Great value for the location. Some issues with people parking in our designated spot and maintenance walking in while we were there, BUT, that is more on the property management, than the unit itself. They did deal with the parking issues fairly swiftly. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location in Kamaole Sands with a view of the ocean from the lanai. I'm sure we spent more daylight hours sitting on the lanai than inside! Kam 3 beach is right across the road and all of the Kihei / Wailea beaches are only a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

This stay was so great. It had some great places for shopping and eating that were walking distance. The accommodations were great, I wish we had stayed longer to be able to enjoy some more of them.

The owners of the property tried to charge me for the cleaning service for their condo. I arrived and at check in they said I had an outstanding balance for the cleaning service even though I paid in full 8 months prior. I disputed the charge on my credit card but was very disapointed how the owners tried to sneak that in. Also, the place was like a batchlor pad. Very, very basic necessities. No saran wrap or tin foil and only 1 laundry detergent box for a single load for a 10 night stay. Would never go back there.

This condo is in the perfect spot to enjoy the best parts of Kihei and Wailea. We didn't spend much time on the property and really only slept in the condo so we didn't cook and can't speak to amenities but for easy access to a great beach, park, restaurants and everything else, we loved it!

The posting is accurate. Location of unit is very convenient access to beach and also the assigned parking spot is right by the unit and entrance/exit gate. Watching sunsets from the Lanai is so enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was spacious and clean, with a lanai that overlooks both the ocean and main fountain of the property. There are lots of books and puzzles to keep you entertained if you’re staying in, and lots of beach equipment if you’re spending all day the beach. There’s a beautiful beach park across the street and everything you’d need is minutes away as far as food, shopping and the ocean.

We enjoyed our stay at this Kamaloe Sands unit. It was very clean and in a good location. The bed and the sofa, though, we’re not comfortable and the internet was spotty. The lanai window needs a full curtain. The owners communicated promptly and provided good beach resources and the kitchen was well equipped. We would stay here again but we hope that the owners can make some improvements.

Property was nice and well kept. Condo is in need of an update and cleanliness could be better, otherwise well equipped and met our needs.

We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the large lanai, where we spent time early in the morning and later until sunset. Wonderful view. Supplies were adequate, only issue was when the dryer was running, the smoke alarm would go off, so decided it was easier to take laundry home. Listing stated there were 4 beds and slept 6, but was only the one queen and a hideabed. We were comfortable and totally enjoyed our time.

We stayed on the first floor of building 10 overlooking the greens, fountains, and across to the park and ocean. For us, the angle of the lanai was very good as we never got the full sun, so we did not even have to use the air conditioning.The lanai was surprising large compared to others at that location. The unit was large too. The kitchen supplies were mediocre and unmatched. It didn't bother us, but it might others. The furniture has been well used and shows it, but we weren't in Maui to stay inside. Just sayin'.

Me and my wife loved the unit. It was very clean, well maintained and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The property is directly across from the beach so we enjoyed those beautiful ocean views and the convenience the entire stay. The host was very good at communicating also and at a price you can't beat. Would definitely book again!!

This property was perfect for our family of 5! The location can’t be beat and the lanai was perfect for accommodating our family of 5. We spent tons of time enjoying the breeze on the lanai while our kids played on the lawn. The condo was a great size and well equipped with comfortable beds and other nice amenities. We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved the location. It was close to the beach so you did not have to carry your beach gear very far. It was within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The grounds of Kamaole Sands III are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Easy walk to the nearby beach. Easy walk to the stores, shops and restaurants. Has two bathrooms, and a conferrable bed. Ground level unit with a great lanai.

The condo was in a great location, and less than a 5 minute walk to a beach with great boogie boarding (with boards and beach chairs available from the owner) and many sea turtles swimming by. Plus restaurants in easy walking distance.

Great location by the beach. Fully equipped kitchen with 2 bathrooms were very convenient for the family.

We have very flexible kids who were just happy to be in Hawaii! The unit was fully stocked with everything we could have imagined and more! It was truly a privilege for us to stay here. Ample room for air mattresses, lots of sand toys, pool toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, games, snorkeling gear, and more! The lanai was so spacious and comfy for us to enjoy our morning coffee. We would recommend this incredible location to any of our friends and family!!!! Oh and the owners were suuuuper responsive and normal!

Kamaole Sands is a huge property but with COVID-19 we nearly had the place to ourselves. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in Maui a few times before, but this condo was our favorite so far. The pictures do not do this property justice!! Much more spacious than expected. The lanai seems gigantic, and being on the ground floor is convenient, especially with the large greenspace adjacent to the lanai. The area was perfect for stargazing in the early mornings before sunrise. The building location is perfect, being right across from Kam III, at the front of the complex. We saw beautiful sunsets nightly, and saw multiple turtles in the water at that beach with only a 2 minute walk to get in the ocean water. The complex grounds are immaculately manicured with beautiful tropical plants and water features. Plenty of clean outdoor grill space. The pool and hot tub area was large and well maintained. My boys, age 12 and 6, met a bunch of other kids their age to play with at the pool. Communication with the owners was super easy and fast. They were so gracious to extend our stay by a day when our flight to return home was unexpectedly delayed. The location in Kihei is unparalleled- all the great Wailea beaches are within an easy 10minute drive. We definitely plan on staying here again. Highly recommend!

Very convenient access to the beach. The beach is great for young kids, and we were able to snorkel from the shore seeing numerous fish and turtles. The grounds are very well maintained, and having the direct access to the huge green space off the patio was a plus. We would recommend this unit!

Great location for exploring Maui. If you love to snorkel, this condo is across the street from Kamaole III - great snorkeling around the rocks and not alot of waves in the morning. We saw several sea turtles while snorkeling in the morning. This would be an excellent location for families with children.

everything was fantastic except the pool was too warm and there wasn't A/c in the bedroom

I was under the impression that as a VRBO the owner of the property should be contacted about issues but that was not the case. The front desk is available 24/7 and will actually help you if you need something.

Enjoyed our stay in this unit at Kamaole Sands. Access to the beach and pool were easy, as well as the lawn out front for the kids to play on. The unit was comfortable with everything needed to have an enjoyable Hawaiian vacation.

Where to start. Scott and Misty's condo is ideal for family's with small kids or kids that need to get outside and run. The Leni was perfect for enjoying the sunsets and watching all the birds and little lizards the kids loved this. The beach couldn't be any closer. On windy days or when the waves were to big for the little ones to handle, the pools located within the complex are a great back up. The condo had everything you would need for the beach as well. My wife already said we are coming back and possible this coming year. Thanks again for everything Scott and Misty you helped make some great memories none of us will ever forget. ~Arnie
