This adorable cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to a little rocky Maine beach with tide pools to explore. It is a great spot for a nice getaway yet still close to the many nice restaurants and shops in the Yorks and several cute towns nearby, all within within easy driving distance. And of course Nubble light is a must see. The quaint cottage reflects its knotty pine roots and beach theme. Yet it has a nicely equipped modern kitchen and adorable outside seating areas. If you are looking for a beach cottage, this is it. Our hosts were marvelous, communicative, and easy to interact with. “Memories” was a great experience overall. We will certainly return.

We arrived just after Labor Day. The cute cottage was as depicted, clean, everything you need (except linens!) to be comfortable and in a great neighborhood. The rocky beach is a short walk from the cottage and Short Sands beach is an easy 10 minute walk. We walked into the cottage and were greeted with a lovely vase of fresh hydrangeas. Marion was very gracious and checked in with us a couple of times while we were there. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hopefully we can return next year.

This was a fantastic getaway. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Place was clean and short distance from everywhere. Worked out perfect. Would highly recommend.

The owners were wonderful, always responsive, and happy to help with any questions. The property is cute and clean and the location is great; quiet pretty street, easy access to Short Sands.

We loved our stay here. It worked out perfectly for us people and our 2 year old Malinois. Close to sea and shops. Comfortable and clean. Great communication with host Marion. Can't wait to stay here again!

This property is very cute and just a short walk to Short Sands beach for swimming and a small private neighborhood beach for exploring. Our family of 4 had plenty of room and had a great time! The only issue I would say we had was the internet seemed slow and wouldn't always connect. But the teens survived :)

We stayed for a long weekend and this cottage was wonderful! Pictures are 100% accurate. VERY clean. Quiet area. Walk across the street to rocky shore area -- 5-minute drive to town. What a special place. We really loved our time here. It felt cozy and clean, while still holding the charm of an old family cottage that has been well-loved for decades. It was our first vacation since the pandemic and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. The beach at the end of the street was great for peaking into tide pools, soaking up the sun, and just enjoying being near the ocean. Marion is just wonderful, so thoughtful and thorough. Highly recommend!

Lovely cabin right by the beach. Lots to do in town and a 15 minute walk from Short Sands Beach. It was a greater experience

My family of 4 stayed here and enjoyed every minute! The cottage is clean, and well equipped with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Marion and family were so helpful and accommodating during our trip. The cottage is just a short walk to short sands beach/downtown and the area has many great restaurants to be found. We did some sight seeing, spent lots of time at the beach and just loved everything about the week and our stay. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for one week and I think is was great. It had everything you would need for a stay. It is close to everything, walking within minutes to the beaches or a very short drive to everything else. Just a great place to stay.

We were able to explore many sand beaches (and enjoy picnics prepared in the nicely appointed kitchen at the cottage), light houses, and historic landmarks, including military forts, within easy driving distance of Memories Cottage every day AND still have time to enjoy the scenes of surfers, boogie boarders, and joyous dogs and their humans romping on the beach at Long Sands. Sunsets at near by Nubble Light were the perfect way to end the days before returning to the comfort of the cottage. There were sufficient reasonably priced restaurants nearby when we wanted to eat out and a market that carried a "fish chowder" selection of fish the night I wanted to make my annual Maine chowder and corn muffins. The cottage neighborhood was neat, quiet, and respectful of the privacy of all. Memories cottage provided us with more than we expected in the way of amenity's and comfort and made our 30th year of traveling and staying on the Maine coast a most excellent memory
