Loved the hot tub, the living room and the comfortable beds!

House is close to Breck, just beyond town limits in Blue River. 10 minutes or so to the Gondola, you’d have to do twice the speed limit, including going 60 through a few stop lights to make it there in 5 as advertised. It’s over 5 miles away. No garage so no where to put bagged garbage, they want you to keep it inside, which makes it kind of gross if you’re here for longer than a couple days. New hot tub which was awesome. Kitchen renovation included new appliances, but that was it. Counters and cabinets were old, small and made of particle board. Very little room to put groceries. No en-suite for the bathrooms, ‘master’ bedroom was so small we had to change in the living room. Most closets were locked out so we used the floors to put luggage. Wood burning stove, but only enough wood for a night or two at the house- Stairs were not up to modern standards, had to turn foot sideways to make it up and down. Bathrooms were old and cold, bedrooms were hot and mattresses were old with a memory foam pad on top that wasn’t secured or comfortable. Overall just a run down old house that had some new appliances, TVs were good, couches and dining area were comfortable- Not terrible, but definitely needs a lot of maintenance and updates/upgrades. Surprising considering how little this place probably cost to buy and how much money the property is now worth. They need to use some of the proceeds to fix the place up, invest in the property!

The house was truly enchanting, especially during the snowfall. Its charm became even more evident as the snow gracefully blanketed the surroundings. The proximity to all our desired activities and the convenient location with everything necessary made it an excellent experience. Every corner of the house exuded warmth, creating a magical atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. It was a truly wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning to this cozy haven.

My husband and I were looking to escape the Labor Day weekend madness in North Denver and wanted a nice, quaint cabin environment. This property gave us exactly that. Cozy cabin with beautiful views, access to hiking, close to downtown Breck if needed. All the amenities, a hot tub, movies, fireplace. It was exactly what we needed. Dan the host was very responsive, check in was easy. We brought the dogs and they loved exploring the hiking trail right off the back porch.

A true ski cottage. Close to Breck. Located on SH 9 but did not hear any road noise once inside. Cute little trail outside the back of house that led to Hogwarts sitting area. Had no problem maneuvering our trailer with 4-wheelers. Enjoyed our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 12Sunnyslope! The property is as pictured/listed. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances. The beds were very comfortable. It was very clean. It is pet friendly, & 2 sets of dog bowls were provided. The hot tub was wonderful. Dan was a wonderful host & very easy to communicate with. It’s obvious he’s put alot of thought & effort into making 12Sunnyslope a welcoming & comfortable place to stay. If you don’t want to mess with parking downtown, the Blue River bus stop is only 1/3 of a mile away. We took it on July 4, & it worked out perfectly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at 12SunnySlope! The home has everything you need or want - well stocked kitchen, soft fluffy towels and bedding, flat screen TVs with access to premium sites, even an office area complete with a printer. There’s also a large hot tub on the wraparound deck that would be wonderful after a day on the slopes or hiking trails! We didn’t use the hot tub but hope to on our next visit. Dan is an amazing host, responsive within minutes and so helpful to our questions. We hoped to have a great vacation, but at 12SunnySlope we had an even better time than we could have dreamed! We will definitely be back!

The house is very cozy and spacious for 4 of use and our 2 dogs. It's only 7 min drive from town. Close enough to drive in yet having a house in the wooded area was amazing! I Cannot say enough about the owner who went above and beyond to fix a situation. Communication was great. It was VERY relaxing being out of the town and soaking in a hot tub. Our 2 dogs loved it too. Definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Location is great - close to the town of Breckenridge and the ski resorts of Breckenridge and Keystone. Hot-tub is also great. Check-in was terrible though. In lieu of having a hard copy of instructions in the unit, the owner emailed us instructions. And the instructions were outdated both re: the Wi-Fi password and contact numbers if we had problems. As we had poor cell reception and no phone service, I had to drive into town (and it was late at night) to get good enough reception to access the emailed instructions and then several more times when it turned out the instructions were outdated. For the first couple of hours we felt completely cut off from the world (in a bad way).

We loved our stay here!!! Super close to Breck where there's incredible skiing. The home itself is very cozy and has everything you may need! The hot tub was awesome as well! I would definitely stay here again!

Great cozy little place just outside of town. I prefer places like this that have everything you need and yet with the quiet being out of town affords while still being close. I'd recommend this for families.

The home was spacious enough for our group of seven. Its located just a short distance from town which made running errands or a quick trip downtown super easy. Also, I can't say enough about the property owners. Fantastic communication, and always helpful with any questions we had. If we ever find ourselves back in Breckenridge, we will certainly be staying at this home again.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunnyside Cabin. The family members recalling enjoyed the added pleasure of the hot tub after a day of skiing in beautiful Breckenridge.

Great cabin for a snowboarding trip.

The house was a short beautiful drive into town, the slopes, etc. This is our second stay and there are many new appliances, beds and tables. It is awesome! It’s is amazing what you get for a price less than a one room Residence Inn!

We really enjoyed the early winter season at 12SunnySlope. It was real close to town, easy to find and really decked out for the winter enthusiast. The views from the property and balconies and decks are beautiful. The wood burning fireplace really gave it a lot of character. This is a real skiers paradise!

Far enough out of town to avoid the July 4th crowds, but just a short drive in to get dinner and hang out. Very comfortable for our group, and the kitchen is well equipped to make all your meals at the house. We had a great time!

I just wrapped up a stay at Dan's property down the road from Breckenridge, and we all had a great time. The property was just as it appears, is very clean, had great amenities, and was an awesome home base for our ski/snowboard trip! I recommend contacting Dan to book your next stay in Breck!

we enjoyed our stay, owner was very helpful, easy and fast contact, we stayed from end of January till the beggining of Febuary and there was a lot of snow around the house! the house isn’t far from the road but you feel as if you’re living in the middle of the woods, a moose even came to visit us! beautiful view from the jacuzzi! kitchen had all the appliances needed and included dishwasher and laundry detergent pod capsules as well which was very helpful, special thanks for the restroom heater and boots driers and the bucket of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that was there for us. Everything from toilet paper, garbage bags, to even cooking foil and plastic wraps was provided for us. very greatful for the wide sharp knife variation. The storage shed was also very helpful including many tools and snow shovels . house was really clean, bathrooms, beds, which made the stay comfortable. The grill could’ve been better and there was not enough space in the closets for a long stay, most of the closets were locked shut. But the location was great with 7 ski areas all around from 10-50 min away. thank you Dan for keeping your house pet friendly so our furry baby can stay with us :) We will definetly come back some time . 12SUNNYSLOPE has a genuine European flair and was perfect for my adult family for our ski trip. We felt safe from viruses; clean and distanced.

Enjoying the hot tub as the snow fell down around, stepping in side to cozy up by the wood burning stove, and cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen, Sunny Slope was a relaxing get away for my family. Located just down the road from Breck, we could quickly get to the slopes and the shops. Thanks for the time away, Sunny Slope!

12SUNNYSLOPE is a charming alpine house in a valley between two beautiful mountain ranges. Close to town but way away from the viruses. We loved it!

12SunnySlope is just we wanted; it had everything and more, close to the gondola, private and off well maintained major roads. It was clean and comfortable, too. The hot tub was big and had jets for every part of the body and in a beautiful setting!
