This home was beautiful. The pictures are spot on. The location was simply stunning. Seabrook Island, while a bit of a drive from Charleston, was the perfect spot to unwind. While we never ate in the home (I don't want to cook on vacation!) it had everything you needed to make the perfect meal - even some staples like salt & pepper, sugar, spices... items not normally seen in rental homes. If I could have taken the couch home with me, I would have. It was so incredibly comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Now for the management company - Coastal Getaways of South Carolina were by far, the best company I have dealt with. Quick to respond to questions. Simply a pleasure to deal with. The daily free activities were also a bonus. While we only took the dolphin boat cruise, it was fun and relaxing.

The property overall was a great place to hunker down and chill for two weeks. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and spacious so we could spread out and enjoy ourselves even when we were at home. We have small kids so the division between living and sleeping quarters are important and even though it was all on one floor you could easily divide off the living room from the bedrooms which was great. We've been to Seabrook before and depending on how you structure the day we found the location perfect. You have to go off island for breakfast or coffee out and so it's an easy 9 minute drive to Freshfields (vs. 20 if you're down by the beach club) and an easy drive or good healthy walk to the beach club but the Lake House is also a close walk. There are only two complaints. First, challenges with unexpected maintenance we needed to help manage or mitigate. But once we got connected with the property management company they were quick to help resolve so we could go back to our vacation. Second, the master bed was uncomfortable for two to sleep in. While a king and plenty of space any time my husband or I moved the bed was so loud and bouncy we woke the other up. We separated for a few nights to save each other. I did just want to end on the professionalism and strong communication with the property management group CGoSC. They were so responsive with any question or issue we had, and it was clear they really cared about making sure the guests were cared for. For instance, when we arrived everything was perfect but one thing and they had maintenance there to fix it in less than 5 minutes.

Perfect long weekend getaway for our family. Less than 5 min golf cart ride to the beach. Wonderfully appointed! Easy check in!

We had a wonderful week in Seabrook Island. The Chateau was clean, well stocked, beautifully updated/decorated and spacious. It was centrally located and amenities were an easy bike ride or car ride away. We all enjoyed the Beach Club pool & beach area. It was also great to have several beach accesses (w/ boardwalks) when we wanted to just have a peaceful time at the beach. Having access to the LakeHouse pool etc….was also a plus. This was our first trip to Seabrook, but it will certainly not be our last!

The condo has been recently updated and ALL areas of the home are beautiful. There is plenty is space foe hanging out with your family and friends. Bedrooms and Bathrooms have plenty of space and storage. Screened in porch is lovely. We will definitely rent this condo again!!

We really enjoyed this rental. Fabulous view of the golf course and natural surroundings. The home was just as described and the staff were wonderful to work with! Would definitely recommend!

The house, actually a four-plex, was very comfortable for our 4-day stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with those little extras you need: paper towels, coffee filters, oil, spices, tea, salt and pepper. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms stocked with small soaps and fluffy towels. I would recommend this house.

This property is stunning; fabulous decor and very comfortable furnishings. The pictures online don’t do justice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return. The location is perfect and very convenient to all amenities.

Very nice property but was misrepresented in listing. Which caused our stay to not be as comfortable as should have been because of a change in furnishings making a queen bed absent & twin beds replaced with a trundle bed with the trundle part on rollers ( frame was sharp) it did not “pop’ up so was like sleeping on a mattress on the floor on rollers which I believe was a safety hazard. I had to be proactive to follow up on request made during the booking process. Which I’m glad I did to ensure amenity cards arrived before our departure. Same for the code for parking passes & extra keys . Because of “my follow up” our check in was a smooth process. At no time was I made aware of the change in bedding.. This is the first time in years of booking vacation houses that this ever happened. I have been promised a small amount of compensation for our inconvenience but believe it should have been a more significant amount for making our stay challenging which is not what a vacation is suppose to be about but should be relaxing. I was told I should have addressed the matter sooner. Again that would have been an issue taking a day from my family vacation causing an inconvenience and making for an unpleasant situation as well.

The open living area, well-stocked kitchen, beach decor, and comfortable bedding was perfect for our family. We loved the central location of Chateau by the Green that allowed us to bike to the Lake House and the beach. We would gladly stay here again!

It's always nice to arrive to a rental property and be pleasantly surprised. This place certainly feels like an owner-shared property. Kitchen is rather stocked for easy cooking. We had our two daughters (1 and 3) and my parents and it was a perfect size. They even had a pack-n-play, so all we did was bring a mattress and sheets - super easy. Furniture and decor is very well done and cozy. This did not feel like a typical rental property - it felt more like a 2nd home, complete with the owner's family pics on the walls and shelves. Don't be shy of the location... while it's still a drive to the Beach Club or Lakehouse, it's such a short drive to both with plenty of parking. And it's close to Freshfields Market which is nice. I know several folks talked about trimming the hedges, but I didn't see that as a problem... stand up and see golfers putting on the nearby green, sit down and you get your privacy while reading a book. Inclusion of the Amenity Card was golden... we went to the kids' pool area every day and everyone was friendly and shared the space respectfully. Food and vibe at Pelican Nest was perfect. We will definitely be back.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Chateau by the Green. The house had everything we could have asked for which allowed us to truly make ourselves at home. The owners left beach equipment for us to use, which made our time on the beach much more enjoyable. While we were on Seabrook, we enjoyed the amenity card access to the pools and fitness center as well. We have already talked about wanting to stay at this property again!

Enjoyed our stay at this unit. Clean, well decorated (couches are now off white, but very comfortable. Nice new bathrooms. Full closet in master was helpful. Smooth transaction throughout.

This was a very clean and comfortable house. The beds were comfortable, there is an apple tv in the living room and good working space in the kitchen. Although it was too hot most of the time to sit outside, there was a really nice screened in porch as well as another adjoining porch with rockers and grill. The island is beautiful and easy to get around with a car or electric vehicle (or bike if you are fit). We were in the middle of the island and about a mile and a half from the beach. The beach was beautiful, plenty of space, and usually had a nice breeze. You could either be on the beach by the ocean or right above it there were chaise lounges with umbrellas also on sand that overlooked the ocean. Right behind that was the pool. Towels were available with the amenity card for free. We did not take advantage of the Pelican's Nest restaurant which was also right there but it had a great view of the ocean as well. On the other side of the island closer to the entrance was a lake house that also had an indoor pool for exercise and an outdoor pool as well. We would recommend updated pictures on the website (furniture looks a little different) and it is only 2 bathrooms, not 2.5. We would also recommend trimming the hedges to see the golf course a little more. Also, the grill is beginning to peel on the inside cover which would drop onto food if not aware. Our complaints were very few and we loved our time at 2501 Chateau on the Green. We felt like we were at home and Nancy was always quick to respond to any questions/comments. Thank you for allowing us a wonderful vacation!
