We would stay there again. The host was very accommodating and made sure the cabin was cool when we arrived. Especially since the temperature outside was very hot . The location was a short drive to Bass Lake. We used the bbq for delicious steak dinners. We totally enjoyed our 30th anniversary there. It was nice to be in such a cute & unique cabin!! Thank you

Sharon and Mike have an awesome property just on the edge of town that gives the feeling of being in the wilderness, but the convenience of being close to shops and restaurants. It is just as cozy as the pictures show. It is also very secure and I felt incredibly safe as a solo traveler. Sharon left great instructions on check in and check out procedures as well as many suggestions on what to do in the area. I ended up visiting Bass Lake, Yosemite, and Sequoia and King's Canyon during my stay. The latter two are a bit of a haul from Oakhurst, but so worth it. If you are looking for a comfy place to stay while exploring the wilderness, this is the place for you!

All was first class. The loft was nice but not for those with limited agility. However the owners are very open about this issue.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Super cute place. Well taken care of and had everything we would need. Loved the benefits of being close to Oakhurst but feeling like we were in the woods. Great launching point for our quick trip to Yosemite.

The Tiny cottage was "PERFECT!" It was beautiful and the hostess thought of "EVERYTHING!" to make it feel like home! My Wife and I spent our 30th anniversary there! We Loved it. The Hostess even helped me surprise my Wife with flowers in the cottage when we arrived. I would not only recommend this to everyone, but I would stay there if possible the next time we head out that way. Perfect experience! Would highly recommend if visiting Yosemite National park. It is close to the south entrance to the Park and close to Bass lake.

This cute A-frame was a great find. It was actually more spacious then the pictures made it seem, and the small hot water tank still allowed for my partner and I to each take 10 min showers. The only downside is not having an oven or stovetop, but we made do with the microwave and outdoor grill. As a note for anyone looking to explore Yosemite, this cottage is a 30 minute winding drive from the park, however once you get into the park you have to drive another hour to get to the valley floor.

Such a cute little cabin! Perfect for our 2 night stay visiting Yosemite. Very clean and tidy. Had a grill outside which we used for making dinner one night. Went to lake bass the first day which we made a fun beach day out of (make sure you have $10 cash for visiting fee). Yosemite not that far at all....would highly recommended this VRBO if going there. Very intimate perfect spot for a couples retreat :)

This place was surprisingly spacious. A great price considering location and other options. Secluded and good food and stores in the area.

We stayed for two nights and it was the perfect place to finish our trips each day. Fantastic location, and extremely well maintained.

My husband and I came here for a quick getaway to Yosemite National Park and this place was absolutely perfect. It’s pretty small so I would recommend having more than 2 people stay here. But it’s super cute, off the beaten path and very private. The owners were friendly and responsive as well!

Cute little place just off the main road in Oakhurst (20 minutes to Yosemite!). The host Sharon was very thorough with her instructions & thought of everything.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. A tiny, cute home that well suited our requirements. It is about 1.5 hours from the Yosemite valley which is good. Loved our stay.

My husband and I stayed at the charming gingerbread house during our trip to Yosemite last year. The cabin is exactly as advertised and an easy 60-90 minutes from Yosemite, depending where in the park you’re going. It was great to come back to this comfy and quiet spot after a long day of hiking.

Great little cabin situated close to Yosemite National Park. When we arrived we were greeted by Mike who pointed us in the direction of the cabin. Once we got inside there was multiple pamphlets with hiking information as well as a personalized pamphlet with great local information. We used this as our home base while exploring Yosemite. It’s about a half hour from the south entrance to the park which provides quick access to the Mariposa Grove and about 75 minutes or so to Yosemite Valley. Two grocery stores a few minutes away from the cabin and multiple gas stations to fill up after your trek into the park. If your looking for a change of pace from hotel rooms I highly recommend staying here, great place for a couple to stay to enjoy the National Park.

This is a charming cabin in a fantastic location; just the few days "get-away" I needed. It's exceptionally clean and well-maintained with lots of personalized touches. The managers are quite lovely and communicative.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute little A-frame! It was the perfect location and in a quiet neighborhood. We’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a pace to stay in that area!

Close to Yosemite and much more, like a shopping day in mariposa or a day on bass lake. Nice area

Great weekend away to visit Yosemite with my daughter.

It was a great time at the “gingerbread house”. Had all of the amenities we needed for a weekend stay and the bed was comfortable too. Sharon left us great directions and was communicative throughout. Appreciated the local restaurant recommendations as well as Yosemite trail info. 5/5

Yes, the house was small but it was perfect for the two of us. It is very charming and was also very comfortable. We used the house as ground zero for our first trip to Yosemite Park. The house is approximately eighteen miles from the south entrance to the park which makes for easy access. During our stay we would leave early morning for the park and return to the house in the evening to "recharge" for our next adventure. We used the grill and microwave to make some pretty impressive meals. The lack of a stove actually made clean up easier for this busy couple. The large coffee maker also helped a lot in the early morning. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of cooking utensils, dishes, and a small fridge that was more than sufficient for us. All linens and towels were also provided, the shower was adequate for us, and the bed in the loft was very comfortable, we both slept well. Sharon and Mike also provide a lot of maps, literature, and brochures about Yosemite Park, local restaraunts, and other interesting activities in the area. We used them extensively while planning for our days out and about. An interesting note, we did not realize that they currently have two rentals on the property, and a third one about to be completed. They are relatively small but very close to each other. They could provide a great destination for couples traveling together, our even for a family vacation that would enable you to share social time together outside on the patio, then allow you to retreat to your own private space. We will definitely use the Tiny House again when we return to visit Yosemite in the future. Many Thank's to Sharon and Mike. J & D

We enjoyed our first Tiny House experience. The surroundings were very relaxing after long days of driving and sight seeing. If back in the area, we would look into staying here again.

Loved the peacefulness of the location everything was perfect, wished we had more time there. My favorite was meeting Sarah and getting to give her an apple and talk to her Thanks for all the special touches.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yosemite suite retreat. Everything went smoothly and Sharon was great to work with. The only reason for a 4 star review and not a 5 was the inability to relax in a nice warm bath after a long day of hiking because the water heater is small. If your not the type of person to enjoy a bath, I definitely recommend this tiny house.
