Kit is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful and happy to chat. The property is wonderful and relaxing, surrounded by Australian bush and other trees and plants. You wake to the sound of kookaburras and other bird life, But it is quiet. All you hear is the gentle sigh of wind through the trees. The cabin is cosy and well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Excellent location: it is easy to go exploring either down to Cradle Mountain, or along the coast. There are many activities just a short drive away. I'll be back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location. Rural peace and quiet yet close to town, beaches and tourist spots. I used it as my base to explore the west part of the North Coast. Kit has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Tippi is a treasure. I didn’t want to leave

It is said that Tasmania has the freshest air in the World and you can definitely experience this up at Eagles Rise! The cabin is exactly all that it is described as and more. A very homely feeling that makes you wish you had stayed longer! The host Kit is a true host and is around when needed and invisible when not! The abundance of veggies from her garden were very much enjoyed! The plans Kit has for upgrades such as an extension and a deck for the cabin sound fabulous! We will have to return to check it all out! If you are wanting a genuine hosted property for a wonderful getaway in the clouds, Eagles Rise is the place to be! Enjoy! We did! :)

Eagles Rise was an amazing place to stay. The cottage was very cosy and had everything you would posssibly need and more. It was a short drive into nearest town which had a good selection of supermarkets, restaurants and variety shops. The host Kit was awesome, so friendly, helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had the perfect relaxing holiday. No hesitations whatsoever in recommending Eagle Rise if you’re playing to explore the beautiful north coast.

Ideally situated in a quiet spot on top of a hill just a few minutes inland from Ulverstone. Was just what we needed to unwind during the Masters Games. Makes a great base from which to explore north Tassie. Host and dog both very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast in particular was a delight sitting in the sun contemplating the hills and forest.

This delightful self contained accommodation attached to the main house met all our needs. A beautiful and quiet location enabled the rest and relaxation we sought. Nearby towns and places of interest gave us plenty to do as we wound down. Everything required for our five day stay was at hand and in top condition. highly recommended for all who ,like us, enjoy self catering accommodation.

Such a beautiful cozy venue in peaceful rolling hills and bush! Lovely place for a relaxing weekend away from the city; well thought-out and prepared for everything (even a surprise electrical storm and black-out, leading to a spontaneous candle-lit dinner!).The proprietor is friendly and helpful, and wasreadily accessible by phone and email even when away.Will recommend to friends, and hopefully have the chance to stay again sometime.

Clean, comfortable accommodation in the country but not far from Ulverstone and the highway. Owner was away but very much contactable.

A charming cabin that is really cozy and clean and has that rustic, homely feel, with the most comfortable of beds! After a long trip, the deep bath was good to soak in! In the morning, I sat in the East garden in the sunshine, with my maps and some excellent real coffee, provided in the unit! Kit, my host, was extremely welcoming and she shared good tourist information and chats. Good cups of tea too :) I will be thoroughly recommending to all, it is the perfect getaway location, yet so central to everything. Will definitely visit again! A place to arrive as strangers and part as friends :

Eagles Rise ticks all the boxes if you like rustic charm, open spaces, peace and quiet but still only ten minutes from Ulverstone township for shopping and dining. Our hostess was wonderful and our stay fantastic. Would certainly recommend to others.
