This house was amazing and the owners were gracious. Super clean and convenient location. We attended VT football game with friends and it was great. You can walk to the stadium if desired - it's about 1.25 miles (up hill on the way back) but very do-able. Location is perfect. The house is very well equipped. Would definitely stay here again for our next VT event.

The property was super-well equipped; lots of indoor & outdoor spaces; huge deck with great view of the mountains; 2 minutes by car to Main Street...even walkable in 10 minutes; easy access to campus/stadium from the north side of town.

What an amazing time we spent at the Henry home! Ericka is wonderful and provides many warm touches to make our stay so comfortable! There were eleven of us with three grandkids who enjoyed running around! The view from the back deck is breathtaking especially at sunrise! Definitely a five star accommodation and plan to book in the future! Love, The Herman Family

The house was in a convenient location to downtown Blacksburg, clean, and big enough for a large group of friends visiting for a football weekend. Erika was wonderful to work with throughout the booking and check-in process.

We were in Blacksburg for a VT football game weekend. Location was great- House and deck were perfect for our group, and Erika was extremely thoughtful with little touches and amenities through the house; From extra toothbrushes, to tailgate supplies, to To-go coffee cups for game day. A great VRBO experience and a great weekend. thank you Erika.

Erika Henry is the BEST host EVER. Every step of the way she went above and beyond to make sure we had EVERYTHING that we needed. The house was a home away from home and there was more than enough for adults, children and Adult Children. The house was 5 min from campus and a beautiful neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this home! There were three different couples and we had plenty of room and personal space along with great areas to hang out together. Everything was very clean and welcoming. It's a short drive to campus and located in a pretty neighborhood. Our only disappointment is that the weather wasn't warmer so we could enjoy the gorgeous deck and yard!

My family and I really enjoyed staying here during my son’s graduation weekend. The layout of the house provided for separate areas to satisfy the needs of the family. We had children playing board games in the sun room, our young adults relaxing on one side of the deck, my siblings playing games on the other side, and the remainder scattered through the house spending time with each other. Erika also provided toiletries just in case we forgot something (which we did). Her kitchen is fully equipped and there were multiple refrigerators to accommodate our party prep and Mother’s Day breakfast. I would definitely recommend this home and would rent again if I am back in the Blacksburg area. Thanks again for your hospitality and timely correspondence. We are happy we also had a chance to meet you as well.

We stayed in this lovely and spacious home during the week of Christmas. We flew up for my son's graduation from VT he received his Doctorate. Seven of our family members had a great time and loved the area. Erika was more than a gracious host. She left us a well organized booklet with pictures of the items in the kitchen. It was easy to find everything. Loved the heated floors in the master bath and sunroom.

Our family of eight people stayed in this three-floor 4,500-square foot house with access to most areas. We were privileged to meet the owners, a family of five who know how to live graciously and comfortably. Many thanks to the Erika Henry and her husband and children for allowing us this opportunity.

Our out-of-town family members stayed for 4-5 nights at this beautiful home that turned out to be a perfect location for all functions we needed to attend for a family wedding in late August 2017. We were able to please all members as far as sleeping arrangements and because some came in from Wisconsin, some from California and some from Arizona, it was nice to have all under one roof to be able to visit. Our communication with the owner was handled well throughout our stay. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a spacious home with great ammenities.

Rented this house for my In-laws 60th wedding anniversary. Stayed 3 nights. The kitchen, eating area, and dining room flow very easily....great for family meals.....AND THE DECK...AWESOME SET UP...... I enjoyed my coffee in the morning just enjoying the view of the mountains.... and the quiet before everyone got up. The little kids in our family (and their parents) really enjoyed the fenced in back yard.....we spent all day Saturday at the house...in the yard and on the patio underneath the deck.....then spent the evening grilling and eating on the deck and then just setting around talking on the deck. We had a great time!!

We had 12 family members from across the country join us to celebrate our son's graduation from VT and commissioning into the US Air Force this past weekend. Fortunately, we were able to stay in this home which offered an opportunity to enjoy the company in one place and to NOT have to fight the lines at local restaurants. The owner - Erika - was very organized and made the experience easy! The location to campus was such a plus as we had multiple events. We were able to go back to the house for an hour or so before the next one. I highly recommend you consider this home for your next Hokie event!

The house is wonderful!! Our whole family stayed there and we never felt crowded. The room are all big including the bathrooms and what a porch! The view is probably the best in Blacksburg!! Everything went smoothly and Erika was very helpful. The location is very close to town. There is also plenty of parking in the garage and the driveway. We had 7 cars and they were all in the driveway. I highly recommend this place!!!

The house had everything we needed and more. Easy communication, check in/out. Perfect setting for a reunion of alumni friends. Really nice place. We are already talking about returning. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Last year, after finding that the local hotels were already booked for graduation weekend, I went to my go-to website, VRBO. The listing for this house seemed like it would do nicely for our extended family to be together for graduation. Once again, VRBO came through! The house is well-kept, convenient to campus, with beautiful views. We had 14 overnight and all but 3 had real beds. They slept on the cushy sofas, 2 upstairs and 1 down. They were from age 15 through 87. The homeowners were great to work with, paying attention to the details. It was a very nice home away! We highly recommend "Home Away from Home for Hokies"!

We had family members arriving from several locations for a wedding in Blacksburg and this was a perfect place for everyone to stay.. the house is large enough for everyone to feel comfortable and there is plenty of room for storing luggage, etc. The finished basement gave us an additional gathering place that was nice with such a large group. A great deck with a fabulous view! Also, Erika Henry was very organized and efficient -- she responded to emails quickly and made sure everything was taken care of for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Ten of my friends and I were able to reconnect in our college town for the first time in over a decade. Whereas a hotel would have involved 5 different rooms behind 5 different doors, this home provided us the ease of sharing coffee together each morning, snacks and cocktails for happy hour each afternoon, and an easy Uber ride downtown when we decided to visit campus or Blacksburg. While there, we enjoyed convenient laundry access following a rainy hike in the Cascades, and were able to network all of our digital devices so we could enjoy each other's music in the background. The back deck and it's views of the mountains was a fantastic place to spend time catching up with each other. I'd highly recommend this rental. I know I'll reach out again, the next time I have several friends heading to Blacksburg.
