What a treat this bungalow stay was for a ladies getaway! I am a full time wheelchair user and found the property to be very easy to navigate with my chair, which is always a bonus. Communication with the host was prompt and the bungalow had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Thank you! Hope to return again in the future

We enjoyed our stay at the Myers Beach Cottage. Unit A was the perfect size for my husband and me. We also had our dog and it was great to walk her next to the beach and enjoy the sites and sounds of The Strand. House rules do not allow dogs to do their business on the property, but it is only a few steps from the front door to the sidewalk out front. There is an excellent coffee shop just around the corner and a number of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The location is absolutely perfect if you like to walk and leave your car in the driveway. While there is a garage attached to the unit, it is much too small for most cars. Oceanside is a wonderful, dog friendly community and I highly recommend a visit and a stay at the Myers Beach Cottage.

This is a great place to stay for a beach get away. On a quiet street close to everything- we didn’t really need a car. The house is as exactly as described and was very comfortable. No complications with booking, checking in or out, I would stay here again anytime!

Loved our stay here. Check-in was super easy & great communication with Laney. The house was perfect for two people and it was in a nice neighborhood that was located just a block and half from the beach. The portable A/C in the bedroom made it very comfortable to sleep at night. Great little gem, we will definitely book again.

The beach house was great. VRBO site is not user friendly and I won’t be using it again.

We had a great time. The cottage was small but clean and in a marvelous location.

Laney is very communicative. My family had a great stay in Unit A, We thoroughly enjoyed the front deck for a.m. coffee, lunch or wine in the evening. The home is situated so close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We loved the vibe of Oceanside. We walked to the beach and through the neighborhood several times a day. Every local we met was so nice and engaging. We enjoyed our stay here so much we are already planning our next trip. We typically stay in Carlsbad, I had been to Oceanside, but never stayed. I was a little hesitant. After our stay, I think O'Side is our new go-to.

Quiet,Relaxing, We do not have cable TV so TV was nice a lot of channels. Really liked the price and was super close to the beach,And the bed was super soft and comfy,Has all you need for a getaway,We booked at least 6 months ahead

Great location- 2 blocks fr beach. Very modern, clean and had unexpected details in the home that we loved. A corner market and small go to coffee and food bar.

Great cottage style place with nice size kitchen and easy parking for car. The owner (Laney) was super helpful and provided clear communication. It was super clean, with special little touches that made our stay in Oceanside relaxing and easy. You can’t go wrong staying here!!

The beach access and proximity to other San Diego County sites is hard to beat, plus parking and laundry. We'll be back!

Very pleasant and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the Beach House, it accommodated us nicely. Thoroughly enjoyed the Oceanside area. We found the beach area closest to us lacked sandy beaches and the beach access near the pier was crowded and unclean. We drove to Harbor Drive as the beach there was sandy and clean. We suggest placing a Swiffer and dust pan in the unit as the floor would be easy be to keep clean. The broom available was inadequate! Dan did a nice job and was prompt to reply when we had a need. We would consider ur Beach House again and we highly recommend it to others considering visit to the Oceanside area.

It was a cute place. Perfect for a couple. The beach was a bit of the walk, but ocean is very close. It was a nice neighborhood.

First of all, one has to love the location. It is two blocks from the beach, two blocks from a coffee shop, a twelve minute walk to the bars, restaurants, and pier. It has parking for two cars - one in a garage, a nice kitchen and great seating area to hang out in. We loved having our dog and it was very convenient to be able to be able to walk him right out front. Some people mentioned the train but it really did not bother as we really didn't notice any noise. I rated it four stars for those great reasons but want to note one important shortcoming - we found the bed and linens to be sub-par. For how nice a place this was we felt the bed was small and consisted of a mattress and box spring on a bed frame. We would have appreciated something nicer and feel this is an important part of any stay. On top of that, both my wife and I did not like the pillows which were small and lumpy. Of course both of these items are personal preference but that is the one area we would have liked improvement. Overall, we had a great stay this is a place to which we will return!

We came to visit some friends who'd moved to Oceanside and loved the Myers Beach House. It was centrally located, on a quiet street, very clean and well-equipped. Our dog, Sophie, liked it too. We would stay here again!

This property was easy to get to, very, very close to my old stomping grounds. It was private and my family from California enjoyed spending time there. Will definitely stay here again.

Short family vacation. We had a great time. Cute house and very close to the beach. My kids loved staying here we plan to come back for sure.

Very fun and cozy beach bungelow.

We loved this place! We were looking for a low-key place to tune out and turn off over the holidays, and this was it. A quick walk to the ocean, a short jaunt to great coffee and a 2 minute drive to the hotspots in Oceanside. The space itself was perfect - comfortable and cozy with all the amenities. We spent a day reading while it rained, napped a ton, and Netflixed at night - starting the day with a long walk on the water with our pups (they LOVED that we were by the ocean in about 60 seconds.) The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and made us feel at home. We can't say enough great things about this experience - Laney was a dream to work with and we had all the information we needed to check in, tune out and have a great stay.

My stay here was absolutely perfect! I feel like I found a hidden gem. Property is very clean and upgraded inside! The portable AC unit was very handy. Love the walk in closet too! Nice garage space and washer and dryer. Also was nice that you could lock the screen door if you wanted to keep the front door open (even tho we felt very safe). The front yard was perfect for my pup! I even brought my own fence so the front yard was completely enclosed and it worked out perfectly. It was just me and my puppy who stayed here and we had so much fun walking all over town every day! I didn't drive my car once! We would walk one block to the boardwalk along the beach and walk all the way down to the pier, restaurants, bars, etc. Walking through the neighborhood was nice as well and I felt very safe the entire time. If you love walking to things then you will love this location! We walked so much that we started to become locals in the area as people would recognize me and my dog haha. I would definitely stay here again!! I did not want to leave! Owner is also very nice and responsive as well. Highly recommend!

We stay in Oceanside every summer. This is our first time in the Myers Beach House, but it won't be our last. We had a great time. It was in a great little neighborhood close to the beach. We stayed there with our 9 and 11 year old kids and our dog. It was perfect for us. Our friends stayed in the upstairs unit for the first couple nights and that was super fun. We mostly went to the beach every day. There brought our own beach stuff, but there was plenty in the garage including boogie boards, chairs, and a wagon. We're already looking forward to next year!
