This property has been redone since the hurricane & turned out very nice! It is at a great location, not far from the beach or town square. You can also walk to many restaurants. The house was spacious and accommodating for the 10 people we had there. Plenty of fridge options, large ice maker, 2 washers & dryers. The Blackstone grill also was nice. It was cooler when we stayed there, so we used the hot tub more than the pool. Overall, we would definitely pick this house again to stay at. Angie was more than helpful as we were there & if we needed anything, she had an answer quickly!

Angie was great in correspondence! Her place was amazing. From the back dock we saw Dolphins, Manatees, Sting Ray, Stone and Blue Crabs and had quite a few Iguanas visiting us. Loved the pool and Tiki Bar. We had all my Brothers and Sister and there was plenty of room for everyone! Short distance to the Beach and Shopping! Only draw back is there is A LOT of stairs and being an older group that was a killer! But it was not hard to make the best of it and enjoy our beautiful home away from home!

Need to say my brother has had vacation properties for years so I have high expectations when I rent a place. Chose this property because of having a pool and hot tub as well as the location since we didn't want to rent vehicles for our group of 12. We really enjoyed our stay and the house had what we needed. But there were several issues: 1. One bedroom was to have a king bed and a pullout/futon but instead just had a loveseat. The pullout couch was in the cove of the hallway. The patio door from bedroom was blocked by an outdoor sectional and if the couch was pulled out to accommodate a guest, the path to the bathroom would have been blocked. My travel mate had to sleep on the loveseat so she wasn't by herself in cove or in downstairs living room that had an additional pullout sofa. 2. There were ashtrays everywhere and NONE had been cleaned of ashes and most still had cigarette butts in them. (If this minor cleaning job was not done, it made you wonder how good of a cleaning job was done on the rest of the house. Dirty socks in mouth of totem pole by pool and a doll was under the sofa in living room. :( 3. Realize these properties are used and abused by disrespectful guest ( and it was the end of the summer season) but there many minor repairs and touchups needed around the property. 4. Had issues with the washers and dryers working properly 5. Toilets in two bathrooms ran continuously or didn't flush correctly. (We tried to remedy so the water bill wasn't sky high.) What we liked about the property: 1. Pool & Hot tub 2. Rooftop to enjoy the sunrises 3. Location just a block from beach and a few to the pier, restaurants and shops. 4. Plenty of bedrooms so our group of 12 ladies could enjoy our time together 5.Location on lagoon--we had several iguanas and an egret visit us. Didn't see any manatee or dolphin as might have. 6. The extra shower in bathroom by pool was utilized since there were 12 of us. 7. Huge shower in upstairs bathroom with two HUGE shower heads and the long bathroom counter so many of us could get ready at one time.8. We didn't utilize the Tiki Bar by the pool but it would be great if you were the party crowd. 8. Host was very helpful with any of my questions or concerns.

Great for family vacation

The property was very clean, had a great location (4 minute walk to the beach), and had great space. The outside was amazing! The pool was clean, the hot tub was clean and functional, and the tiki hut was a great escape from the sun. We truly had a great time! As with most homes, we had a couple of hiccups during our stay and Angie was great to work with, responded quickly and did what she could under the circumstances. Angie was the best host we have had in our 5 homes that we have stayed at!

We stayed a few weeks in June 2022 and had a great time. We had plenty of room for our extended families. The pool is great for sitting and reading as well as for the kids to play. The bar area outside was a hit with the kids to make smoothies. The refrigerator and ice maker out there were very convenient. Everyone had a blast with the pool table in the living room, although it made finding a seat a little more difficult. However, several of us just found a seat on one of the balconies and enjoyed the view. The location to the beach and downtown couldn’t be more ideal. This is one of the best locations we have stayed at in Ft Myers. It was so nice to be able to let the teens walk down for ice cream in the evening and not have to pile in the car. Overall, you won’t be disappointed.

The outdoor space, bar, pool and hot-tub very clean with lots of seating and activities. Gas fire pit and excellent cooking equipment were fun at night. Has 2 ice machines. Not the little things in a refrigerator, real ice machines at the bar and in kitchen. We had ice 24/7 and could have supplied a fishing boat. In the canal we saw a manatee, iguana , dozens of mullet. Also an egret who claimed his name was Louie and that he had no regret being an egret. Big clean roomy house and Angie treated like we were her personal guests. Thanks for a great experience.

The perfect spot in Fort Myers Beach and the perfect house for a large family! There's really nothing to complain about this location and Angie is awesome to work with. We have already booked for next year!

We had 9 people staying in the property, 2 toddlers and 7 adults (two are college kids). Everyone had more than enough space and a bedroom. The pool / tiki bar was the central hub of this stay, and it was so nice because we did not have to have things planned out. The beach is a 2 min walk. They have EVERYTHING you need for a fun beach trip, ALL of the pool toys, EVERYTHING that you need for small children. We will stay here every time we come back to the beach. Great house!

