We came here for for a family vacation and this beautiful place did not disappoint! The pictures do not do it justice. The property and home is very well maintained and simply gorgeous! We would definitely want to go back. Everything was perfect!

This place was perfect for my family that consisted of 5 kids (ages 7-14) and 8 adults. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, horseshoe game, pond, and trail on the property. We also enjoyed meals/games in the kitchen and admired the beautiful views from the deck. The drive to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove was about 1 hour, which we didn’t mind. I would absolutely rent this property again and will be recommending it to my friends. My family and I absolutely loved it! Jeff made renting this property easy and was very responsive. Our family planned a trip to Yosemite and this place seemed close enough to make the trip easy. Big mistake. We did not want to leave this house and property. There is a pool and hot tub, hiking trails, buildings to explore, a lake, a tree house with stunning views, deer that come drink from the lake. We had coffee every morning just staring out in awe of the beautiful surroundings. Wine in the evenings after a game of kickball and visiting the Sequoias or the waterfalls. The house is beautiful. Even the door handles are something special. Everything was provided and thought of. There was absolutely no need to bother the owner since there were labels everywhere to let you know what to do. I can't wait to visit this place again. Thank you so much Jeff, for making this place available for us. There was no stress and we felt our family get closer here. Thank you.

For the range of ages of our family (4 -74), we discovered the perfect family-style environment. Everyone had their own bed (very important); the kitchen was opened and well suited for each “Committee” to either cook or clean up; there was more than enough places to eat including in and outdoors. The property has so much to offer from horse shoes, hiking trails, tree house, swimming, hot tub. Groceries we’re all found in the local supermarket (approximately 15 miles away). Yosemite National Park and the surrounding areas were a major draw for our family. While my husband and I had been there before, we were successful in introducing them to a real “Slice of Heaven”! We are so grateful to Jeff, our host, for supporting our questions and giving us guidance from the beginning. Thank you Jeff for sharing this treasure with our family. We are all about creating memories together and you helped us realize that success!

2 families stayed here- an amazing time! Views were stunning, cup of tea overlooking the pond was ideal in the morning. Pirate ship and pool with a view were a hit. Some small hikes around the property- spotted deer, turtle many squirrels & a fox. Would love to return! Thank you

This was a great home for our family get away. The property is gorgeous and everyone (ages 7-55) had a wonderful time. We all enjoyed the expansive deck, pool, and hot tub. It was a great home to come back to after a long day in Yosemite. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to immerse into the wild. Very spacious bedrooms to sleep. Deck is the real Highlight along with the treehouse for a sunrise view. Few suggestions to the manager: Install security cameras. It is an isolated place and security is very important Poolside bedroom doesn’t have a door lock. Not safe to leave bags there when we step out Dishwasher is a must. Supersized it was not there in the kitchen

We really enjoyed the property and all the little touches to make it family and group friendly. Note to future visitors that there are a lot of things already in the kitchen like salt, pepper, plastic bags, etc, so check before you shop. I would highly recommend the property. Jeff was also very responsive to questions and needs during or stay.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to stay at this unique and awesome property. The kids (ages 4-14) all loved it and stayed outdoors the entire time playing, biking, hiking, swimming, exploring the barns, playing horseshoes, swimming, and of course hanging out in the pirate ship. They even went on night walks to stargaze at the treehouse. The house was very, very clean and comfortable. The outdoor decks were amazing, I loved drinking my coffee on top of the rock looking over the pond. The screened in porch with grill (with fan) and picnic table was fantastic too. We highly recommend this house and property!

We had an amazing vacation at Jeff's property, and are already planning our return visit. The vacation home had incredible variety; our kids rotated from the pool, to the pirate ship, to the badminton court, to the arcade. Jeff had thoughtful touches throughout the property - umbrellas for shade, reclining chairs and resting nooks, and well marked paths. Jeff was extremely accessible and helpful, and answered our questions promptly and generously We highly recommend Jeff's home to anyone wanting time in a gorgeous setting with a twist of fun and play.

So much to see and do on this property. We saw deer every day. Foxes twice. Wild turkeys. And the resident turtle in the pond. We set up a scavenger hunt for the two kids. They had so much fun looking for clues around this massive property. The water cannon was so much fun! The kids spent endless hours on the pirate ship. Massive deck space and spots to sit and relax. Nice pool and hot tub. Don't miss the treehouse. Fun for adults and kids. We saw a full moon rise. Best view of stars and the night sky. Better than expected. We'll be back!

