This is a wonderful property. My lower rating is the result of all the pollen and tree droppings covering everything. Of course, this may be due to the timing of the year and is situational and may not have any bearing for others.. But unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short because of the severe pollen which created an adverse allergic reaction, making it intolerable for me to stay. I do not have a history of allergies and this was my first time experiencing such a reaction. There is no way of knowing that would be a problem. So sad because the property is so beautiful and ideally located.

As usual our stay at Julie’s house in St Helena was comfortable and enjoyable. We have stayed here a number of times and it is always perfect for us. It comes with a bonus called Bullseye, who came to see us several times each day. Thank you Julie, Ron && Liz

Beautifully appointment home with lots of lovely design elements. Very helpful and responsive host too. Will certainly be going back. Beds comfortable and all kitchen appliances were great. Lovely back yard too, plenty of space and great seating areas.

My wife and I are thinking about moving to Napa Valley in a few years and wanted to get more of a feel of what it’s like to truly live and work from there as opposed to always being there on vacation. This house worked out perfectly for us. It had the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO that we’ve ever stayed at as well as very well-stocked with sundry items such as paper towels, plastic bags, toilet paper, etc.. The house was very well laid out for two people as well as being roomy enough for us to have guests a couple times during our five weeks stay. It had a huge backyard that felt like the biggest backyard in all of Saint Helena. Great for relaxing as well as doing a little entertaining back there. The town of Saint Helena itself is charming and full of restaurants and interesting little shops. Most were walkable from the house. Our favorite was the burger and salad and old fashioneds at the happy hour at the Charter Oak restaurant. Market was another favorite restaurant. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions, and even managed to get Comcast over to the house on Easter day to fix a little Internet problem that came up. I wish I had the same sort of sway with Comcast. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it for others

Just a beautiful week in St Helena. A short walk to town. The accommodation was very well equipped, we were wanting for nothing. Beautiful front porch as well as a lovely backyard. Thank you so much 😊

The property is really beautiful and clean. Comfy bed and quiet , peaceful neighborhood. I was working in the area so stayed here for 7 nights. I never met the owner but we communicated via email. This house really made a busy trip extremely relaxing and I was always happy to get back up to St Helena from Napa in the evenings. I made dinner most nights in the beautiful kitchen and sat in the peaceful garden there a lot. Everything was perfect! Thank you , Julie, for being such a great host.

Our stay at Julie’s home was a wonderful experience. The town of St. Helena is ideally situated in the Napa region. There were many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is charming with a residential feel. The home is a beautiful oasis and the perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day of wine tasting. Julie has stocked the house with everything you need. If you want to cook with all the amazing ingredients available in the area, the kitchen is very well appointed with high end appliances and amenities. The house has a collection of artwork and antiques that add that unique character and charm. The backyard is an extension of the home and a beautiful spot to have a glass of wine and relax. The gardens and landscaping are lovely and the yard seems to extend forever - it is a very large space. We enjoyed the different seating areas and bbq as well. A beautiful home in an idyllic setting.

I discover the town on bike trip a few years ago and was convinced it would be the ideal base for a Napa trip and it was perfect. Location was five star, located in a very pleasant and quiet neightborhood, with a short walk to everything in town. We rode our bikes on the leafy lanes that criss-cross the valley as well as the small rolling hills up Silverado Trail to Calistoga. The bike trip down to Oakville Grocery and back up route 128 to Main Street St Helena was entirely flat with plenty of room on the shoulder for bikes. So many places to enjoy and discover in St Helena. And, such a great home. We will be back!

Great time

What you get is even better than what you see online. Perfect location. Compact one story house but filled with everything you need AND the most amazing backyard ever. The perfect place to hang out, read, nap, sip a glass of wine, have an outdoor meal (multiple tables and seating locations you can choose) or just be. The master bedroom doors also open onto this amazing yard which is an added bonus. The owner Julie is open, accessible kind and responsive. She wants you to have a great stay. if something isn't right she makes it better. Could not recommend more and the best way we can prove that is by saying that we just completed our second extended stay in this beautiful property.

This home offered everything we needed to feel like we were “ home” for our month in St Helena. We look forward to staying here again!

We wanted to rent a home, not another hotel stay, for 10 days in Napa Valley, which we have visited on numerous occasions before. We found Julie's lovely house on VRBO. The pictures said WOW, the price was quite reasonable we thought, and Julie was always very charming, friendly and willing to help. The arrival was as expected, no problems, and we found the house exactly to our liking. The excellent flow through living space culminating in a very practical, large and well stocked kitchen, was very lovely, as was the main bedroom, with its gas fireplace( great early morning and evenings) and sliding patio doors to garden. Excellent wifi. and tv with Netflix, Prime Video etc. The huge back garden needs some organization and love, but was very private, and with 2-3 different area to sit, eat, drink etc. Peaceful, quiet, safe location, saw the Milky Way every night!!! Walk to Main Street in less than 5 minutes, great Cook St Helena bistro there. We ate in most nights and found that easy to do. We wholeheartedly recommend Julie's lovely house on Allison Street in St Helena, and would never consider anywhere else now in Napa Valley area. Beats the fancy hotels on every score!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 weeks to enjoy all of Napa Valley and this house was a perfect spot - great location - easy to get to everything the valley has to offer. Walking distance to everything in St Helena - shops, restaurants, tasting rooms. The yard was completely fenced in and was beautiful and private. I really appreciate the property being dog friendly and Julie (the owner) is 5 stars - she went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

We have had the absolute best stay! So many great memories were made here. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity. We are so sad to see it come to an end!

This home is in a great location. You are in walking distance from many restaurants and shops in downtown St. Helena. It’s a great location. The house was everything the pictures showed it to be and more! We were there for a month and really enjoyed our time in the house. Hope to be back soon!

This property is a wonderful place to stay in the beautiful town of St Helena. It was walking distance to downtown and centrally located for fabulous wineries. But the best thing about this property is Julie the owner! She is so attentive and helpful. She is concerned about making sure the house is well maintained, she has the gardens professionally serviced once a week and her response time with any question is immediate! We couldn’t have had a better stay. Highly - highly recommend!

We have rented this beautiful rental twice and will stay again! This is the perfect location for restaurants, scenic walks, and shopping. Everything is within a short walk.We have loved the house and beautiful backyard - a true oasis. Julie's home is beautiful. The backyard is so private and gives you lots of places to relax and get away. The beds were super comfortable. There were 2 desk set-ups for us to be able to work from home. The proximity to St. Helena is great. Julie is very responsive and attentive.

We were fortunate enough to return to this idyllic home this year for Thanksgiving. This year we were blessed with sunshine everyday allowing us to enjoy the five different conversation/lounging areas in the park-like garden. I even got on the hammock and daydreamed while enjoying the fall colorful treetops and occasional hawk against the blue skies. We especially like the view through the French doors from the bedroom .There were even more unique, clever and whimsical art pieces. We went to Farmstead three times and walked through the holiday decorated town. Wholeheartedly recommend this delightful home.