I can’t say enough about how great this property is! We wanted to re-book 5 minutes after walking in. The location is incredible, the size or the place, the pool area, everything was just amazing. Angie was a fantastic host and was very responsive to questions. Highly recommend this A+ property and host!

Our family from Michigan had an awesome time! Pool was great for our 3 year old granddaughter who learned to swim like the Manatee we spotted in the canal. Chef Michael cooked us up a surf and turf dinner to perfection and the seafood tower at Nervous Nellies was as good as the boat show we enjoyed on the intercoastal. The accommodations were great and with everything within walking distance of this piece of paradise there was no need for a car. We absolutely loved our vacation because of location of this house. Can walk right to Times Square… right to the beach or take the tram. House was a good size for our three families. Angie was fantastic. I had to contact her about a beeping noise from a low battery on their alarm system… she called me immediately to resolve the problem. We really loved this house and wish we could book it again but it seems like the secret is out! Tiki bar was fun… we even saw a dolphin in the water way behind the house.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the outdoor space and the proximity to everything!! The kids loved being able to walk across the street to the beach and to Kilwin’s ever night for ice cream. And I’m pretty sure we’re going to need to invest in a pool table for our teenage son. He loved it!! Thanks for your hospitality and for the coffee bean grinder!!

This 5 bedroom house is on three levels with 2or 3 kitchens. No en-suites. We were there during spring break and it was not quiet—awoken most nights as bars closed. Constant country western songs all day from neighbors across the canal. 5 min from beach and can walk to restrauants and bars. Tiki bar was fun and grandsons liked pool and hot tub. Pool table also nice for family games.

We travelled with our adult children - a total of 4 couples and 1 infant. There was very ample room for everyone. Most of our time was spent outdoors and the pool/hot tub/tiki bar area and decks were all very nice. The location is very convenient to Times Square and the beach. There were enough chairs and umbrellas for us to use at the beach along with a wagon to haul it there. We did use the grill and it worked well. We were met by the owners at check-in and had any and all questions answered. They were great! We had a great stay.

Great place to stay and great location! Family of 11, we had plenty of room! Access to pool & jacuzzi was great for our little ones! Within 2 blocks to walk to beach and easy walking to restaurants and shops!

Our stay at the Dahl House was perfect! Angie is a wonderful host, always available for questions and made check in seamless. The house is well appointed with everything we needed for a large family from ages 8 to 72. Kids swam in pool every day/night and we all enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and tiki bar. A great space for relaxing and having fun and plenty of room to spread out. The location couldn’t be better. Right across the street to the beach and we could walk easily to all the shops and restaurants. Quick car ride to larger stores to stock up on essentials for our stay. I rented this home with family. 9 adults and a 10 year old. Beautiful home, worked great for our time there. Pool and hot tub were the hang out spots. Grocery delivery was available, nightlife and shops were all within walking distance, or easily accessible by using the tram.. highly recommend!!

This property is perfect for a family or group of friends to have an awesome vacation...everything you could hope to have at your disposal household wise including plenty of pool, beach & bath towels and a pool, hot tub, tiki bar and lots of deck seating located on a canal where we spotted a dolphin, an otter, a manatee and various smaller marine life. And did I mention the close proximity to a Public Beach access...and very easy to communicate w/owner and prompt response...so thankful to the Dahl family for sharing their piece of paradise ...

Our Family Holiday Vaca. Was wonderful. This Home away from Home is absolutely PERFECT! Such a perfect house and location for our family. The kids loved fishing in the bay and the beach was just across the road. They had everything we needed when we arrived. Coolers, beach chairs, wagon, and beach toys. Even puddle jumpers for the little ones. It was a perfect week! Thanks Angie!!

We had 10 adult family members stay for a week. The location was perfect. The house had plenty of space and amenities for all of us to enjoy. The property owner was great with communication. I am sure we will be back.

The house was perfect for our multiple-family vacation. Angie was excellent to communicate with, the hot tub & pool was amazing, and the house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was exactly what we wanted! Amazing vacation house!!!

This house is HUGE and offered plenty of space for my family. We spent the majority of our time in the pool area. With a bar, tv. Stereo system, and plenty of lounging areas, who could ask for more!!

This house really has everything for an amazing vacation. The pool, hot tub and tiki bar was so much fun and we used it every day. The house is truly in the best location, blocks to Time Square and around the corner from the beach. The house has plenty of room for everyone with good size bedrooms all around. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the amenities that were provide when we first arrived, coffee, TP, hand soap, etc. If I had to say something negative it would be that a few things could use updating, comforters, cornhole set for sure but all in all this house is perfect. We definitely enjoyed our time there and I would highly recommend this house to any group or large family looking for the perfect vacation spot.
