Wonderful place. Has ev erything and the veranda is fabulous! Beach right out front is gorgeous.

We really enjoyed the vacation stay. View was beautiful with beach just outside the patio. Comfortable stay and quite.

Leslie is a great host. Everything with the condo was as described. Loved having my morning coffee on the balcony each morning and the sea breeze that came through all day and night. We have been on island several times and Sugar Beach is great for swimming and hanging out. My mother is older and a bit unsteady and many of the beaches are hard for her to get in and out of the water but the slope at Sugar is very gentle and was easy for her when she visited. Pool was nice as well but didn't get there much as the beach was so great. Will definitely stay again next time on island.

We loved the beachfront location with great beach access and beautiful views. It was a quiet community and not too crowded. We never had to fight for a chair. Shade was available under the palm trees. The condo was beautiful and had updated kitchen and baths. The kitchen was well stocked. We were totally pleased and would stay here again.

The Theatre at Sugar Beach Condo was PERFECT for our family vacation. The views from the condo were breathtaking. Leslie was the best host we have ever had. She gave awesome recommendations for things to do, where to eat, and quickly responded to any questions. We will definitely be back! Don't miss horseback riding with Cowboy Steve at Equus, snorkeling at Buck Island with Big Beards, and eating a La Reine Chicken Shack and Savant!! We made lifetime memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you, Leslie for making our vacation extraordinary!

We loved this property! It is well appointed with amazing views. The owner and prperty manager were incredible. A grezt stay at sugar beach, clean and friendly place to stay.

We LOVE this property. Its a go-to for our family and this makes the 3rd time we stayed here. The community alone is worth the trip and half our family stayed in this unit, half stayed in a 5BR on the other end of the complex. Theatre on the Beach is the NICEST unit in the whole building. Well maintained, attention to detail, friendly & detailed oriented owners + management. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful unit in a wonderful location. Only a 5-minute drive into Christiansted. While the neighborhood around the complex is a little rough, the unit’s view makes up for everything. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony watching the palm trees sway and listening to the waves. Easy to get down to their beach which is protected by a reef (and cleaned up every morning by the maintenance crew), so really great for swimming and snorkeling. The unit is perfect for two adult couples (or parents and children), although there's limited privacy. Really nice kitchen. But beware, groceries on the island are very expensive. Unit is well stocked with snorkel equipment and floating items, plus chairs and lots of beach towels. We only used the pool the first day since the beach was right there but it was nice as well. Bring your bug spray! We loved all the resources that the host left for us and it was super easy to reach the local contact. I would stay here again if I return to St. Croix.

My family stayed here for our vacation. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the trim level of the entire place, including the bathrooms, was very high. The view from the porch was terrific. We spent a lot of time just hanging out and listening to the waves. It was just a short drive to Christiansted. If you need a nice place to relax, check this one out.

The unit was exactly as described. The unit contained all the extras like beach towels, beach chairs and kayaks. Leslie answered all my questions prior to arrival and provided great suggestions to help enjoy our stay.

We enjoyed our 1st STX and property. The beach was right in front, easy access, the pool was excellent, easy access to Christiansted. Few small issues; it did offer any shampoo/conditioner or soap, few bugs issues (perhaps unavoidable), kitchen knives need to be sharpened, poor internet connection… overall we enjoyed staying this property very much.

The property was perfect. BEST pool on the island. Short walk to the beach - and the host has a secret weapon on the island to help with anything and everything you may need while you are there. We are already planning a return and we would 100% want to stay on Sugar Beach in the same unit. The host had everything you could think of in the unit and available to us - it was very clean and had so many extras to make the stay even better. If you are looking for a great location - and excellent accommodations this VRBO is the absolute best!

Nicely updated unit. Great view. Convenient to Christiansted. Well stocked unit. Could have had a dinner party for 10 people. The pool on the property was great. Safe is being replaced. Would stay there again anytime I’m going back to Beautiful St Croix!!

We stayed at the property with our 4 year old son and we absolutely loved it. There are board games and sand toys to keep kids busy. We felt like this was a second home immediately and were able to to so many activities while also doing very little at times; both were great. our son was calling the unit our "Croix home" and did not want to leave. Will definitely look to stay again.

