This is our second visit to Barney's and we will return again. The house is located in a quieter area of the beach, but still not far from the restaurants and the Big Store. The views are great, the porch is huge, and the beach access is just steps away. The house is cozy, always clean, and has everything that you need. Adrianna is wonderful. She is attentive and goes out of her way to make sure that your stay is great.

We had a great time at Barney’s Beach House! It was perfect for four adults and three children. Loved the amenities and there were beach towels! Sat on the deck and watched the kids and grandkids playing on the beach for hours. Thank you so very much.

The house was comfortable and a perfect location! Quiet spot of the uncrowded beach. We don't have dogs but if you do then Barney's Beach House is a pet parents dream!!! We would absolutely stay again!

This house was perfect for our short trip to the beach. Beautiful house, great location, everything we could have asked for. Kitchen was fully stocked.. plenty of towels... even beach towels. Nice comfy beds! We loved it and hope to go back!

Communication is key with us and we were not disappointed. Every question was answered to our satisfaction. The beach house was the perfect size for us. My daughters loved the bunkbeds and the pictures of fish! Thank you to the “mermaid” who made my daughters’ stay very memorable! My mom couldn’t get enough of the fabulous view. My wife and I enjoyed the organization of the home as well as the location. We enjoyed the quiet as most houses around us were not for rent. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.

This beautiful piece of property sits facing the Gulf. The home was beautifully decorated, but also warm and welcoming. The owner supplied everything that we needed and even more that we had never thought of! She called us personally to make certain that we had everything we needed. In addition, she told me about the best places to shop and visit. She stated that she wanted us to have a wonderful time while we were staying there and to let her know if there was anything else that we needed. At the end of our trip, I told her that I genuinely would like to purchase her lovely home, as my husband and I had fallen in love with it. She was very sweet, but said that she couldn't do that as she loved it, too. She is now helping us find another piece of property that we can purchase so that we, too, will be able to live in this last piece of beach paradise. And I have found a new friend! It doesn't get much better than that.

So much to love about this place! Of course we came for the just-steps-away beach access and the ocean views from the giant deck. But our dogs really loved playing fetch in the HUGE fenced-in backyard. It's bigger than our backyard at home! As a bonus, the owner is awesome too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barney's Beach House. It was the perfect venue to relax and enjoy the beach with our dogs. The location is perfect, with nothing obstructing the beautiful view of the gulf. The home is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and equipped. We look forward to a return visit.

We had a great family vacation at Barneys Beach House. Just steps from the beach we had our first vacay with two infants and 3 dogs. It was in a beautiful location and we had the best view from the balcony. The wrap around deck was perfect for the dogs and the fenced in back yard was a huge plus. The breeze, sunrises, sunsets, coffee on the front deck, walks on the beach, cooking, grilling, playing with the grandgirls, jeep rides and sharing good conversation made this a perfect trip. Thank you for the best hospitality! I really appreciated the quick responses to questions and follow-up with stuff I left behind. Thank you for everything!

Great layout with ocean view from all rooms. There are hoses on the deck which make rinsing the dogs after beach time very easy. Well-equipped kitchen and full size washer/dryer are very convenient. Hostess has laminated instructions and labels everywhere which take the guesswork out of everything. We will stay here again. P.S. Bring plenty of bug spray or the gnats and mosquitoes will carry you away.

Properties are not on top of each other. There is a direct view of the ocean. Loved the decking all the way around the house but especially on the front for viewing the ocean, the ships coming and going and just the sounds of the ocean waves. The place was clean and well equipped. We will definitely be booking this place again.

Barney’s Beach House is the perfect beach house for a family vacation. The location is outstanding and the house was spotless. The deck has a great view of the beach. Watching the waves in the morning over a cup of coffee is highly recommended! The houses around Barney’s Beach House were quiet so you get that feeling that it’s just you and the beach. The owners were VERY accommodating and friendly and often checked on us to make sure our stay was enjoyable.  Even a rainy day couldn’t spoil our fun. We relaxed in the comfy living area and played games while it drizzled outside. You can’t go wrong renting this beach house. Our family will definitely be returning to Barney’s!

