I've never written a review like this and I've stayed at a lot of beach rentals and the experiences were perfectly pleasant. First, the front door can't be secured from the inside, which means that a child can open it during the night and just leave. It only locks from the outside. There's a chain but the door opens wide enough for a small child to slip through. I messaged Robert about this and he didn't reply. Later he said the door is perfectly fine. We had to push a nightstand in front of it at night to feel remotely comfortable sleeping. The next day the AC was only cooling the place to 78. Since Robert hadn't answered my last message, I called VRBO. They opened a case and said to contact Robert. Later, Robert would become very angry that I told VRBO and he would refuse to communicate further. Meanwhile, I have never encountered this situation and that's what VRBO told me to do. The forecast was supposed to be 103 the next day (Labor Day) so we felt that we had to basically flee for the health of my children. Our baby had already thrown up from the heat but it was tolerable enough to stay one more night. Robert later messaged me to say that the technician DID find a problem and the condenser was rusted. He said the AC wouldn't have worked well enough. He felt bad and asked what compensation I wanted. Then he wrote back saying he only offered that before he knew I called VRBO. I booked 7 nights and stayed 2.

Well maintained easy access to beach and boardwalk. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided Would definitely recommend

We had a great time during our stay in Ocean City! This property is really nice and well kept. It's location is pretty unbeatable with it being right on Asbury which makes for a quick walk to the shops and 2 blocks to the boardwalk. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to sleep 6 and you won't even have to drive for beach/boardwalk/restaurants if you didn't want to. The garage also had everything you need for a beach day complete with boogie boards, 6+ chairs, a wagon to drag it all around, and sand toys. I would definitely rent here again!

The condo was beautiful and very clean! Well supplied with kitchen necessities! Easy 3 blocks to beach and boardwalk! Asbury is a lovely street with restaurants and shopping. The two car off street parking was a real plus! Robert and Carrol were wonderful to work with!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean when we arrived and we love how close it is to everything. We would definitely like to stay again sometime.

Took my daughter for a weekend getaway for her birthday. We had a great time. The location of the house was perfect walking distance to everything. The owners were great with communicating everything. Would definitely go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The location is superb. The accommodations are extremely comfortable—including comfortable beds and sofas. Although we didn’t do much cooking, the kitchen were well stocked for our needs The deck was a wonderful place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and to relax after a day around town or in the beach. Communication with owner prior to arrival was very smooth and the check in process very easy. I would love to stay at this property again!!!

Close proximity to everything including nice places to eat out.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property in OC. It was clean, close to everything, and allowed for a memorable family vacation. I would highly recommend staying here as the owners were easy to work with and communicated everything we needed to ensure a positive stay.

Great place on the top floor. Easy walk to the beach, boardwalk and shops.

There were definitely some pros of our stay: the Wi-Fi worked well, spacious kitchen and living room area, bathrooms and kitchen counter surfaces were clean, and it was in a great location close to the beach and restaurants/shops on Asbury. However, we found the beds to be extremely soft and uncomfortable, which is definitely a matter of preference. The home overall could also be cleaner. We moved the bed slightly to set up an air mattress and the floor and under the bed in the bedroom was quite dusty/sandy and didn’t appear to have been swept. I also spilled some water on the kitchen floor and my towel was dirty when I wiped it up. I would stay again if the beds were updated and the house was cleaned more thoroughly.

Location was perfect, we walked everywhere. Hosts were responsive and helpful. This was a perfect spot for a relaxing and fun week for kids, parents, and grandparents.

The house is in a great location, just a few blocks from the boardwalk and close to many restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed eating dinners on the balcony and enjoying the view. The hosts were very easy to work with and very friendly.

Spent a week in OCNJ with my wife and daughters. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Central to many attractions on the boardwalk. I would stay again

Comfortable and Clean

We loved our stay here. Nice property and great location.

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid-May and really enjoyed it. So close to amenities, the downtown area, and the boardwalk/beach. Coordinating our stay with Robert and Chris was so easy, The place was very clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable (which is key to enjoying your time). We enjoyed the deck out front immensely. The proximity to restaurants and everything Ocean City offers was superb. We'd definitely stay again.

We could not have been happier with our stay! The location from the boardwalk and Main Street was perfect and allowed us to walk everywhere, even being 81/2 months pregnant! Not to mention, it’s right next to a donut shop.. need I say more?? There were even some toys/games left for guests which my toddler loved playing with. Clean, perfect size and cozy. We had a wonderful little family vacation and would highly recommend to everyone!

We had such a great time staying at this property. The boardwalk was so close by with so many great places for fun treats. Host was super communicative and process was smooth.

Everything was so nice. Loved the vibes as soon as we arrived. Nice quiet neighborhood and people were just so friendly. Short walk to the boardwalk. House had everything we needed. Only thing that made me unhappy was the bad weather we got stuck with pretty much our whole stay but thats out of anyone's control. Overall I recommend staying in this home. Look forward to coming back.

The rental is very comfortable and clean. It felt so bright and airy with the vaulted ceiling, and there was plenty of space for us. We loved the location- it was a quick walk to the boardwalk and beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently located within walking distance to everything, quiet, and very relaxing

The place is in a great location. About 3 1/2 blocks to the beach. The owner provides a wagon for your use and beach chairs. (that was awesome.) There was not a sofa bed even though that was stated in the contract. We were a little disappointed about that. It could be a little cleaner , specifically: The shower curtain liner in the Master bath needs to be changed (mildewed), there was food (spaghetti) in the kitchen trash can and there was caked on food on quite a few dinner plates, in the cabinet. .. Overall, we really had a good time. We enjoyed the deck off of the family room each evening.

The hosts were very responsive throughout the rental process. The beds are comfortable, the apartment is well equipped and the trip to the beach is an easy walk with the help of the provided beach cart.

The house was perfect size for a family of 5 with 3 children. Located steps away from 2 great breakfast spots and an ice cream parlor. We enjoyed it!
