Overall, the location is great and the rental company was very prompt about attending to issues. However, please be advised this place does not have air conditioning. It was very hot the first day/night we were there and it was quite uncomfortable. Also, the living room is sunken in to the house, so there are 2 stairs in very odd areas to access the room. Everyone besides me in my family (including my 78 year old mother in law) fell down the stairs, causing bumps and bruises). There was black mold in the bottom of the garbage can, which should clearly have been caught by the cleaning service, considering I paid $300 for it as part of my rental fee. Some of the lightbulbs were burned out in the main room. We lost Wifi connection the first night and later found out that the router is not located where they indicate it is in the Welcome folder, which should have been an easy fix, but ended up taking half of our stay to alleviate the problem. One of the dining chair legs broke by coming unglued to the chair seat, causing a guest to fall. To top it off, someone in a neighboring house broke glass in the community hot tub, causing it to get shut down the first day we were there. They didn’t clean up very well as I had to pick up small pieces of glass outside of the roped off area to avoid my small children (and me) from stepping on them. Needless to say, we will probably not rent at this complex anymore.

We were two families going to ski at Wisp and the location to the resort was amazing! We didn’t realize that it was less than a 5 minute drive from the house to Wisp, and that made it so much easier to go back & forth. We did not initially receive the check-in email and I had to call VRBO because we hadn’t received a response with less than two hours from check-in. VRBO was able to reach the property management company and we did receive it and were able to access the property. Unfortunately, in the check-in email was information regarding the minimalist provisions in the townhouse, so we didn’t have time to bring our own salt & pepper, additional TP and paper towels and toiletries. If it’s going to be that sparse- no soap in the bathrooms, except a partial hand soap in the half bath- that information should be sent out AT LEAST 24hours ahead of check-in. This was the most sparsely stocked accommodation we’d ever stayed in. All that said- it was clean, comfortable and the location was EXCELLENT. We would stay there again but we’d pack, soap, salt&pepper, TP, paper towels, ketchup etc.

Overall our experience was good. We loved the location and property. I’ve think that there are some things that could be better kept, such as the cleaning of cobwebs inside and on the deck. Even for two people the paper products were barely enough for the the amount of days we stayed there. We were otherwise comfortable there.

The property is beautiful. Great location. Some minor cleaning and maintenance issues but overall very nice stay. Well equipped home with more than what you need. Making summer vacation plans to return.