For our situation this was the best place we’ve stayed. We have two families with kids ranging from 8-21 (maybe not kids). And this place has something for everyone. The descriptions and pics are spot on but even better than described. Everything was clean and in working order. So many things to explore and do we almost didn’t need to go to Yosemite during the day. Thanks for sharing this awesome place.

We would not hesitate to recommend this unique and wonderful property. The kids loved the boulders, the waterfall, the pond stocked with fish, the visiting deer and squirrels, and of course, the pirate ship - complete with pirate and parrot skeletons, stocked treasure chest and water cannon that sprayed water about 300 feet. The pool house comes with an arcade game (pacman?) and the kids loved hanging out in the loft overlooking the pool and the pond. There were so many thoughtful details. The "treehouse" had camping chairs and an umbrella to provide shade. The bbq area is enclosed with refrigerator, sink and picnic table so you can enjoy bug-free meals. The kitchen is well-stocked with pans, cutlery, etc - all in good condition. The house was well-stocked with board games, badminton (no net) and horse shoes. The property is fenced and the trails are clear and well-marked so we let the kids explore. We followed the advice of another guest and created a scavenger hunt around the property for the kids. The property has many separate spaces so everyone could spread out and find peace and quiet if they wanted to have some time to themselves. The fans and air conditioning kept the house cool and there were light breezes in the afternoons on the deck so we were comfortable despite temperatures in the 90s. The kids enjoyed cooling off in the pool. Wifi was fine and we could do 2 sometimes 3 video calls at the same time upstairs in the main house. I was able to do a video call on the deck. Jeff patiently answered all of our questions and was very responsive. He went out of his way to try to accommodate us. Thanks Jeff - it was a wonderful stay

We had a great time! The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of cups, plates, cook wear, plastic baggies. As well as some spices and cooking oil. The bedrooms were clean and had nice bedding. The laundry baskets in each room were great especially picking up after 3 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to have personal space. 5 adults and my 8, 6 and 2 year old. The window AC units worked great, we were all nice and cool inside on a 90*+ day. The pool and hot tub were great as well as the deck surrounding them. We spent a lot of time hanging out there. The pirate ship and water cannon were super fun, the kids LOVED IT! There were deer in the yard multiple times every day and tons of squirrels, lizards, hawks and other birds. Make sure to bring tennis shoes I forgot and only brought flip flops so I didn't go hiking. Everyone else said the treehouse was pretty cool. A great place for families and large groups. It was really nice that there weren't too many things for my 2 year old to get into or break. We only moved the cleaners and soap out from under the kitchen sink and let him loose. Other reviews said wifi was an issue, but it worked fine everywhere except inside the pool house. The owner Jeff was super quick to respond to all questions I had. We will definitely stay here again!

Chose this lovely property as a jumping off point for Yosemite for three familes kids ages 11-7. Everyone throughly enjoyed the home and property. One of the best stocked kitchens I have ever had at a vrbo. Beds were comfortable, pool was an awesome amenity. It was easy to take a day and just hang out at the property instead of going into Yosemite. So much to do, parents take the time to walk around the property and outbuildings and make a scavenger hunt for the kids, plenty of quirky and interesting things to find in the outbuildings and on the property. Our kids spent an hour scavenger hunting. Owner was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. House was clean and well appointed, nice to have washer and dryer there, didn't have to pack as much. Highly recommend this home.

We had 11 folks in our family and it was good to have a little separation at the end of the day. We all get along but it was just nice to have our own space - except for the kids who wanted to stay together - and this does it. We had a good stay.

We’ve visited the property for 4 night with 2 families, 10 people total. We had a blast! The property and around it were very clean and well organized. Our kids had a great time playing in the pool, pond and the pirate ship (that water cannon is fun!). We drove to Yosemite for a day hike and it took ~45 minutes to get there. We would love to come back here in the future.

This was our second stay at this wonderful cabin. It’s a perfect place to get away & enjoy nature. The cabin has everything you could ever need, you almost don’t want to go anywhere else. The owners are always so friendly & accommodating. We hope to visit many more times in the future. Thank you for so many wonderful memories on your beautiful property.

