We had a great time at this vacation home. Plenty of room and we loved the pool. We will return again 👍

There are 5 areas to eat in! Some of the areas overlap and have dual purpose to include areas to relax. 4 areas inside to relax and at least 4 areas outside. Everything was clean including the pool. It will need to be painted soon so do not mistake that for dirt. When we called to speak with the property management, we received a human! That was very refreshing! The neighborhood was very quiet. It sits a little bit farther away from the beach so it was more affordable than beach front, but still not to far to walk. If we are ever back to the area, we would absolutely rent this house again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The facilities were as described. Although the weather was cooler than expected and the water was cold, a couple of us took in a swim. The house was spacious with rooms for all of us to gather as well as providing areas privacy. The fire pit was great for a quiet evening outside. There was plenty of sleeping options for our group of 6 adults and the beds were all comfortable. The house provided us with a terrific "home base" to rest and recover as we enjoyed the Coast for the week.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was great-right near the beach. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Just hate that it rained on the first few days of our stay. Upstairs was great for the kids.

I rented DDs by the Sea from Franky for a friends getaway. Our friend group is spread across the country and we wanted to rent a house big enough for us to hang out in catch up and relax. We enjoyed the property and having a private pool to relax in. The pool toys were a great addition and suprise to find during our stay. I highly recommend this property for large groups.

This is the second year we have rented this property. We love the location and the house fit all of us comfortably. It was very clean and spacious. We will rent this property again for our next gulf coast vacation.

Our family of 7 adults and 2 littles visited the Mississippi shoreline in July 2023 and being able to stay in this home helped to make our vacation stress free. The house was clean. The pool was great! Communication with the homeowner was also great. The departure requirements from the homeowner for us was also really nice as the list was short and made going home stress free, too. Thanks so much and should we visit the gulf again, we will definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful place for family vacation!

Our group of 12 (ages 2-65) loved our stay at Franky’s house. We were an easy drive to the beach (it was possible to walk but we choose not to with the small kids because of a busy highway). The pool was awesome, and Franky had extra safety features that allowed us to keep the kids from the pool when needed. Bedroom setup was great with the upstairs perfect for a kid or teen hideaway. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had ample equipment for cooking, and it was very clean. The area was more residential giving us some quiet and relaxing vibes but plenty close enough to more commercialized areas with lots to do. Franky also provided some extras for small kids like a pack-n-play, baby gate, and step stool. Truthfully the kids would have stayed in the pool the whole time with a few trips to the beach if we let them. We did bring a pop up tent that worked well near the pool for some extra shade. There was also a big front yard for games. Walmart was just down the road for all the things that were forgotten. Thanks to Franky for letting us enjoy your home at an affordable rate so our kids could see the ocean for the first time!

The whole experience was excellent. The booking went very smooth and the place was everything as advertised. Location was a quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach. House in great condition with great history. The owner was very good to work with and made our stay great. Would highly recommend. Oh! Yes. That pool was a highlight for all.

Make sure you bring your own soap/toiletries but if not, the walmart is super close and convenient. I would definitely recommend this property if you want a peaceful beach retreat with a small town feel but having the options to drive into biloxi or new orleans super easily.

Clean house, plenty of living space.

A lot of space, was surprised how much gathering space there was when we got there between the kitchen, dinning room, living room and sunroom.

We had a wonderful stay here in Long Beach, which would only have been better if Mother Nature had warmed things up a bit so the grandkids could have used the pool more! But, the ample yard space and roominess of the house provided lots of nooks and crannies for them to play. The piano was a big hit as all three of them have been asking to take piano lessons! The proximity to the beach was excellent and many shells (and many, many grains of sand) were found. There are plenty of restaurants with delicious seafood selections that we visited in person and also got carry out orders and enjoyed eating in the lovely rental house dining room. We didn’t get to use the fire pit…”tomorrow” kept being said and then on THE DAY, it rained and rained and rained. So marshmallows were “roasted” over the blue flames of the gas stovetop. So glad it wasn’t electric! LOL. The only “negative” I can say was that there was only one bathroom on the first floor with a shower, so the logistics of the adults’ bedrooms required a “shower schedule” be figured out. It wouldn’t be the greatest housing for someone with physical limitations by not being able to go up a flight of stairs, or with bathing in a very tight shower (although the small shower does have a seat.) There’s no grab bar in the main bathroom (with only a tub) so bathing there would also be a challenge for someone that needed a bit of assistance getting in and out of a tub. We managed nicely, but for a group with more than 4 adults, there might have to be a serious shower schedule session when you first arrive! Also, there are many amenities provided, but you’ll need to either bring lots of cooking essentials with you or buy them at the Walmart that’s not very far away. Eating out is a way to get around that! All in all, I would totally recommend staying here…just make sure the time of year you choose has the seal of approval from Mother Nature for swimming in the pool and in the Gulf!

The house was huge. Near everything. Very short walk to the beach. Hope to rent again as my family and I loved it.

We all turned 55 this year so we decided to take a trip. This house was breathtaking and just a short walk to the beach? We will definitely be back!!

My family and I rented this house for a recent vacation stay and it was an excellent place to stay. The location is great for coast exploration, with easy access to food and shopping. The house is large with a spacious front and back yard, with plenty of shaded area. There is a large pool and also games(pool table, air hockey) available. The town of Long Beach is an excellent area to visit. This property is one of the best on the coast!

This is the second time I 've rented this property for our family gathering. We love it! It has everything we needed and more.

Great family vacation spot. Very comfortable, roomy, and nicely decorated. The pool was a big hit and was ideal for the little ones to learn to swim. Household amenities were well stocked for all needs. Would have liked a shower option in the main bathroom. Two thumbs up, would definitely visit again.

Overall, the house was fine. Did have to get use to areas where you had to step up or step down. Kitchen was well stocked. Bedding and towels were more than satisfactory. Did have some trouble with clothes dryer, but manager sent someone quickly to solve the problem. Several roaches made appearance by midweek.

The property was everything we had hoped for. The beach and surrounding area was great and offered a lot of things to do!

Great house in quite neighborhood, exactly as described, kitchen was well stocked and clean. Kids spent must of their days at the pool. Beach is a bike ride away super quite and clean

We loved it, walked to the beach every day. Plenty of restaurants close by. We had grown kids and grandkids with us. No one wanted to leave the beach house!

White sand and calm waters lead the way to this well tended home. The home suits blended families well and sleeps up to 14. There is plenty of room for gathering or separation as desired. The air conditioning is remarkably good. We brought fans and didn’t need them at all. The pool is big, deep, and comfortable temperatures. The pool house gives teens a perfect escape from the ‘old folks’. Plenty of outdoor & indoor seating and dining spaces. It really is only one block to the beach. Just be prepared to cross a potentially busy 4 lane road with a median. If you are traveling with special needs or disabilities, it would be better to drive and park (considering extra essentials). With that said, at least 4 exterior doors can access the pool, but each door is armed with a key if access needs to be restricted. We loved this home!! The owner was available when needed. The home was clean and well stocked. Don’t miss out on seeing the history of the home… the hurricanes, destruction, and rebuilding with love. This is no cookie cutter VRBO. Lots of character and close enough to everything.
