I rented this place on a whim due to some issues at another place and it was perfect. Small and cozy. Water pressure for shower is terrible but the comfy beds make up for it.

Cozy cottage, exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay very much! Perfect for a family with a couple kids or 2 couples. The kitchen was well equipped.
Loved the screened in front porch, great for letting our suits and dive gear dry out.
The pool area was very nice and there were a bunch of kayaks avaliable for use.
We had a couple very minor issues (wifi and slow drain) and Elena was VERY quick to respond and super friendly and helpful! She made it clear that if we had any other issues to please text her and she would be happy to come right back and fix them. She wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us.
Great location, one block from a beautiful beach. Lots of really good restaurants close by, great suggestions and helpful info in the welcome binder.
Very reasonably priced for the location and amenities!
We're already talking about a return trip!

Clean, well stocked with everything from beach chairs and toys to dishes and Linens. Short walk to beach. Nice extra amenities like the pool ,(small but very enjoyable) and kayaks.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Margarita Sparkles!! Everything was exactly as described and we couldn’t have been happier. The welcome tray was so nice, and everything was so thoughtfully laid out and thoroughly explained. We hope to make it a tradition, so see you next year! 😊

We had an amazing stay and would love to return! There were so many amenities that we took advantage of! We enjoyed being steps away from a beautiful, wide open beach! We used the kayaks and laundry, too. We were so close to great restaurants and the place was so neat and clean! Thanks again!

We had a wonderful visit! Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Unit was supplied with all you would need and beautifully decorated. The beach water was warm and the most amazing sea green color, simply breathtaking. Highly recommend!

Planned a trip for my wife’s birthday. She is from Florida but had never been to Manasota Key before. As soon as I saw this place I knew it was going to be perfect for us. Honestly we had no idea it would be so clean and tidy like it was. The decor and furniture placement made the space feel so much bigger. We absolutely loved the beach items already being there for us to use. Couldn’t have asked for an easier straight line to walk to get to the beach as well. The other home owners seemed friendly, though we kept to ourselves most often. Another thing we were impressed with were the kitchen items being readily available; including SPICES! We will definitely be back and I have saved this for future family vacations.

Very clean, exactly as pictures showed, everything set up for arrival very nicely. The TV was on upon arrival which caused a lot of confusion and delay getting into unit. The next day we saw a sign outside that said the tv is often left on, couldn’t see the sign in the dark though. Beds very comfortable. Only very minor complaints that would improve the overall experience if resolved: Not all the doors close properly, especially main bedroom door. We had to have something propped up against it to keep it closed. The shower doesn’t drain well at all. The toilet paper is horrible but we assume that’s due to older pipes. Loved the location, kiddo loved the little pool, great kayaking, cute little welcome gift. Would definitely stay here again & would recommend.

This cute and comfy villa was in a great location! We just walked down the street to the beach to take long walks, collect sharks teeth, and watch the sunsets! We had everything we needed, and many extras --the tea, coffee and wine tray on the coffee table was such a nice touch! It was a bit chilly during our stay but we did swim in the little pool, which was lovely and warm. Loved the lanai, too. Thank you for a great stay!

This place was awesome! Our family stayed for the week and it was great. The location couldn't be better! 210 steps to the beach (we counted) everything we needed was there. The house was decorated to perfection! I adored the thoughtful details throughout. They even had a smaller cooler for the beach days. The pool was heated and so much fun. If you want a wonderful place with the BEST service, this is the place! Thank you for the perfect week.

My husband and I came for a wedding weekend and this place was really cute, clean and convenient. It’s right off the main drag and an easy walk to the beach. We never saw a community hot tub or ping pong tables but we wouldn’t have used them anyway. The bathroom was super tiny and I can’t imagine more than 2 people being comfortable there but it was perfect for us.

Three day stay for an anniversary celebration. We had a great time. Very relaxing. First time to Manasota Key. Old school beach town with some cool local dives. Right up our alley. Caught the shark teeth fever and casually found 300+ without really trying. The location was as good as it gets without being directly beach front. I would come back to this villa.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Margarita. It is a charming little beach getaway with plenty of room for our party of three. I found the king bed very comfortable and while the bathroom is somewhat small, it worked out nicely for us. My daughter had no complaints about the double bed in the second bedroom. I loved how close we were to the very non-crowded beach. We had a great time hunting fossil shark teeth. We thought about taking the kayaks out to Lemon Bay but didn't think we could carry them. It wasn't until the second to last day that we saw the wheels for them. Anyway, I highly recommend staying at Villa Margarita for a really comfortable, fun vacation.

We all liked the beach access but the kids liked the pool and my little girl actually went under water and learned how to swim there. So we will always remember this trip and Villa Margarita.

Great place steps to the beach, pool laundry dishes chairs umbrellas coolers everything you need!!! Sifters!!! Towels trust me this is the best place I stayed tons of shark teeth found over 500 just across the street.

Margarita cottage was amazing! The pictures are so accurate and the place is very well decorated and updated!!! We love the location, too! We will definitely stay here again!

Can't say enough great things about this place. It had everything we needed. More than enough space for my family of 4. Clean and organized as well. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. A few bars and restaurants also within walking distance. We spent every morning at the beach which was quiet and not crowded at all. We loved it so much that we're already planning our trip for next Summer!

This property has everything that you need. Beach chairs-sand toys there is no need to pack anything. There is a great need a very short walk. I would recommend a wagon or cart to wheel your stuff to the beach. There was an additional Vrbo charge for booking, which I didn't know about until I saw it on my credit card. If the place is ready they should allow you to check in - that isn't good customer service. I'm sure a lot of people travel a long way. The place was nice-we didn't use the pool, only the beach.

First off if you are looking for a quiet place to stay on Manasota Key, this is hard to beat.
Secondly, many times a place doesn't match the pictures you see online. This one was exactly like what we saw, and the cleanliness of the unit really stood out.
Third, Amy and her team have thought of everything. Umbrellas, chairs, sand flea rake & float for looking for shells/shark teeth, kayaks (didn't use), sand toys for kids (didn't use), not to mention TV options should it rain during your stay.
Don't hesitate to book if you think it would meet your needs.
My only regret was not booking a longer stay!

The unit was just right for a couple or a small family. Super close to the beach. Very clean and quiet and the property manager was very responsive to our needs. Great location on Manasota Key. Looking forward to a return visit.

We loved our stay here, the distance to restaurants/ Supermarkets and of course the beach are great. Very clean, had everything we needed. Also we loved the beach chairs and umbrellas that they have for the guests to take to the beach. We will come back for sure.

This was the perfect spot for our family of three to enjoy a long weekend at the beach. The location is an easy block to the beach and less than a block to Lemon Bay which is so convenient. The house was clean and well taken care of, well stocked, and had everything we needed for the beach - beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, sifter to help find shark teeth and shells, sand buckets, etc. We played cards on the patio table out front, drank our coffee on the screened in porch, enjoyed the little swimming pool and ping pong too. A great experience! We would go back anytime!

My wife and I stayed here a couple nights during a deployment for Hurricane Ian work. The place was nice and was as advertised in the pictures online. Bring a pen and pencil for all the rules! Little excessive on the rules but other than that was a nice stay!
