It was perfect. So comfortable, relaxing and totally great. So close to the beach. We walked right on down.

We had a wonderful time with family at this beachfront home. I would recommend it for anyone with a larger group who wants to be close to the ocean. The home is older, so don't expect anything fancy. The cleanliness could be a tad better in the kitchen area, but the beds were all clean and comfortable. Another small issue was that the hot water never seemed to get hot enough. It was warm enough to shower, but definitely not hot. None of these things were bad enough for us to call maintenance. In my opinion, it would be nice to have more seating facing the ocean windows, but this may not be an issue for those who prefer watching TV over watching the ocean. Overall, it was a great weekend and a great place to stay.

Charlies place was sufficient for our group of 11. We spent Thanksgiving Holiday at the beachouse with our family from NY,NJ,AZ,OR. There were sufficient dishes, utensils, pots and pans to accomodate. Plenty of rooms and beds. Lots of puzzles, books, games and beach toys for the littles. Recommendation, rubber mats for showers and tubs. Our 80 yr old mother felt very insecure aboutshowering on the main floor and is not able to climb or decend stairs. Overall, was a lovely home would stay again

This house is everything we hoped for. Plenty of space for everyone to be able to get away when needed but great common space to all be together and enjoy family time. Walks down to the beach were a easy, daily occurrence with the direct access. Easy day trips to Newport and Tillamook for even more fun. Easy communication with owners and simple check in and out process. Would stay here again for sure.

The beach access is not what it appears in the photos. Not sure if the pics were taken a long time ago or what but it was very difficult for my aging parents to get down to the sand which was the entire point of booking a place with direct beach access. The main floor bedroom is VERY SMALL there isn’t enough room on either side of the bed to get in and out without hitting knees or stubbing toes. We will still probably book again despite the disappointments because overall it does have the space we needed with private bedrooms and enough bathrooms. The kitchen, dinning and living rooms were able to accommodate our large families needs. The views are beautiful without a doubt.

Property was great. Check in time is too late. Check out time too early. Paying for an entire day isn't really fair if I can't check in until 4pm

Views were amazing and property was adequately stocked with linens and kitchen ware….maybe would have liked more TP stocked but we had a large group. Garage code didn’t work and never heard from property manager regarding that after notifying and the windows were dirty so a squeegee would have come in handy to wipe the windows down. All in all a great place the stay and would definitely stay again

The home was comfortable, well equipped, and had easy beach access via nearby stairs. Beds, bedding, linens were great. Perfect for a mixed-age family group. Will definitely rent again!

Our trip to Lincoln City was fantastic, and our stay at Charlie's Place was wonderful! Lots of space for our family of 13. Kids loved having their own space downstairs and we all loved the private beach access. Such a wonderful space at this home! It was a little dusty inside and we had to clean a few things off but overall was clean. TP was short, but we read previous reviews and brought extra. Plenty of bath towels, but bring your own beach towels. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

This house worked perfectly for an extended family gathering place, and you simply cannot beat the view and beach access! The one bedroom on the entry level is pretty small. The oldest generation used this bedroom due to mobility issues and they got along in it fine, but it definitely is the smallest of the four bedrooms that have either a King or Queen bed. All three of the bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and all had an ocean view. The bunkroom downstairs worked out well for those who were coming for only a portion of the stay - we had one night when every bed was filled in the house. We did wish that the water would get a little hotter; I suspect the water heater isn't turned up for energy efficiency - but we all complained that we would have liked to have had a hotter shower. That said, I must repeat that the beach/ocean view, and private beach/ocean access from this house simply cannot be beat if you're in need of a place with room for this many folks. We had an exceptionally great week, and I know that we made memories for all three generations of family during our stay.

Our momcation group of 9 women goes to the beach every Mothers Day. This was the first time staying at Charlie's Place Great House!! The only thing we would recommend is more towels and more toilet paper. Thank you for sharing your beach house!

Charlie's Place was the perfect beach house for our large Bunco group! 14 crazy ladies were perfectly comfortable and not crowded. We had so much fun and hope to come back next year! Loved every minute of our weekend!

This house is perfect for a big group. Beds for everyone! 3 bathrooms… breathtaking views and beach access!

The house was a lot bigger than I expected. The beds were very comfy. Lots of privacy and an amazing view. I would recommend providing trash sacks for the garbage cans and more than one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, especially with a large party. Access to the beach and the view were the best! Thank you for letting us visit your home.

Loved the view, beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, large table for meals and playing games! And we had perfect beach weather for a November weekend!

The property sits on the beach which is the best part about this house. Floors not as clean as I would have expected, main living area needs some updating and the bedrooms upstairs were nice. Overall it is a wonderful house-just need to ensure whoever cleans pays attentiont to detail. We would come back again.

My family really enjoyed this home. It was clean and cute with a fun cabin feel on the inside. Beach access was just steps away from the deck. We enjoyed the family time on the deck and the great view! This home was very spacious and fit our family great. We will definitely look at staying here again!

Great location with excellent beach access. Beautiful renovated bedrooms upstairs and plenty of room for our family. The downstairs bunk room was perfect for our kids!

Absolutely loved the beach! A few items missing that we expected but we left a few for further occupants - Some items not usable or broken that we worked around - but not that we wouldn't stay again:)

You can’t beat the ocean view or access to the beach. Our host was ready to take a call and answer our questions.

WiFi was awesome. Most rentals WiFi is very spotty. Charcoal Grill on deck. We didn’t turn on the TV once - as we were all having too much fun chatting & playing games. Very comfortable home. Shared bathroom to 3 rooms upstairs. 1 full bath and Small 2 person room in Main. Full bath in basement with 3 bunks for 6 & additional TV area. Ocean Front is always the way to go! Thank you.

We loved everything about this property. We stayed with another family - 4 adults and 6 kids and it was the perfect set up of plenty of room to all hang out as a group while also having space of the kids to play games/do movie night downstairs when they wanted. Easy access to the main Lincoln City shopping, easy access to the Casino and beach access cannot be beat. This is my favorite vacation rental I have stayed in and I cannot wait to come again soon!

Great for families

Always a wonderful time at Charlie’s place. This was our second visit and we will back! Love the new look and furniture- although we did miss the beach chairs this year. Excellent beach access. All the amenities you need for an enjoyable beach trip.

Wonderful family reunion stay

The house was amazing. Beautiful views of the ocean. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. We couldn’t even hear the kids in the basement. Great location. Close to everything.
