recommend this property!

The villas are really beautiful with enough room for everyone to be comfortable. You can easily walk to the beach or in town. The staff was great and the food was really good. Theo was very responsive and great helping with arrangements. The property was very lush and well maintained, would definitely return.

What a gem! Upon our arrival at Villas Pelicanos, I became the booking hero of our family. From the pictures, we knew it was going to be amazing, but in person, this place blew our minds. Even the moody tween in the group used words like, "stunning" and "breathtaking". The true heroes that leveled up our vacation were the staff, from the initial correspondence with Theo during the planning stages to the amazing support staff on-site during our stay. If you're reading reviews and debating whether you should book this place, stop, just book it, and be the next booking hero.

Beautiful location in a unique area of Mexico. We enjoyed the privacy of the beautiful property and the fun atmosphere of downtown Sayulita! The staff is amazing. they were able to help us arrange multiple events and prepared delicious authentic Mexican meals. We had a wonderful time

This was the perfect location for our 4 families (including grandparents and kids 10, 9, 8, 8, 7 and 6) to stay for a week. The beach at the house was our favorite beach, we paddled, snorkeled and floated. Playa Muertos was also a great all ages location and super convenient. The rooms, the views, the pool were amazing. We had meals prepared by Mariana and Nancy every night. Our breakfast and dinners were all delicious, and they were so accommodating of our dietary needs and our desired service time. It was so convenient and good that we didn’t eat out. Yoga with Nara was wonderful as well. Theo, Javier, Mariana, Nancy and all were great caretakers. Mosquito repellent was a must. We highly recommend!

Villa Pelicanos was perfect for the 20 of us, from a 9-month old infant to the 72 year old grandparents and all those in between. The place is immaculate, had everything we could have wanted or needed, and was staffed by wonderful, friendly folks who were always helpful. Mariana’s cooking was heavenly: we thought we would have her cook every other night but it was so delightful having her and Nancy cook for us that we had them do it every night. Guacamole from heaven! Enchiladas Suissas, Chili Rellenos, tacos, each night we dined like Mexican royalty, and they left a spotless kitchen for our nightly game time. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vacation. Communication was always quick and easy, and Sayulita is such a lovely place, with beautiful beaches and a welcoming town, that you’d have to be a terrible Scrooge to be anything other than pleased to be there.

Everything was perfect, beautiful home, Amazing staff beautiful home stunning views it’s truly a magical place. Nothing to say other than we were so well taken care of and everything was super organized!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was such a great way to spend quality time with our extended family. It has a great combination of space that can be used as a whole group and individually. The fact that there are individual houses makes it great for those opportunities where you need to wind down or have different bedtimes. The staff on the property was absolutely marvelous and so personable. I highly recommend leveraging the staff for cooking needs to balance the opportunity of eating in and eating out in town. Cannot say enough about how special this week was for us at this property.

We could not have been more satisfied with our stay. The property is so gorgeous and well maintained. The manager and all other staff there were so helpful and friendly. We are just dying to go back.

Amazing villa. Perfect set up with the ability to have separate rooms for groups of people but then a large common area for socialising, meals and plenty of room for kids to play. Great pool with the most amazing view!

Every corner you turn you'll be in awe. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and the service from the house was wonderful and accommodating as well. Will be back!

An amazing property with beautiful views. Rooms are clustered in a way to give some privacy and space from the larger group. The staff was amazing to work with. Mariana and Jessica were wonderful to work with around planning our meals for 16 people including many kids. We had a great stay. There were enough stairs to keep you in shape while eating the wonderful food. You could hear the sounds of the bigger town especially at night but at a distance. I would highly recommend this property for family retreats or other gatherings.

Hands down one of the best trips ever! We had 15 adults in our group. Everyone was ready to book for the next year as we were leaving. Theo who manages the reservation is amazing. He was on top of everything and is an incredible communicator. Literally there was not one hiccup the entire trip. He managed all airport transfers, taxis to golf courses, sunset cruises, spear fishing, etc. We had a birthday to celebrate while there and Theo set up a tequila tasting at the Villa which was fantastic and I highly recommend doing and we also hired a private chef that did an amazing job. Thank you Theo for being so good at your job!!! We did hire Mariana and Nancy to cook our meals daily and it was a treat. The are lovely and did a great job. Last but not least, I highly recommend renting golf carts for your stay. The carts are delivered to the Villa and we really enjoyed using them going into town. The owner, Gaston is lovely. Rent them, you will be so thankful you did. Thank you Villa Pelicanos owners, managers, cooks and caretakers. You have a very special place and take such good care of the accommodations and grounds. Thank you for sharing it with others.Your hospitality was wonderful. We will be back!

So grateful to have experienced Villa Pelicanos once again. This property is such a serene escape from it all, tucked away where the jungle meets the ocean. A week filled with rest, yoga, ocean breezes and the surreal beauty of the Villa. High design, elevated service from property manager Teo, magnificent meals from Marianna and her team, the hospitality of Javier, and the awe inspiring beauty of the grounds that Jose and Jose present with their land caretaking. We felt so grateful to have experienced the magic once again of Sayulita in this very special place. Until next time.....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The combination of villas spread out over the property with a great central location with a pool and gathering space made our family gathering truly memorable. The location is a walk or even shorter golf cart ride into town. The combination of being away from the very busy time of year in town but also having easy access to surfing & shopping was ideal. The house cooks were incredible. Marianna and Nicole were amazing & topped our hired chef hands down. The afternoons were filled with pool time and keeping an eye out for humpback whales and their baby calves.

