The “barn” is a wonderful timber peg building with everything you need inside! Our Hosts Ruth and Stearns supplies us with all we needed and allowed us our privacy while being just moments away by text if we had questions. A perfect vacation rental!

The location is both scenic and convenient for kayaking with direct access to the Quonie salt water lagoon. The beach is pristine, never overcrowded and can be accessed either by a short 1-2 mile car ride or a quick row across the lagoon and short walk over the dunes to the beach. The house or “barn” is very spacious with a large kitchen, large dining table as well as casual seating, a piano and pool table. The loft has a bunk room plus a double bed; the master bedroom is on the first floor. Best suited for close family with children and extended family. We loved having our dog with us and enjoyed our daily walk down to the dock.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Haversham barn. Meeting Ruth and Stearns to go over the property took away any questions we had. They are great hosts. The house is charming and very comfortable to stay in. We had no issues during our stay. We would stay again with no problem!

The house is beautiful and soo unique. It really made it feel like we were on a special vacation. The location and view was wonderful. We really enjoyed the area. Westerly is nice and beachy-loved it! and close to Newport, Stonington, Mystic, Watch Hill. The outdoor shower was an extra treat! Will definitely be back. Ruth and Stearns are very welcoming and easy going.

Property was clean, comfortable and spacious for the 6 of us. Water view, kayaking and beaches were outstanding. Noted lack of traffic and tourists was a pleasant surprise. Landlord was accessible and very pleasant. A great vacation location.

Such a cool and comfortable place. Lots of space to spread out in the large kitchen and dining area - with a beautiful view. Fenway beach was perfect for our two small children. We had a truly great vacation!

This owner-built barn/house is just the right balance of elegance, convenience, and funk. Great location on a salt water pond just a mile or so from Weekapaug beach, one of the finest in New England. The rental comes with several beach passes which gives you access to this otherwise private beach. The house has a few funky elements, such as a toilet that fills with hot water ... but that's another story, but why would you go to a beach house that doesn't have a little funk. The downstairs layout is perfect for entertaining, with a large dining area and kitchen island. A TV, pool table, and even a baby grand piano means there is something for everyone. The walls are glass sliders that look out to the pond and ocean beyond. The kitchen is fully equipped, and wile some of the utensils could be updated, they'll get you by. Hey, this is a beach vacation, remember. The South County area of Rhode Island offers a wide range of entertainment options--historical, salty, honky-tonk, and delicious. Owners Ruth and Stearns are friendly, helpful, unobtrusive, and delightful! We had a great time!

My boyfriend, pup and I had a great time at the Bryant’s this week. They couldn’t have been more gracious hosts. The floor plan is open with soaring ceilings. The entire back of the house is sliders to a beautiful view of the yard and Quonnie pond. We kayaked and spent some time on the docks. Loved the privacy and open space and our pup was mesmerized by all the birds and butterflies. We loved the Inn Beach that was long clean and had shockingly few beach goers - especially midweek. Perfect for relaxing, swimming and long walks. We would definitely go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bryants cottage in Westerly last week. We brought kayaks and paddled around the pond. We surfed and swam at nearby Fenway Beach. The beach pass and buttons were a huge bonus. The house itself is roomy, well maintained and charming with a piano, pool table, antiques and shelves of books to complement a huge farmer's table. The owners are delightful and ready to help in any way. We will definitely be back.

My family and I (wife and two children under 3) recently spent a week at this home. Ruth and Stearns helped me get acclimated immediately following our arrival. The house has many fun characteristics and is bigger than the pictures appear. We took advantage of the beach passes daily and spent a number of morning in Watch Hill (10 minutes drive) for breakfast. The kitchen flows to the patio seamlessly and we spent a lot of our evenings enjoying the views to the pond and ocean over dinner. The family favorites was the outdoor shower, walking to the dock, and playing billiards. Look forward to our return!

Our time in Haversham was wonderful. We arrived before the season was in full swing. Ruth and Stearns were very helpful in informing us of all there was to do and making it as easy as possible for us to have a great time in the house, on the patio, on the water and at the beach. We read on the patio, paddled on the pond, biked to Weekapapug, wandered the beach, and surfed the waves. The house was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for two adults and three teenagers. Thank you for sharing your home. We had an incredible vacation.

We have been vacationing in Weekapaug for 7 years - this is our third year staying in this gorgeous Haversham house. We LOVE the house - it is beautiful and spacious. The furnishings are very comfortable. Our 2 boys (10 and 11) enjoy the big yard and the pond. I love sitting on the back patio, looking at the water, and blue skies. We can bike into Weekapaug and Fenway beach. It is very close to everything - including Westerly and Narrangansett. Bonus - enjoying the live music played across the pond at the Weekapaug Inn - AND the fireworks! Ruth and Stearns are fabulous owners - very accommodating. We will return.

This is a lovely property with beautiful views and privacy. The beautifully built post and beam home is comfortable and has an open floor plan to enjoy entertaining while utilizing an amazing large kitchen. The pool table is a fun addition. The cottage has all you will need to relax and stay without missing the comforts of home. The use of car pass and buttons to the area's best and private beaches is the ultimate plus. The owners are most accommodating and nice. I would highly recommend this property to rent.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was our second time renting Haversham. Very private, rustic interior. A real cottage feel. It was perfect for us.

We stayed here with two adults and four teenage girls. This rustic home was a great spot for us. The sliding glass doors and screens all around almost made it feel like we were in the outdoors. The home is beautifully furnished and appointed...everything we could need for our one week stay - - even beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Our girls loved exploring the saltwater pond with a rented canoe and made many bike trips in to Weekapaug and Miquamicut. They enjoyed the upstairs bedroom with four single beds - - perfect for the kids. The downstairs bed was very comfortable for the adults. We loved the big kitchen/dining area and the pool table was a hit with the girls. If any issues or questions arose, Ruth and Stearns were very quick and responsive...they clearly wanted our stay to be a good one.

I couldn't have chosen a better vacation rental for our family vacation in South Rhode Island. The house is rustic yet homey, well appointed with everything we needed including linens, kitchen supplies, a pool table and even a piano. The glass doors around the whole ground floor bring the outdoors in and the view is outstanding. The home is isolated enough to make us feel alone yet minutes away from beaches, shopping and hiking. One huge asset to this rental is the use of the beach badges which saved us money and allowed us access to two very nice, uncrowded beaches. We thank the home owners for their availability and personal attention in orienting us to the details of the house and also local amenities. We will be back to Haversham!

This beautiful post & beam cottage is perfect for the couple or family that wants a get-away spot that is near everything you could want to do in Westerly/Mystic area! We vacationed for 4 days with kids & grandkids - going to the beautiful Weekapaug beaches, seeing a drive-in movie in Misquamicut, enjoying Mystic shops, Watch Hill dining & shopping, etc., THEN, enjoying another few days on our own - walks, bike rides, coffee on the beautiful patio with a gorgeous view, etc. The house is perfect - with open living, master bedroom and all on 1st floor, and a loft w/double bed) & 4-single-bed bedroom upstairs for guests / grandkids! Really GREAT!
