This was our second stay at this property. We originally chose this place due to the location and the beach being right across the street. Connie is an excellent host and responds to any questions you may have in a timely manner. The property is as nice as it looks with upgraded appliances and everything else you may need. For next year. This is a property that you must try.

We really enjoyed our stay here - check in/out was very easy, the place was clean, and we didn't have to fight for parking! I loved that we could walk to the beach, and that restaurants, etc. were also an easy walk away. The only thing I wish had been different has nothing to do with how things were run - it would have been great if there was an outdoor seating area/patio.

Great fun property! Very comfortable! Great location. But the tv’s were very difficult to navigate.

This place was excellent. Super clean & the owner thought of everything to make your ocean stay terrific. They even provided beach towels, chairs & boogie boards. Awesome way to take care of your visitors. Across from the beach & walk to everything in Ocean Beach area. Also easy drive to the Zoo & Museums. Thank you for a lovely few days away from the heat in AZ.

I have stayed in different VRBO homes in OB. This house was exceptional! It was quiet and cozy. The parking is right in front and it had everything we needed and more. Everything was clean and comfortable, from the queen bed to the pull out sofa. It has AC so it’s amazing to come back from a day at the beach to a cool house and relax. The beach is not even a block away, you can go to the beach and easily come back for snacks or a potty break. There are restaurants and a liquor/market close by. The refrigerator is BIG and fits everything for a weeks stay. My family loved it and will be staying again.

This place was wonderful. Was very clean when we checked in and instructions for the home were clearly put out. The location was wonderful and the parking spot was so nice since street parking is hard to come by. It was so nice that the beach gear was included. We would definitely love to stay here again.

I have stayed in OB every time I come visit. This was definitely one of my favorite rentals. I usually rent something a bit bigger because I bring my whole family down but this time it was just me and a couple of my kids. It was absolutely perfect. Within walking distance to everything. The unit itself was comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for the kiddos and I. Thank you!

We loved this place. It’s perfect for two people. The decor made us feel like we were at a luxury hotel but with the added benefit of a full kitchen and laundry. The designated parking spot is directly in front of the unit making it easy to unload. The unit is truly a 3 minute walk from the beach. We enjoyed the sunset from the beach several times during our stay. We arrived an hour early and texted the host who responded right away and let us check in early which we greatly appreciated. Excellent stay. We highly recommend it.

This is just what the doctor ordered!! Super close to beach, Great restaurants within walking distance. Small grocery store 3 blocks over. And YOUR OWN PARKING SPACE!!! Would definitely recommend.

Place was exactly as it was described. Check in was easy and there was a place for us to park. We love this area and everything was so close. Fully stocked kitchen and full size appliances. We didn't cook, I was on vacation; but next time we just might. We loved the beach chairs and now we are now getting some of our own. Planning our next visit already!

Connie was an exceptional host and her apartment was perfect! We are so appreciative to her for making our anniversary/birthday weekend so enjoyable. Everything was so comfortable and homey. She has thought of everything and it is beautifully decorated and well stocked . She is always communicative and kind. Additionally, it was wonderful to be able to walk across the street to the beach. We will have some fond memories thanks to Connie sharing her lovely home.

Beautiful, updated property within a block to the beach.Very clean. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, grocery. We take our grandchildren on a trip when they turn 10 and this was perfect with the pull out couch. Sites in San Diego are an easy Uber ride. We had a little trouble logging into cable and Connie was very responsive. Hope to go back again someday and would definitely recommend!

The apartment was comfortable, very clean, extremely well equipped. All new fittings and furnishings. Funky beach neighborhood, 2 minute walk to the beach. Great shopping/eating 5 minutes away. Short drive from airport. Highly recommend.

Very well designed, laid out and decorated one bedroom apartment with all modern conveniences: dishwasher, washer/dryer, flat screen tvs, heat/ac units, and a dedicated parking spot. Great location across street from dog beach and easy walk to bars and restaurants.

Connie was great with communication, me and my wife were on our 30th anniversary. Great, friendly community. Beautiful little place clean well equipped for our stay. Thank you Connie for the chance to enjoy our trip.

The accommodation was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The only downside to this unit was that it lies in the direct path of planes landing and taking off from the San Diego airport. However, we didn't find this too off-putting, and would gladly return in the future.

This property was a great place! The property manager was so helpful and responsive. It was completely remodeled, clean and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler and sand toys. The location was amazing as it is right across the street from the beach. The only reason I left 4 stars for location is because this area is a very eclectic, local vibe (which we normally like) but there were some “characters” and homeless people around the neighborhood, one of which yelled at me and followed me as I walked from the beach back to the cottage. I walked around the block until he left so he didn’t know where I was staying, as it was unsettling. With that being said, my husband and I would probably still stay here again but probably not with our kids. Everything else was great.

My wife and I had a great 7-day stay for Christmas. Building may not look like much from outside, but the inside is great. One of the few places we've stayed where the furnishings are even better than the pictures on the website. Bosch dishwasher with a Samsung french door fridge. Comfortable bed, modern shower with plenty of hot water. Off street reserved parking, which is a big bonus in Ocean Beach. The beach, by the way, is right across the street. The interior is small, but well laid out. Great for couples, but could probably handle a child, too. Highly recommend!

Great! Everything ready at house. Comfortable, functional, close to beach. Walking distance to beach, quick bite. Loved bringing our coffee to the beach in the morning. Toured San Diego and enjoyed wonderful sunset on beach the night before we left. Visited San Diego Zoo & Sea World. Both were great.

Comfortable and easy walking to beach and delicious local fare! Fresh new bathroom, kitchen, couches, towels, thick sheets. Fun beachside neighborhood but easy access to downtown, Zoo and Balboa Park. Connie responded promptly to our question. Great cozy place!

Only negative is lack of windows with any kind of view. So not for claustrophobics. Otherwise lovely, clean, modern and comfortable. Great location one block from the beach.

My mom and I came for what was supposed to be a 4 night stay. We arrived in the evening. We drove to the property, which was hard to find at night but we found it. There’s a funky odor to the house. Pictures accurately show inside. If you drink wine, make sure you bring your own wine owner as we couldn’t find one. We drove down near the beach that evening where there were a bunch of cards in the beach parking lot. We had a car, without headlights on, follow for over a mile. Every turn I made, this car made. We went back and packed our things up. We left and went to a safer part of town. There were many homes with bars on the windows, just a block away. I called Connie, the homeowner, the next morning. She was dismissive of our experience and frustrated I didn’t call her the night before. She would not refund me any money even though we didn’t stay there. She would only refund if someone booked it while we were supposed to be there. I do not recommend staying here.

I had a great stay here. It was so comfortable for my hiusband and I. The host was accommodating to my needs. It was close to the beach and a short walk into town. I would definitely stay here again.