We love Barney’s Beach house! The house was immaculate, easy to find and very peaceful! The area has some great restaurants and Adrianna had laminated menu's for each. Great windows in every room with awesome ocean view. We had booked a few months prior but unfortunately, the Tropical Depression Imelda moved into Texas at the same time. We were lucky our first day we did get to bring the dogs to the beach (off leash). Pups loved the beach and the freedom to run. Barney's has a fenced yard, which was great for the dogs. The rest of the trip was all rain but the satellite TV always worked. The house was so comfortable and such a great view of the ocean from every room, we just relaxed and watched the rain and the ocean. Despite Imelda we had a great time! Adrianna kept in contact with us and was always so helpful and informative. We Thank Adrianna very much for sharing her wonderful home! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity to beach. Our two kids and dog liked being able to just walk right out to the beach, and I liked being able to use the hoses at the house to clean everyone off before going back in the house. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the deck.

This is my fourth year staying in this property. Great location spot, wonderful house and a fantastic place to rent if you bring your dogs.

I cannot say enough good things about Barney's Beach House! Just steps from the beach, this spotless house was even better than the pictures reflected. We loved being able to take our furbabies along. When the owner’s realized our babies are tiny, they took the time to personally reach out to tell us the size between the slats on the porch so that they stayed safe! The owner’s also left a basket of menus for local restaurants and other helpful information. I especially loved the comfortable mattresses, and slept like a baby listening to the waves. The only negative was having to leave!!! Barney’s will be our go to for beach getaways from now on!!

Our family of 8 loved our stay. So close to the beach, plenty of common space to eat and play. It was wonderful! Restaurants nearby and owners attention to detail was amazing!

My family has rented many oceanfront homes in Port Aransas, this year we decided to try Port Bolivar area and we loved it!!! The house was clean, comfortable and decorated perfectly. We loved playing on the decks with a fantastic ocean view and breeze! We liked being on this end of Crystal beach because it was way less crowded. The house had everything we needed and more! Outdoor shower and all the hoses on the decks were very handy and the large fenced yard was great too! Thank you so much to Adrianna for being so kind and wonderful to work with! We will definitely be back!

The bright yellow cabin is set back with a beautiful front row view of the ocean. The home is provisioned with high end appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils, and linens. Beautiful wraparound porch for both sunrise and sunset views. Fenced yard safe for our small pups. Excellent wifi connectivity and satellite cable tv for the occasional rainy day. Far from the maddening crowd down the beach but close to restaraunts in Crystal Beach. Take a day trip to Galveston (on a weekday!) for lunch and shopping on the Strand. Close proximity to a couple bird sanctuaries in High Island as well as fishing at the local Rollover pass. It is Texas weather so come prepared for a little rain, alot of sun, and wonderful storm watching from the front porch. There is a walking path to the beach in front of the house. You should wear beach shoes when walking the path but can set up shelter right on the beach in front of the house. There is also beach access one block over from the house if you prefer to bring your supplies in a vehicle. The home felt very safe with excellent security systems outside the home as well as proper exterior lighting. The owners are friendly and professional and accommodating. Highly recommended for retired couple or a small family.

The property was perfect!! Ample supply of linens, kitchen items, furnishings etc. The homeowner is a delight to deal with. Very responsive and attentive. Dog friendly, laid back and relaxing vacation home just steps from the beach. Close to shopping, good and fun!! Would highly recommend Barney's Beach House to anyone looking for family/dog friendly vacation rental! A+++

Adrianna was so helpful. She answered all my questions at the time of booking about the area. The house is great! The yard is fenced in and very big. The house is open and the bedrooms are a good size. The washer and dryer were very helpful. She left laminated instructions for the house which also included menus for a few of the restaurants. The house is near other homes but not as close as many of the other homes so you get extra privacy and you are very close the beach. The porch was amazing with plenty of seating options and two gates. One leads towards the fenced in yard and one towards the front drive. I would definitely recommend this home.

Absolutely loved the house, location and peacefulness. After losing my home to Ike, I've not been back for many years, so this was a nice way to get back in touch. The views were incredible and just sitting on the deck and listening to the surf was what I truly needed. I will definitely rent here again. It was a joy connecting with Ms. Gilchrist and I'm sure we will talk again. Thank you for opening your lovely home to us.
