The Tanglewood development and this home are the premier place to stay. The VRBO listing accurately describes the home and area. If Parksville is your destination then book this and you will not be disappointed.

This property is beautifully decorated with lovely linens and thoughtful details. I would have appreciated more TP and the pans which is pretty standard for rentals were not great quality. Tea towels would have been nice as well. Overall the property was delightful, would definitely book again.

Great location, wonderfully appointed, beach toys for our children to play with, lovely touches with the utensils and dishware in the kitchen. Just enough ground coffee to get 3 adults through our trip with 3 kids. :)

We loved our stay and would highly recommend for anybody, but particularly families with little kiddos. We had two-year olds who loved visiting the Rathtrevor beach everyday. Just a short walking distance, you'll be met with lots of shallow tide pools safe for kids, sand and ocean life like crabs and clams. It was also perfect for flying kites! It's probably one of the most well-stocked vacation properties we visited. The kitchen has everything you need (including plastic plats and cups for kids); there are beach towels, wagon and beach chairs; on the patio desk there is a BBQ grill; and the washroom has shampoo, body wash, lotion, and more. The house also comes with one playpen and one high chair. Playpen is in a good shape but the tray on the wooden high chair is leaning downwards so we recommend bringing your own portable feeding chair for infants and toddlers. One minor challenge: We would visit again but with our own towels. The towels were stinky unfortunately and need industrial sanitizing. Overall, a very clean, ideally located property in a quiet neighbourhood with a nice host who is excellent with communication. High recommend!

Great location - close to the beach and to town. Place is clean and accommodated our family. Only down fall was not having air conditioning on these hot BC summer days.

Perfect family get-a-way to say the least. The property was stunning/spotless upon arrival and the communication was like communicating with NASA; clear, quick and efficient. Max 3 mins walk to the beach where you can spend all day watching the tide go in and out, see tiny crabs, look for sand dollars and simply enjoy the beauty of Parksville. Short drive to the town where you’ll find more beaches, restraints and playgrounds (highly recommend the community centre playground for kids). Overall would definitely stay again - Thank you Susan!
