We had a family vacation for a long weekend in June 2024. The house was fine over all, but has a very short driveway for a full size truck. In the add it states "The sofa is a queen sleeper with a good mattress." Well it was bad you could feel every spring in the mattress, which made for 3 nights of uncomfortable sleeping for a older family member that could not climb the stairs, to get a bedroom. The other beds where great, and the house was clean.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It's in a great location, close to Truckee and also not far from Palisades. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of skiing. Would stay here again!

Cozy home, close to town. Ubers/Lyfts are nearly impossible to get. Luckily, someone told us about TART, a local free transportation service.

We had a great stay with the listing photos and description being an accurate representation of the property. Close to town, waking distance to the regional park / walking trails and a brewery. The cabin itself was nicely appointed with bathrooms having been recently remodeled and the hot tub on the back deck was a huge plus. Well laid out cabin that fit our group nicely. It snowed quite a bit during our stay and the road/driveway was cleared quickly. Amy was a wonderful host and quick to respond on any questions. We would love to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at your vacation house – the 2-car garage, jacuzzi, and cozy space were perfect for a 3-day. Amy's communication and prompt responses made it a 5-star place. Thanks again! Looking forward to the next visit!

Love the personal hot tub. Somewhat walkable to Main Street truckee, but is very walkable to several restaurants. Great access to palisades and sugar bowl. Very responsive host. Steam shower is great!

Had a great ski vacation stay. The house comfortably fit 4 adults and 3 children. We appreciated the hot tub and the steam shower, and the layout is nice and open. Lots of towels and linens provided, as well as a gas fireplace that does a great job warming the house. The beds were very comfortable. The owner is very responsive and handled a kitchen sink leak quickly.
The location is great for walking into downtown Truckee (~15 minutes), as well as the river trail that's just a few minutes walking from the house. Flat driveway and 2-car garage were much appreciated, especially since snow accumulated while we were there. We didn't mind that there's no TV in the living room, but this might not be the place for you if you prefer that (there's a TV in the sitting area upstairs).

Our party of 6 adults (2 couples and 2 singles) had a great stay at Amy's house for our north Tahoe long weekend. Amy was a great host, very communicative and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, including basic supplies like vegetable oil and spices, such that we had no problem making simple meals for breakfast and dinner. The house was also well stocked with extra towels, bedding, bathroom supplies, etc. The house had plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or spend time apart. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Amy was very quick to respond and was able to check us in Asap! Thank you so much! The place was very warm and cozy and Very Very clean. I can not stress that enough. Also had a beautiful view to the mountains. Definitely recommend!!!

Lovely Place
My wife and I with our 2 little ones had a wonderful time here. We had arrived about an hour early due to the stormy snow. We contacted Amy to see if it was possible to check in early. Great house!
Very spacious property in a lovely neighborhood. Garage parking was awesome during some very icy nights. Laundry was great, new machines, comfortable beds, very clean throughout, great gas fireplace to warm up in front of and also to quick-dry socks!

We had a wonderful New Years week here. The location is perfect near downtown and super close to Northstar. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all needed spices and even coffee filters. Our hostess was always quick to reply. Thank you.

The kitchen had the most supplies of any vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. That was amazing! I’m thinking of returning to this place with my family. It would be a great place to stay with the kiddos also with the bunk beds and lots of his friendly toys and play area. The proximity to the parks and downtown is fabulous.

The house was well stocked, with plenty of towels, kitchen needs, etc. Great neighborhood, and loved seeing the neighbors congregate each evening with all the dogs to play. 2020 has been crazy! Wanted to treat the family to a different kind of Christmas, and this did not disappoint. The looks on the grandbabies faces were priceless! Amy was so easy to work with and had everything ready for our arrival. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent Stay!
We had a wonderful stay. The house has everything you could ever need, kitchen is well stocked. The balcony view was gorgeous. Hot tub & shower sauna were amazing. Very quiet, neighborhood. Amy was great to work with, would love to come back.
