It was a great stay. The place was clean, roomy, had just about everything you need for a stay and a bbq pit you can use, which is great for us Texans 😉 The owner got back to me quick with info and some help I needed on our 2nd day. Enough space for 3 trucks to park. Close to where the guys were going to dock from so that was definitely a plus.

Had a fishing trip canceled and Travis was generous and worked with us. Will be using again.

We enjoyed staying here. It was a great location and was described perfectly. The host even had fresh sunflowers on the bar to greet us!

It is just before the bridge to surfside and away from the craziness that can be found on week ends. We were there for a month and the kitchen was furnished for that. Beds were comfy. Big deck space and the under deck (bar area) was shaded with a large screen tv. Not a young party area.

We enjoyed our visit and stay here. The property was clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with dishes. My friends were super excited to see the keurig! We also loved that one room was downstairs and isolated with a bathroom and mini fridge. This was perfect because I work remotely and was able to get away and work quietly. The only downside was that room did not have easily accessible outlets to plug my laptop in. We still made it work and loved our weekend. My friends and I are already talking about our next visit back.

I grew up on Surfside and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite vacation spots as an adult with my children. The location on the canal is perfect for both daytime and nighttime activities. Fishing right off the doc. My 9 year old loved fishing in the provided kayaks. The downstairs entertainment space is a bonus. The owner created a space conducive of family fun by providing yard games (jumbo corn hole, and hook game). The main level house is very clean, fresh, bright, and updated. Living room is spacious and can accommodate a good amount of people. Beds are comfy. The neighborhood is quite, family friendly, and the area is safe. Just a couple of minutes to the bait shops, restaurants, and beach access.

This house is amazing

The house was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed kayaking, fishing, cooking on the grill and playing cornhole in the evenings. It’s a short drive to the beach and several fun restaurants. Travis was very attentive and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing!! The house was very clean. Travis, the owner, let us check in early because no one was in it the night before. The house was very accommodating for the whole family. We had family from 5 months old to 50 years old. All you need to do is pack your clothes and the food you want and head to the beach. It was so nice that the house had everything you need. It’s very roomy and the AC is COLD, which was very nice after being out in the heat and the humidity. We will definitely come back and I will be referring friends and family.

The house was bright and cheery, with accurate description of the property. There was lots of seating so all 6 of us could watch a movie. Nice large eating area for everyone to sit at the table. The beds were even comfortable. We spent a lot of time down in the carport area that had lots of seating and a nice breeze to keep us cool and mosquitos away. Loved the bathroom shower. It’s not often there is a nice bathroom but the updating made it wonderful. They provided plenty of toiletries, and paper products. We didn’t do a lot of cooking so the kitchen accessories we fine for us. Travis was wonderful and very nice and accommodating as we arrived 45 min early. Whenever I had a question he always responded very quickly. My own family takes longer to respond to text messages. It was a great and relaxing time for all of us. It is so very nice that they shared their piece of paradise with us. If we ever get back down for a beach vacation we know where to go. Thank you Travis!

This home is a perfect get away location for relaxing and fishing. The home was clean and super nice inside. Outside area was even better. Travis was very informative and helpful for checking in and out. We will stay there again!!!

We spent a week here while in town for work. Our family really enjoyed the home away from home. Great place to relax and enjoy some much needed family time.

Love the house

This is a great property in a great location near Surfside. With a short, easy 5 minute drive, we were at the beach. That is, when we were not spending time at the house on the large deck! The house is very clean and in good condition. The pictures on this site accurately represent the property. Travis went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Casita Delfin and Travis was always available to answer any questions. They provide the basics that a lot of houses don’t as well as kayaks, games etc. We will come again.

Travis was a very helpful and gracious host. He was quick to respond to questions. The house and property were neat, clean and very accessible to whatever we needed. No problems or issues. I would definitely recommend this property.

The place was pretty nice but the mosquitos were unbearable. Couldn't really spend any time outside other than the run or fast walk to the car. It was definitely tough having six people using one bathroom upstairs. There is another but it is downstairs in the garage/bedroom/laundry room. Travis was very good about answering in a timely manner and went the extra mile by leaving some beer champagne, and a nice note in the refrigerator for us. My only real issue that I'm not in agreement with was we had $175 taken out of our deposit for "some staining on the couches". I was unaware of this and never saw any proof or photos so who knows.

Used this service many times . Owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with. House is nice and clean and will consider for our next stay in that area.

We cannot say enough about this place, it was perfect for our trip! We are a fishing family, the views were awesome, the house sits right on a canal, perfect to dock you boat at. Beds were comfortable, house was nice and had a great deck overlooking the canal. The owner hands down rocked! Very accommodating and very kind! We will definitely be back again soon! Thanks Travis for making our stay amazing!

The experience was great, very easy to find and has every you could want. Plenty of room for everyone! Overall I will be staying there again!

We bought seafood in town and cook outside shared a family meal on the deck. Went to the beach to collect shells with our Grand kids. Also set the crab trap but had a little bad weather had to leave early. Owners very versatile on check in and check out. House has every thing you need. Just have to be careful with the carpet, Holiday weekend heavy traffic getting over to Surf Side. A lot a spaces to escape for quite time reading. We will book again in the future .
