The first thing to mention is the Hospitality that Anna provided to our family. 7 adults and 2 children felt overwhelming but Anna was quick to put our hearts at ease. This was essential for us to make our 1st ever family trip a special one. We also met Catherine who was equally as wonderful. They were both so helpful with every question we had and yet also made it feel very private for our family. The house is very spacious with lots of comfortable beds. All the ammenities a family needs. The Lanai was our favorite place to relax with room for all. Overlooking all the beauty hawaii has to offer (including an ocean view) A short walk to a community park that had everything we could hope for. Beautiful setting, snorkling, relaxing, having a picnic and enjoying the perfect hawaiin vibe. Our son proposed to his girlfriend at this park with the most beautiful sunset ever created! This place is a hidden gem!! The home is located about 30 minutes from shopping and tourist spots. And about an hour from popular beaches but this was exactly what we were looking for. There are closer beaches so be sure to check those out before deciding to do a more crowded beach. Overall the experience provided with this home and Anna's warm, kind, and thoughtful hosting was nothing short of perfection. Thank you Anna (and Catherine) for everything. We all feel like we made new friends 💗

The property was well suited for our group of 10 and was a great location from which to explore the island. The owners were very helpful with communication about the property and suggestions for activities.

Our family had a very pleasant 3 week stay here. The property was well-appointed for our needs. We appreciated having beach/snorkeling equipment and towels available for our use at the beautiful nearby bay, as well as coolers for hauling groceries and refreshments on road trips. There were activities and sights to enjoy on foot or by car. Our host was helpful in suggesting places to visit or picturesque places to eat, and also graciously shared with us some of the fruits and flowers found on site. Whether looking for a day to relax on a warm porch with a good book or a base camp from which to set out to explore all the sights on the island, this is the place to be. Mahalo Anna!

We had a great time! Traveling with "twenty-somethings" and not "twenty-somethings" is a challenge and the home gave us enough space that everyone could relax or socialize without feeling intrusive. Anna is a wonderful host that is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Access to Kona or the southern point of the island was convenient from this location. Manini park and water access is just down the street and other beaches are a very short drive. Highly recommend spending vacation time here.

We really enjoyed the area, we loved working with Anna she was great! The home was wonderful! The beach was within walking distance, and the snorkeling was amazing. We loved the Island!

We have a large family of nine and this house was perfect and in our price range. We loved the location close to snorkeling and tidepools. Our host was great, communicative and helpful. The property felt very private and lush. Bring mosquito repellant!

We had an absolutely wonderful 10 day stay at the house! It was very comfortable for our party of 8 people. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We ate outside on the beautiful deck for every meal. All the furniture is also very nice and comfortable. Nate the caretaker and Katherine were super nice and helpful, they brought us great banana bread that Katherine made and fruit from their garden. The bay and very nice park are only a few minutes from the house. We are very happy we stayed there and love the area and would definitely stay there again!

Anna was an amazing host! She was alway willing to give us ideas for our next adventure and they were always spot on. The house was amazing for my family of 10. The scenery and experience just two minutes walk away was great, seeing whales, dolphins and sea turtles. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is so peaceful. Will definitely be booking again next time I come.

Anna and Catherine were accommodating and communicative for our needs during our 2 week stay in Captain Cook HI. This home is a Quiet property in a near jungle setting several minutes walk to Manini beach with great views of the sunset and ingress for snorkeling. The property has an excellent Deck with secluded garden view (and visible ocean in the near distance) was our favorite spot in this home. Ample bedroom space for 3 couples and a small family upstairs, but expect to manage bathroom use.

Truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Lovely home and excellent location.

This property is a great find for a large family gathering. The location is peaceful and just a couple of blocks from the water and a beautiful local park....not a sandy beach. Anna is an excellent host - great communication, responsive, friendly. The home is clean and well maintained. Guests should be aware that restaurants and other services are roughly a 10-15 minute drive up the hill.

Great place to stay nestled into the jungle, the host Anna made us feel very welcome. Check in was a breeze and the stay was fabulous. Walking distance to lava beaches and some of the best snorkeling in the world.

Perfect location...snorkeling/kayaks less than a five minute walk, and Two Step a 10 minute drive. We we made good use of the kitchen and grill. It is the tropics so the afternoon temps get a little warm when the house is buttoned up, but the breeze and occasional light rain cools it down nicely.

The hosts treated us like family. They were so gracious and kind. The location was outstanding and the views were spectacular. This is a perfect Hawaii spot where you can get the small town island feel and the neighborhood people were all so very nice as well. We loved going down to the beach in the morning to see the wildlife...so many fish, turtles, dolphins, crabs. We went in October and the water was perfectly lovely. The home was spacious for our group and we were able to host our children and grandchildren. This is a fantastic place to snorkel because of the coral and clear water. We were blessed so much by the people and the comforts. The home had everything we needed to host meals at home some of the time when we just wanted to relax. We also saw the stars and a meteor shower during our visit (for those who could stay up later ;) We had an incredible time and would definitely return here in the future. Thank you Anna & Catherine.