We had the MOST amazing time at Villa Pelicanos. It is stunningly beautiful in a way the pictures can’t capture. Every villa was beautiful and had incredible views. The young kids in our group had a great time too. Mariana, Javier and Theo were all amazing and went above and beyond. The food was so delicious and it was great having someone prepare meals for us, so big thank you to Mariana and Nancy for that. We can’t recommend this place enough!

I really don't want anyone else to discover this place. It was so special. There is literally nothing i didn't like about this wonderful place. Except that the sea was too rough to SUP every day. LOL. So much was wonderful. A very special place

This is a truly exceptional property. It’s hard to fully express how amazing it is. Even the walkways between the villas are exceptionally landscaped, bursting with flowers and tropical vegetation, and very well maintained. The views from all of the rooms are amazing. The pool area and dining / living palapas are amazing. The staff, Mariana (cook) and Theo (concierge) are amazing. The location above the Playa de Los Muertos and cemetery is amazing. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and resorts around the world and this is the best I’ve ever stayed in.

Absolutely stunning & awe-inspiring property! This property was even better than the awesome photos showed in the listing! Completely well orchestrated! Both onsite management & off site management were so great to work with! Owners were very helpful throughout the process. Absolutely epic property where you dont need to go anywhere but just stay onsite its so wonderful! Rooms are well appointed, beautifully furnished. The whole property is incredibly well cared for. Definitiely a "10" --we had a GREAT Time!

Absolutely gorgeous property. Theo was extremely helpful planning our trip and taking care of reservations and last-minute changes. Marianna and Nancy cooked breakfast and several dinners for us; the food was delicious. They are sweet and very accommodating. We felt like we were on our own private resort! We were warned of the heat in July. Texas heat is nothing in comparison. Mosquitoes too. Consider a cooler time.

What a perfect place for a large family vacation. The large property gave everyone the ability to be together or have their own quiet time. The views from anywhere on the property were breathtaking;most of the family hung out around the infinity pool who’s view couldn’t be beat. The icing on the cake for a perfect vacation was having Mariana and Nancy cook for our group every day. They worked so hard at making their regional specialties for 14 of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. We felt incredibly spoiled! A must have - Golf Carts! They were delivered to the house and then picked up on the day we checked out. Fun! Fun! Fun!. Theo made everything work…he was so helpful in coordinating everything we needed and wanted to do that week and answering all of my questions with extreme patience!! I highly recommend this property - it is professionally managed, impeccable grounds and attention to detail and worth every penny. Thanks again for a great time.

From the minute you arrive this paradise will not disappoint -from the breathtaking views to the cool palapas. Theo will help you to arrange activities. Javier will make sure the grounds are beautiful, the pool is clean, and everything is running smoothly. And Marianna and Nancy will cook up some of the best authentic Mexican food you can eat. Oh, and Jessi does such a nice job cleaning each of the casitas every day. This property and the friendly people who care for it will not disappoint!

What a magnificent job you have done with the Casa! It was perhaps the most inspired spot we could have found for a group of artists we support.

Amazing place for a mid-size group where everyone gets their separate space and there's a joint hangout area. Immaculate gardens throughout the 5 acres. The add on all meal cooks service is amazing. It's a short walk to Sayulita so built in vacation and exercise.

I turned 30 this year and decided to celebrate in Sayulita with 16 of my closest friends, mom and aunt. Villa Pelicanos was a dream come true. It was perfect for a large group. It was so convenientaly close to town, we rented golf carts for the stay but also found ourselves walking home a few nights. Mariana and Nancy, who cooked our meals, were an absolute treasure. The nicest and best cooks i’ve ever met! Check in and the communication through out our entire stay was a breeze. Sayulita is such a magical and colorful town filled with amazing food and people, Villa Pelicanos was the cherry on top. The greenery and detail of the entire property left us all speechless. 100/ 10 experience

We booked Villa Pelícanos for my 40th birthday (17 guests). The property is very well manicured and highly taken care of. The ocean views from all the casitas and palapas are breathtaking. You can hear the sound of the waves crashing from every location on the property. There was plenty of space for people to relax solo, read a book, take a nap or hang in a group by the pool or the living room palapa. They also have 3 hammocks to enjoy :) Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs everyday from your room to the pool. I recommend renting golf carts to cruise into town and back. It isn’t very far but we enjoyed having them everyday to shop and bar hop. Note: Ask Theo to arrange airport pick up and golf cart rentals. There are a lot of great cooks in our group but we decided to treat ourselves and have Marianna & Nancy prepare meals for us everyday. They are amazing cooks and catered to all our needs. We had a taco bar, chile rellenos, enchiladas, ceviche, grilled chicken, steaks, shrimp, veggies etc. We went fishing and they grilled our catch (Dorado) to perfection. There was also black beans, rice and guacamole with every meal (by request). We can’t stop talking about the great time we had on this property! Well done Victoria & Richard! We already started making plans to visit your property next year and hope this becomes our annual holiday :)

Want to come back for my 40th!

I'm not sure if there is a more perfect property in Sayulita than Villa Pelicanos. Our group of 6 adults and 8 kids (ages 7-14) loved every minute of our stay. This property is large enough to give everyone needed space, but still with welcoming common areas to enjoy time together. Having your own "private" beach was so special. My only suggestion would be for the property to have chairs for sitting on the beach. Mariana, Javier, Theo, and the entire staff were all wonderful. We all hope to return someday!
