This property is in a great location on the island and nicely appointed. The hostess made sure we had everything we needed for our stay as well as many wonderful suggestions for island activities and dining.

very nice and would love to go back, only thing is we love our dog and would have loved to bring him with in the house. Pets sometimes are cleaner than most people!!

Three Monkeys is a well equipped and beautifully decorated home with high quality linens and comfortable beds! The well-equipped kitchen was greatly appreciated! We were pleasantly surprised at the easy beach access and the great porches and balconies. The golf carts were high quality and comfortable and our grandkids enjoyed the bikes and beach toys!

This was our first visit to BHI. What a great place. Kristin went above and beyond before we visited and then in helping one of our guests with something not even related to the house. House was well stocked with bikes, boogie boards, skim boards, games and more

Our stay was perfect from the early stages of thought process to seeing our first sunset. The home had unbelievable views from every window and deck. There was beauty all around and from the wind in our hair and the sun kissing our face, our trip was a miracle. Kristin was wonderful and the home perfect. Would definitely book again. 5 star all the way.

3 Monkeys was a lovely property. The bathrooms and kitchen have been recently renovated and the layout of the house is terrific with beautiful views upstairs. The outdoor space is terrific with numerous covered areas and a screened porch so that you could be outside but in the shade. The golf carts were new which is always nice. We had two teenagers with us but it looked like there was plenty of bikes, booster chairs and such for families with smaller kids. Kristen the host was fabulous to work with and always very responsive. It was also wonderful that she had a great stock of napkins, dishwashing detergent, soap, etc. so we didn't have to buy all of that. The location of the house was a 30 second walk to the beach access and as close as you can get without being the house directly across from the access. We would also highly recommend Cape Fear Boil Company - they bring everything and even bag up the leftovers and take the trash away. We watched the sunset and then came up and enjoyed our food. Highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation on BHI.

BHI is a memorable island and 3 Monkeys served as our home base for exploration. Despite experiencing the worst of possible August weather patterns we all had a memorable time and will return next year. The house was great and as advertised. We would recommend it to a friend!

A fantastic house across the street from the beach. Not only is the home beautiful and in the perfect central location, but it also is stocked with everything you need. Beach chairs, towels, kitchen gear, bikes, gold clubs ... even paper goods and laundry detergent! All the bathrooms have been recently redone, and the golf carts are in excellent shape! Wonderful home on a beautiful part of the island.

Very lovely home with everything we needed! Great location on the island. Beach is absolutely beautiful and very wide. We enjoyed sunrise and sunset walks on the beach nearly every day. Wonderful week creating memories with grandparents and cousins that we will always cherish. Kristin made it quite easy, thank you for sharing your home!

Bald Head is my happy place and 3 Monkeys made my stay even better. The house has spectacular views of the dunes and beach from the entire front side on both floors with an amazing porch that wraps around to the side that includes a table, hammock, and rocking chairs. 3 Monkeys in also in the perfect location on the island towards the middle so you are close to everything. The owner is fantastic to work with and the house is well appointed. I'll be returning!!

If we could give 6 stars we would. This is a wonderful property that is incredibly maintained and steps from the beach. The home is thoughtfully designed that will immediately put you in "vacation mode" the moment you walk in the door. The layout was perfect for our large families with the bunk space upstairs that served as a great kid retreat. Views from all the balconies were incredible and amazing for watching the sunset. As far as location, you really can't get much better being on the beach yet a quick golf cart ride to both the island clubs. Everything you need for a beach vacation has been thought of and is available. Just pack a bag and show up... What really set this trip apart from others for us was the owner Kristin. She defines what hospitality should look like and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It was clear to our family, that she really cared about our experience and takes pride in her home. We can't wait to come back to BHI and when we do we will be staying at 3 Monkeys!!

We had the best time at Bald Head! So relaxing and absolutely beautiful. Exactly what we needed after this year of challenges. The house was perfect for our family, and Kristin could not have been nicer. The house was beautifully decorated, clean, so well stocked, and the layout was great. We loved riding around in the golf carts! Thank you, Kristin!!

We had a truly amazing time at 3 monkeys. The house is perfect! Wonderfully decorated. Rooms each have their own porches. Wave sounds put you to sleep and wake you up. Beach is maybe 100 steps away. Kristen is the definition of a perfect host.

Kristin's BHI home is beautiful! Our family loved the proximity to the beach, club and market! Highly recommend this location!

We had a great week at three monkeys! The home is lovely and equipped with everything you need. New golf carts, lots of bikes, and Beach chairs galore! The views are great and the house is a short distance to BHI club and the market. We have been going to bald head for over 20 years and this house was one of our favorites. Kristin , the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and she responded immediately to any questions. The only downside was the construction occurring on both sides of the house. It did not bother us too much as we were out early for golf and tennis each day and then the beach. The good news is this is temporary and the quiet will return soon!

7 night stay for large multigenerational family including a toddler. Could easily work for multiple families with multiple kids. Really nice location that fits all the needs. We’ve stayed all over the island in previous years. Will definitely be looking at a repeat visit here. The owners are island experts, so they serve as an excellent resource for any questions especially for newcomers thinking of renting. Easy choice here...suspect it books up well in advance.
