The kitchen was large enough for our family of 11 to gather and cook together every day. The large lower level windows provided a beautiful view of the woods and morning deer sightings! Bedrooms and bathrooms were thoughtfully laid out. There was more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the bunk room. Several nights we all hung out in the game/media room. The outdoor pool and hot tub were a plus for mornings and nights at the house. Most days we enjoyed being on the beach. It was a quick and easy walk to the beach through the woods. The private beach was great and provided the family plenty of room to spread out and play. Supplied beach towels and a washer and dryer were a plus! It was wonderful to feel so close to nature at the house, yet so easy to get to local restaurants and shops.

The accommodations were even more spacious and beautiful than the pictures! The huge multi-purpose/game room was the perfect place for our kids to hang-out and play; the pool was lovely; the beach was uncrowded with soft sand and beautiful, clean Lake MI water; I could go on and on! Just wonderful!!!

This is the first rental property that I have not been disappointed in when walking through the door. It is just as the pictures portrayed. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were fabulous. The setting was beautiful and the private beach was gorgeous. Our family loved every aspect of this property.

The nearby beach is great for long walks and very wide and Sandy! Beach chairs and umbrella would be a welcome addition! It’s a 10!

The beach barn is a perfect place for a big group. The house is immaculate and the location is in the middle of what seems to be a forest while only a short walk to Lake Michigan and nearly perfect beaches. Pam was very responsive to our questions and our family enjoyed our time so much.

We are a family of three generations who travel together once a year on a beach vacation. The Beach Barn with its beautiful property served all of our needs. The surrounding property was so much fun with visits from deer, the peaceful walk to the beach and the fun pool and hot tub. The inside of the house is perfect for a large family of diversified ages. Everything we needed was right there on the property. Pam was very easy to reach and her responses were always quick. We all agreed that this vacation ranked very high on our long list of travel experiences.

Perfect place for our 9 day family reunion of 11. The Beach Barn was clean and great kitchen with everything you need. The game room was a big hit with the teens as was the pool and lake. The home exceeded our expectations and Pam was quick to respond to our inquiries. We highly recommend Lake House Foods and chef Molly who prepared an amazing meal for us including serving and clean up. A Bit of Swiss in Stevensville made an outstanding mini wedding carrot cake. Best Vrbo experience ever.

The home is beautiful inside and out- fairly easy access to gorgeous private beach- it's a bit of a walk but no problem at all for our group. Enjoyed the huge game/TV room and the bunk room was a hit with the kids. Kitchen is spacious and well- equipped. Grill worked well and the pool and spa were perfect- we really appreciated the heated pool and hot tub as our weather was cool and rainy much of the week. Having a heated pool kept that option open for our kiddos! Our host was very responsive to any questions/concerns that arose during our stay

Gorgeous, clean, and inviting inside and out. We loved the spacious bedrooms, fun game room, outdoor pool, and fire pit. The beach is a short walk away and feels very private.

Wonderful family vacation spot
Beautiful home in idyllic setting. Access to semi-private beach is an easy walk, some steps but our three year old had no trouble with it. Spotlessly clean and well supplied kitchen.

Beautiful getaway in the woods...and beach!
We had a wonderful week at the Beach Barn-what a beautiful, clean home with plenty of space for all of us hang out together and also get our own space when needed. Nestled in the trees, it was such a treat to be surrounded by greenery in every direction. Lots of deer sightings in the yard too which the (city) kids really loved! What is amazing is that in a matter of minutes, you can also be on a beautiful private beach spending countless hours swimming, playing in the sand and skipping rocks on the lake. Did I mention the big pool and hot tub too??! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Memorable Stay
We just returned home and reality after a wonderful week at the Beach Barn. We are a family of 6 adults and 4 grandchildren. The home is very comfortable and the owner very responsive from beginning to end of the process. The home is well appointed. The pool, bunk room, and rec room being just a few of the highlights of the Beach Barn. The beach is fantastic. We can recommend with out hesitation and hope to return in the future.

Great Family Week
Our family (7 adults and 6 children age 1-13) likes to get together every summer. The house was perfect for everyone--space for fun in groups large or small. The upstairs family/game room was very popular with the children. We had great weather but this room is especially good for a rainy day. Everything worked and the kitchen has lots of room for people to participate.

We had a wonderful time at the Beach Barn. Plenty of room, private, fewer bugs than we thought, and the owner (Pam) was very attentive to us. We will very likely stay there again!

The beach barn was exactly as listed or better. Perfect accommodations for our extended family meet up. The weather did not cooperate and the mosquitoes were thick!

This was our 4th year. Amazing home, locations and experience. We love the game room, kitchen and game room. It’s close to the lake. Once we get there we never leave which is just perfect for my family. I highly recommend

Wonderful Family Vacation
Spent a week with my children and grandchildren (2 and 3 years old). Loved every minute of our vacation in this well-supplied, immaculate and beautiful home. Walk to the beach was up and over the sand dune and we went every morning and rarely saw anyone else. Heated pool was great for afternoon swims. Rec room was great for kids to run and tumble. Hope to visit again next year!

Great family get away
The house was beautiful. Enough room for multiple families. Perfect setting in the woods and a path leading to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach. Pool and hot tub were awesome and cleaned twice a week. Bring your own beach chairs and umbrella, but everything else was there!

Family Reunion at Beach Barn
If you are looking for a place to look out over Lake Michigan, this is not the place. Otherwise we could not have asked for a better place to reunite family from different states. There was plenty to keep adults and littles occupied from the beach to the pool to the hot tub outdoors and the ping pong table, arcade game, books, TVs, and nooks to get away from others. The kitchen was amazingly supplied with quality appliances and utensils for our group of 14 to use for cooking and eating in spite of a variety of diets. And at the end of the day, sleeping arrangements were comfy with individual bathrooms attached to all but the bunk room.
This has been a vacation to remember.

A wonderful week at the Michigan Beach Barn
We had a wonderful week at the Michigan Beach Barn! Given the current climate this house makes for the perfect getaway, as the pool and the beach provided more than enough entertainment for the week. The pool provided hours of fun, was clean and well kept. We also felt lucky to have access to the beach, as so many areas along the IN/MI coast do not have that luxury given the high lake water levels. The beach was private and quiet.
Overall, the house was extremely clean and well appointed. The week could not have gone smoother. We didn't need or want for anything!

Needs a little bit of TLC in the yard and path to the lake, but overall, I would rent this property again tomorrow...very large and there are separate areas for different groups of people to hang out. Both outside and inside. Terrific home!