Anna and her house was exactly what we were looking for. We had a group of 8 adults and 2 children. The house was perfect and had plenty of rooms/beds for the group. The kitchen had all the amenities needed and they had laundry. The location was wonderful. It was a quick walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Anna was also very easy to work with. She was communicative and responsive in a timely manner. If I am back in Kona I will definitely be staying here. Thank you Anna!

We stayed one week and it was wonderful. The location is perfect, peaceful, and away from all the hustle and bustle. Anna the homeowner and Catherine the care taker were very welcoming and accommodating. They’d left delicious bananas bread upon arrival and gave us a nice treat on departure. The house has everything that you will need. Including snorkeling gear and beach accessories. The only complaint we have is to how warm the house was but the week we were there was a big heat wave and the warmest Hawaii has been in years, but even then Anna gave us helpful hints to help keep the house a little cooler while we were gone during the day. The views and sounds of nature were amazing. The bay side is just a short 5 minute walk. My husband and I got to swim with dolphins, which was truly amazing. There were at least 20 dolphins swimming all around us. The snorkeling is also amazing. There is so many tropical fish and my husband saw a manta ray. I highly recommend this vacation home!

The house is roomy and comfortable and within a few minute walk to the beach. We loved starting and ending our days on the lanai. We could have used another bathroom for our large group and a few more fans for the bedrooms. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay. Amazing snorkeling just a short walk from the property. House was well equipped with for snorkeling, boogie boarding. Plenty of beach towels. Kitchen well equipped.

I came here to celebrate my 50th birthday with 10 of my dearest friends and this space with its comfortable decor, closeness to the ocean and lovely wildlife was what we needed to create a beautiful and healing time for all involved. I cannot recommend this space more highly!

Overall we had an excellent stay. Plenty of room for a group of 10 with upstairs being a perfect place for all the kids to sleep. The ocean access that was walking distance from the house was great for afternoon excursions to snorkel and cool off in the bay.

We deeply appreciated this beautiful location within a short walk of Manini Beach & wonderful snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. Having snorkeling equipment & boogie boards available was an added bonus. When plumbing difficulties arose, we were grateful for the caretaker’s quick response. One surprise was that laundry facilities were not available to us (the description needs to be updated), but again the caretaker was very responsive.

Great time with family and friends.. The location was central to many outdoor activities (within walking distance to key snorkeling areas), the house itself was clean and tidy. It was a tad hot with no AC but the use of fans really helped keep things comfortable. Highly recommend this spot!

If you want the true QUIET, rural Hawaii experience this is the place. It was a short walk to the bay where you could snorkel, see dolphins, and relax at Manini Beach. Anna was a great host and provided us with anything we needed. There was snorkeling gear, sand toys, float tubes, and kid body boards to make the beach experience a fun one. However, the neighbors are VERY close and do not tolerate any kind of conversations outside. Our group was larger so it was a struggle to keep everyone quiet enough so the neighbors would not get angry. This is ideal for a quiet group, but I would not bring little ones to this location. Overall, we had a blast but would recommend this home to a smaller, quiet group.

We had a great time, with the beach 5 walking minutes away and good amenities the place was very comfortable.

Great Captain Cook area location - easy walk to beaches, parks, and the ocean.

We loved the neighborhood and location of this property. It was close to best snorkeling spots and a walk down the street to a community park next to the Kalealua Bay. House was comfortable for our large group, and we loved our outside lanai gatherings in the cool breeze. We also loved being away from tourist hubs, and the beautiful lush plantings surrounding the house.

The home was in a beautiful location with quite a few beaches for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling very near by.The owner and her sister are very friendly and are very interested in making your stay very pleasant. It is a distance to stores, but I like the fact that you don't hear the traffic there; it is not commercial at all.

There were 5 of us ranging in age from 30 to 72. We all enjoyed the stay! A couple blocks walk in the morning to check for dolphins and a one block walk to watch the sunset. The kitchen was amazingly well appointed and Anna was extremely responsive to any text questions. Three bedrooms and a huge upstairs with numerous beds. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was a very comfortable place for two couples. Very well stocked with everything we needed. We walked to Manini beach to watch the sunset, and in the morning to look for whales and dolphins. Kona Kay’s fruit stand just down the street was a great place for fruits and banana bread. We would definitely stay here again!

We found the property to be peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful hosts, everything was easy. Well appointed kitchen and barbecue on the deck with a huge lanai. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. We loved walking down the street to the bay. The nearby beaches are quite rocky, so you’ll definitely want water shoes if you plan to swim. The snorkeling and beauty of the bay was breathtaking. One of the best things about the house was the location, which felt private and not at all touristy, but it was easy to get to Kona and nearby markets and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