Would absolutely stay again! Property manager genuinely cares about her tenants and went above and beyond from before the vacation started all the way through the end of our stay. Loved the home and location; couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My husband and I spent 6 days in St. Croix for our honeymoon at the end of October. Theatre at Sugar Beach exceeded our expectations! The condo was exactly as pictured and had everything you need for your stay; even extra things like board games, books, beach towels, and sunscreen. It was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Check in and out was seamless. A very quiet area and we never felt unsafe. Located a short and easy drive into Christansted. We only went for a quick swim in the pool one evening but it looked like a great place to spend the day-lots of seating and tables around a beautiful, clean and spacious pool. We spent many hours on the balcony! We had some rainy weather but the balcony is set up so that we were able to still sit outside and stay dry. The beach in front of the condo was lovely. Even though there was quite a bit of sargassum when we were there, every morning there were men diligently working to remove it as much as possible. Our only complaint is the bed in the master bedroom was pretty hard. But that's just personal preference and know there's no way to please everyone in that regard. All in all we would highly recommend this condo to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay at the sugar beach condo. Great location. There is so many nice beaches and restaurants on the island. We'll have to rent AWD next time though due to the roads condition. Leslie was very nice and responsive. She did everything she could to help us with issues we experienced.

We really enjoyed our stay in St. Croix. We liked the location of the condo. The condo was nice except the one issue we had with puddles of water on the living room area floor. We had to mop floor at least 3 times a day for thefirst 3 days. We did contact Alisha immediately when we arrived and seen the water. She told us that they were aware of the water issue and that they had been to the condo that day to wipe up floors before we arrived. We were told it was coming from condensation from air conditioner in the unit below us as they lowered the temp to 68. We had our air set at 75. After 3 days and lots of puddles of water we moved the temp up to 78. That took care of the puddles as they were gone. I don’t believe the air conditioner units in the condo are powerful enough to keep up with the heat in August in the Caribbean. We love the Caribbean so will be back, but not again in August.

We booked an end of season trip for our staff, visiting from St John. We booked both of Leslie's condos to accommodate a group of 9. We had 4 adults and one toddler in this unit. The daybed in the one room was great for our toddler. We loved the proximity to Christiansted and often enjoyed meals out. The condo was well equipped for cooking too and had nice bar seating. The beach onsite was good for morning walks. We were warned about the Sargassum issue and given the option to cancel, but it's something we're used to on St John and it wasn't a dealbreaker for us. They did a good job clearing it off the beach so it didn't create an odor, but it made it unpleasant to snorkel from the beach (but there are lots of other great beaches on island that didn't have this issue). We mostly used the pool when we weren't out exploring. Since it's off season we were often the only ones there.

Somewhere in the reviews there is mention of seasonal algae (sargassum) and our stay featured this unwelcome guest in the 3rd week of July! Winds filled the entire cove at Sugar Beach with unpassable amounts of sargassum for our entire stay. This squelched any use of the beach and the aroma permeated the tropical breeze. We were able to find many other beaches around the island that suffered much less consequence so not all was lost, but it did reduce the value of our stay at this property that is, otherwise, well-represented by the information stated on the listing.

Everyone we spoke to said that this was very predictable and it happens every single year. This year was extra bad and it was declared a state of emergency on the island. That wonderful view turns into a not usable porch. As well as the beach. The owner absolutely knew about the sarcasm and waited to tell me until after the cancelation period. We even arranged for different modes of travel after our flights were canceled. Had we known about this we could have stayed somewhere else or postponed the trip. I would definitely stay somewhere else.

Water was all over the floor and the two white chairs under a vent. We called the on island coordinator and did not receive a call back until 11pm. The host did respond through Vrbo but we had it cleaned up by that time. The location is okay but a taxi driver of ours told us to NEVER walk down the street alone or at night. That did not make us feel very safe. It had one restaurant in walking distance but that’s it. You have to rent a car to really go anywhere. While we were there we noticed roaches in the condo, dead and alive. The worst part about the entire trip was at the end. I forgot half my wardrobe in the master dresser, yes that was my own fault but I was able to get the on island coordinator to go get them before the next guest arrived. We spoke and she stated she would mail them to me. That was weeks ago and now I can not get the host or the coordinator to respond. I totally feel like I was stolen from and that’s not okay. It completely ruined my honeymoon and I was so hopeful I could trust them to be honest and return something they knew was not theirs. Beware of this place!!

There are plenty of other wonderful beaches available to visit if needed. We would definitely consider returning if we had the chance.