This house was one of our favorite rentals due to all of the great amenities! The house itself is basic but adequate. We had a group of 6 adults and 6 kids (ranging in age from 6-73) and everyone had plenty of space. We used the main house bedrooms, basement suite and pool house. All areas have window air conditioning units so the house stayed reasonably cool, despite the heat while we visited. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub after a morning of hiking at Yosemite. We also enjoyed the pirate ship, horse shoes, basketball game, arcade games, views of the pond, watching the deer which seem to live nearby, and short trails to the lookout/tree house. The only issue we encountered was the lack of WiFi. Though we like to “disconnect” during vacations, a few adults had to occasionally answer work emails, which required late night trips into town to get adequate internet access. That being said, this house offers great amenities inside and out. We also appreciated how well equipped the kitchen is and extras like sandwich bags, bug spray, bandaids and flashlights. Expect a minimum drive of one hour to any attraction at Yosemite. We left the house at 6/6:30am every morning to avoid the crowds and ensure parking at trailheads. If you are looking for a place to have fun and relax after visiting Yosemite, this is your place! Our kids wanted to get back as soon as possible every day so they could enjoy the pool and games. In fact, they never wanted to leave in the evening so we ended up grilling out at the house for dinner most nights. It was a great way to celebrate my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Don’t hesitate to book this wonderful property:)

We LOVED this getaway property! The setting - with the ponds, trails, and expansive yard nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mts- was beautiful, comfortable, and just right for our east coast relatives to vacation with our west coast relatives. Yosemite National Park provided scenic hikes, and then we returned to the cabins for relaxing around the pool, hot tub, deck, and ponds. There was plenty for the kids to do and the three separate living areas worked perfectly for our three families. Saying it is a 3 bedroom property is selling this place short since there are 3 bedrooms in the main cabin, but another sleeping area and bathroom in the downstairs, and a third sleeping area and bathroom in the pool house. We appreciated the many thoughtful details the owner had added to make our stay comfortable. He was also quickly responsive to our questions. The only thing you should be aware of is that there is no internet even though it is listed in the description. There is no dial up, plug in, or wifi connection. Most of the time there was no cell phone reception, although usually a text could get through if you stand on the deck near the pool house. I don't care at all about social media or games, but it was a problem to look up travel info or stay in touch with those at home- in our case, a pregnant daughter, aging parents, and any petsitters or house sitters. The reception was better in Mariposa or even in Yosemite Park! We would definitely book this property again, and we thank the owner for sharing this little piece of heaven with us!

This is a very beautiful property, well maintained with everything imaginable provided for a wonderful stay. It truly deserves 5 stars. Our family of 5 adults and 2 children had a great stay over Labor Day Weekend. Lots to see and do at the house and in the immediate area. Yosemite is an easy drive from the property but you don’t have to leave the house to have a great time!!

My husband, our two children (ages 3 1/2 and 7), a family friend, and I all stayed at Jeff's incredible property. We had a blast! The property is even more stunning in person. My family stayed in the main house and were very comfortable. Spacious, light filled bedrooms. Cozy living space with fireplace, tv, and plush seating. The kitchen has a nice table with plenty of space for all. We loved playing Twister out on the deck! The pool is very clean and looks out toward the yard. We all loved taking a dip in the pool, after a long day in Yosemite, and then getting into the hot tub. Our friend stayed in the house by the pool. He and the kids loved playing on the video game table. Galaga and Pac Man! Yes!! We all loved exploring the property's trails, finding the tree house, seeing wild turkeys and deer, climbing the boulders, playing Pirates in the pirate ship, searching for treasure...endless list of fun activities for all ages. STAY HERE, you'll have a blast!

Despite The Ferguson Fire, we had a wonderful time. The mornings were smoky, however, the afternoon and evenings mostly showed clear, blue skies. The firefighters are doing an exceptional job. The people in Mariposa were so friendly. The shops were unique. We visited the brewery and had a great lunch. We spent hours in the hot tub, pool, hiking to the treehouse and mornings drinking our coffee by the pond. We had three private areas so each family enjoyed their own space. All of us want to thank Jeff for his quick responses and sharing his property with us.

Our family trip was wonderful, the kids had a blast and were able to enjoy nature. Thank Mr. Bohen you have a beautiful property and we felt at home.

What a fantastic place to have a family vacation. We had 16 people and three generations of family with plenty of room for everyone. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The property is amazing. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and beautiful pond. We looked forward to the waterfall coming on each day at 4:30. The hiking trails are lovely and the view from the treehouse is beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back to this piece of paradise !

We have rented many a vacation house throughout the years and this one is without a doubt the best EVER!!! The property is amazing and the house and additional sleeping areas are perfect! I would recommend this house to any one. Just in case you didn’t guess this from my review I think the house is the perfect vacation home.

This house was amazingly set up. We had 4 adults and 4 young children with us (2.5, 4, 5 and 5.5). There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved exploring the pirate ship and running around outside. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the pool.
