Great property with arguably the best location in Watercolor. Numerous bed options make it great for a variety of traveling parties. Kitchen is well stocked and makes cooking for a large group easy. Multiple deck options allow for plenty of room to spread out and be outside. Overall a great property. Owner has local management representation and they were very quick to respond with any minor issues that popped up. Pro-tip: make sure to download both the Sonos SL2 and SL1 app to access all the speakers in the house.

The location is amazing. So close to everything. The house fit 3 families very well. We had the best time! The whole booking process and checking in process was seamless. Highly recommend!

Our family of sixteen ( 8 adults & 8 children) had a fabulous time at The Happy Place. The house is prestine, well equipped, and very spacious for a large group. The location could not be better. You can see the beach from areas of the house and walk there in 2 minutes. The pool was great. We all enjoyed it. The home owner is amazing and very responsive. You will not be disappointed if you vacation at The Happy Place. We’ll be back.

This IS our large family’s Happy Place at the beach!

The home is spectacular, very well appointed with high ceilings, moldings and beautiful wood floors, defying its rental status. The location could not be better, adjacent to the Watercolor Inn entrance. In this regard the home was as represented and all of us were pleased with that aspect. The home lacks small amenities like scissors, pencils and pens, tape and the toilet paper ran out halfway throughout our visit. While an inconvenience, certainly none of this is worthy of a ding. The reason for the loss of a star is the wifi system. Our son was conducting business via Zoom calls. The speed and reliability prohibited him from doing so in the "carriage room", the room over the garage and removed from the noise of house guests (mainly children). The reason he came on this vacation was because of this room so he could have privacy during his stay. The room he eventually selected with suitable speeds was the downstairs' bedroom, adjacent to the mudroom and modem. This necessitated displacing our daughter and husband. And the house needed to have the kids leave the home at various times during the week because of their background noise. And when present they needed to be off their mobile devices. In today's era it is unacceptable to have anything short of fast dependable wifi speeds. This is especially true when the guests are paying $24K rental for the week. The owner needs to invest in a commercial grade dependable system. Absent attention to this matter, we would be unable to return to the home.

Excellent location. Plenty of room for all the family. My family said this was one of the best vacations ever. Had a couple issues but they were quickly addressed by the property manager. We love the Watercolor and Seaside area.

Happy Place was a fantastic stay for our group of 5 couples. Can't beat the location right across from the beach, plenty of space for 10 adults to spread out. We rented a golf cart - but didn't need it at all! Book now!

Absolutely we were in heaven at this property! I really struggled with where to stay in watercolor… never being there, I now realize the areas are so close to each other. Very compact area. But this house omg…. It was perfection. We loved being so close to the beach and beach club. Easily Could run back to house for things. Every room beautiful and nice bathrooms. Just a pretty special home we loved so much. The laundry room features a laundry room/massive mud room with complimentary water bottles and a water filler which was purified. This is a class move—perhaps it should be better advertised so people waiting to check in at 5 PM (my biggest complaint, minus one star) don’t go to the store and buy a ton of nasty plastic water bottles. Luckily we just don’t do that so we were all good. It was tough to arrive and have no place to store suitcases and hang til 5pm, with no access to Our wristbands for the beach club. Getting those wrist bands upon arrival from the management company ( lnever communicated with them, only the attentive owner kimmie) would really help. Publix is an awesome grocery store and wine selection nice at liquor store. We really loved watercolor!!! Ps bring more than one sweatshirt. It’s nice in march (check forecast) but even with 70 degrees, mornings and evening are chilly. Pools are warm So that’s a huge help. Beach was gorgeous…sand is white silk and water clean and clear like Caribbean!!! Dolphins in the morning. I’d come back in a heartbeat and stay in this home against. 11 people, 4 teen girls, / sets of parents. 2 freshman, and two middle schoolers. All so happy with plenty of privacy!!

This property is centrally located to the beach, restaurants and pools. The kitchen is well equipped and the indoor furniture is warm and inviting. Our family of 15 was comfortable and all had plenty of room. The pool was lovely and there were lots of outdoor gathering spaces. The only knocks I would have are that the cushions on the main floor porch furniture and the wood on the front porch and walkway to the guest house need attention. We made our grandchildren wear shoes after one of my sons got a nasty splinter in his foot. That said, we have already booked it again and would recommend it to anyone! Wonderful, spacious home!

Large enough to accommodate a separate bedroom and bathroom for each us, plenty of common space to gather and cook, eat and relax. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need to cook gourmet meals. The location is right across the street from the beach club, which is awesome from a convenience factor (we ran back and forth to grab more sunscreen, hats, beach club passes, etc so many times!). That being said, be forewarned that the traffic on 30A and volume of walkers coming to and from the beach club can also be a little loud. Some of the check-in instructions were inaccurate and/or missing key information but the host was very responsive with answers to our questions. The mattresses were very comfortable - we would have appreciated nicer bed linens (especially pillows and comforters). All in all, this is a wonderful house with great hosts in a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

Perfect from start to finish! We loved staying here. You can’t beat the location. Walking distance to the beach and local shops. The owners were very accommodating and quick to return text messages and emails. I highly recommend. We will be back!
