This was a great location for a close to home, anniversary getaway.

Overall, the house was wonderful! It was clean, the check in process was easy and Jack was a wonderful host! He's great at communicating and helped answer all of our questions! Our only "complaint" (and I use that word loosely) is that the house is only the basement portion of the house. That was a surprise to us as we checked in as we thought it would be the whole house. Not a huge deal as it was just the two of us, but it was a little confusing as we walked in and had the realization. Otherwise, everything about the house was wonderful. We were out on the deck every night watching the sunset and enjoying the hot tub. Jack was kind and let us use his grill, so that was a big plus! Just a heads up, we were aware that there was a mini fridge, but the inside door didn't have all of the shelves in place to hold stuff in the door, so we were even more limited on fridge space than what we already had. We always travel with a rolling cooler anyways so it wasn't a huge deal for us, but it may be for other folks who aren't expecting it! I will say, as we were trying to figure out if another couple would be joining us and ran it by Jack, he said the house may be a tight fit and actually recommended another one of his properties incase our other couple came along! Turns out they didn't so we didn't need it, but he was very accommodating and helpful! We ran into him as we were leaving the neighborhood and he was so kind and nice to chat to! 10/10, would rent from him again!

Jack was very helpful and has a lovely home! My wife and I spent the weekend here to have a little retreat from our 4 little angels and had a wonderful time!

My best friend and I really enjoyed the property. We were there to celebrate her 50th birthday. She said the entire weekend was amazing and the best birthday she's ever had. The place is small in size but the view (especially from the hot tub) is spectatular.

Very restful

Jack upgraded me to a bigger property after informing me a couple days before the trip that there was as issue with the one I had rented. Not a problem - they moved me to one with the same amenities and didnt charge me extra for it. Nice place. Only issue we had was we were told when we had to move to the other property, that the hot tub would be working upon arrival, and it did not work. Owner came over about 1030 the next morning, had to come inside the property, and they got it fixed. Other than this issue, the place and the stay were nice and classy. Issued a 4/5 simply due to being told the hot tub would work upon arrival and it didnt, but very nice place in a beautiful setting.

We stayed at Jack’s place for a quiet, relaxing birthday celebration for my boyfriend. The entire area was amazing and so peaceful. We really enjoyed ourselves. Jack was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

The property was clean enough, except the ice trays were pretty dirty and the coffee maker. The hot tub smelled funny, we still used it but showered both right before and right after just in case. View from the deck was great.

Nice small place to getaway. I small stove or a gas grill with a burner would be a good addition to the property.

Jack was great and made check in super simple. The view here is amazing from a beautiful deck with deer grazing below. I would definitely recommend!

Nice cozy place. The vintage art and decor gave the place a nice vibe. This property is not too big, but definitely enough room for 2 people. This is the basement/lower part of the property only and Jack was not there while we were. But we did have access to the outside upper deck. Would've liked to chill in a lounge chair out there, but the chairs available were fine. The bed was very comfy, sheets were soft, and the area was very quiet. The hot tub was great to relax in. Jack was a great host! He touched base before we arrived to give us check-in details, he gave us recommendations on good places to eat and places to check out in the area, and he also gave us some info on a few specific things we had questions about and wanted to do. This property is a little bit outside of the town Eureka Springs, which is nice because its very quiet and no traffic. But if you do need to go into town it's roughly a 20 minute drive. But the scenery is fantastic so we didn’t mind. There are no hiking trails or access to the lake within waking distance from the property. So you’ll have to drive, but not too far, to get to those as well. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this property and recommend Jack as a host. Thanks again, Jack!

Everything was as advertised. I was worried, after reading some reviews that it wasn't completely private, but we had a good experience and had the weekend to ourselves. Was stocked well for everything needed and the hot tub was great!

It was wonderful. We are 68 years old and feel like teenagers again. I recommend it highly. The view and hot tub were great ❤️

Our stay was amazing. It was very relaxing and peaceful. It was just what me and my husband were looking for on our Anniversary.

This Back Patio Suite was very peaceful. The trees open just enough to see the lake. We had a family of deer pass by twice each day. Was disappointed in the cooking set up. But it says not set up for cooking. The grill is a camping grill not a big grill. We had to add water to hot tub to get it to work and felt it could be cleaner. We sure slept good after being in the hot tub. You will want to bring your own fans to move air. No Ac/Heater controller. That is controlled by main house upstairs. If you’re looking for a Peaceful place to relax. I recommend this Peaceful Suite and it’s coziness.

The view from the deck was amazing. Watching all of the deer and crazy squirrels was so entertaining. Jack was an awesome host and made us feel right at home. He gave great suggestions of places to eat and places to visit.

Great for a quiet weekend!

The bed was so comfortable we contacted the host to find out where it was purchased and ordered one for delivery just like it.

Jack’s place was perfect! Had all the amenities we needed and was so relaxing. Great location and distance to get to places for exploring. My favorite thing was sitting on the deck having coffee and watching the deer play. Jack was also so friendly and available if we needed anything.

Jews and wildlife were amazing! We had a very peaceful weekend! Jack is the loveliest host!

Great property very secluded.

Jacks cabin was amazing! It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the neighborhood. The view from the deck was gorgeous. We loved watching the deer come up in the mornings and watching the stars from the hot tub at night. We will definitely book again when we go to Eureka Springs! Thank you Jack for sharing your magnificent place!

My wife and I stayed here for our 19th anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The setting is extremely peaceful and we loved getting to see some of the various wildlife in the area, particularly the tremendous amount of deer in the neighboring areas. The location is close enough to town for quick visits but located far enough away that you can really enjoy the outdoors. We definitely would recommend this property!
