Wonderful place to stay.

Overall stay was amazing with the perfect access to the beach. Cleanliness was satisfactory however, we had to deal with cockroaches in the kitchen daily during over stay which was a little nuisance. They kept coming out from a hole under the dish washer. Some basic kitchen stuff was not available for us, salt, pepper, dish scrubber, more dish washer tablets. Garage door had no lock and therefore safety of our stay was questionable.

The internet on the property did not work it took them two days to fix it all of our work got effected.The cloths dryer was not working as well.They did not care to provide enough amenities for the amount they are charging .we had to get all the stuff the day.The location and beach was good.

I would rent this beach house again, but cleanliness was not where it should be. For example hand rails between first and second floor were very sticky and we saw two palmetto bugs on the first floor. Also, dishwasher is loose in the cabinet. Overall though, we had a great time and loved the house.

Great updated house directly on a private beach. You walk down your stairs and you are walking on the soft white sand right out into the water. Great response time from property manager if we needed anything. Will definitely book again!! Nicole

We are an extended family of 13, including 7 adults and 6 children. Overall I would recommend this house to anybody looking for quick beach access and many beds. Pros: access to beach, layout of house, number of beds, overall location. Cons: cleanliness of house. I'm sure it can be difficult to clean such a large house but there were clogged showers and sinks, sand on the floor, and the couches could have used a deep clean. It was livable but being cleaner would have made it the ultimate stay.

When we first walked in it was unsettling to see a large pallemetto bug half dead on the floor. Not what you want to see when you walk into a place you have spent that much money to stay at. I know it's FL and that time of year but was still hard for me to relax. They did let us check in 2 hrs early so that was nice, The place definatly needs updating and a good cleaning. Throughout the week we had multiple cockroaches. I called real Joy and they had someone come spray, he came with a can of raid and sprayed the house. I dont really find that peacfull even at the beach! The beds are really hard and uncomfortable. There was also mouse dropping in the silverware drawer. It was nice to be so close to the water and made it easy to grab things you forgot. The beach is so beautiful that was a plus being so close. One of the master bedrooms was on the bottom floor and that is where the the washer and dryer was in the room so we had the large group of people in and out to go outside also in and out to do laundry not a big deal just not much privacy if thats what you are looking for. I think the home has the potentiel to be a beautiful place I just think it definatley needs some TLC. Overall I wouldn't would choose this property again.

The property was not as clean as we would have liked. There was a lot of sand and dirt on the floor upon arrival. The house was perfect on the beach front. This is a great property for 17 adults with good sleeping accommodations, bathrooms, and spacious eating/living area. A disadvantage to the beach was that apparently the property is only allowed to have 6 spots and the beach that you must rent. Two chairs/umbrella come with the property for the private beach. Our group brought our personal chairs. The beach management company explained that we had to purchase two more sets of chairs in order to stay on the beach. How can you have a house for 18 people and only allow a few beach chairs? This should be advised when booking! The view was gorgeous. Nice decks with beach views. Great location in Destin. Located about 15 min from all restaurants and bars.

Our experience was very good overall! Would definitely stay again. Pros: - Location is excellent - Reasonably priced compared to comps - Lots of room for large groups - Beach chair/umbrella service is very nice - Beds are comfy - Property management is kind and responsive Cons: - Lacking/low on some basic amenities (no salt/pepper, no coffee filters, no extra trash bags, only two dish detergent pods, only one role of TP per bathroom) - Standard check-in seems fairly late (4:00 PM), however we were able to check in early so they are flexible - Some of the chairs/furniture seems like its on its last leg

This is a nice place to stay and enjoy the beach! A lot of nice restaurants nearby and stores close too. We had a great experience with renting and staying here!

Wow, what a very nice location. View is incredible. Would suggest upgrading mattresses in bunk room. Five stars, Would be very happy to return!

The location was perfect, with plenty of space for everybody. Quiet area, Family-friendly. The house was great; it has everything a significant family needs, it's not a supermodern or elegant home, but I am not a picky person who needs that. My family and I want a natural home, and this fits perfect.

House was great. Location was great. Parking is not. There is not adequate parking to park the number of vehicles it takes to get everyone there. 4 bedrooms and a bunk room with only 3 parking spots One of the parking spots is in the undersized garage. Fortunately we had one vehicle small enough to fit. Again, the house itself is great.

Contacted the property manager early before our arrival to have champagne and birthday cake there for my wife’s birthday arrival. It was not there but after contacting management via text the did bring it out later that evening. Next I found out the day before checkout that the other bathrooms were not clean, there was mold on the floor those couples had to shower with flip flops, again I contacted management and sent pictures, they offered to send cleaners tight out but there was no need since were checking out the next morning. For our troubles they offered to send a check, or a discount on next rental. I chose the check and was told it would be sent out right away. It has been over a week and we have not received the check. Overall the location was awesome and we enjoyed our stay.

The property was just as advertised which was great because it was my first time renting a vacation house. The beach was amazing. There were plenty of linens provided and my neices and nephews enjoyed the beach toys provided. We just had a slight problem with bugs on the second floor which is where the kitchen is located. I'm unsure if that is due to the location of the house or something else. And we were able to see dolphins from our balcony in morning which was amazing.

The property was great for our group. The 5 rooms gave us lots of room. It was only lacking a few things: pot holders, cookie sheets and salt and pepper. It would be nice if there were a few basic staples.

This house was perfect for myself and 14 friends. We all slept very comfortably and the house was in great condition. It was close enough to the bars and the view was amazing!

Our week spent at Pointe of View was everything anyone would want for a relaxing, beach vacation filled with perfect, unobstructed views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The home itself is comfortable with plenty of space for all guests. Each floor has a deck that overlooks the beautiful emerald ocean with direct beach access. There was one sink that was not draining properly and the property manager was very quick to respond and offer to have the issue addressed immediately. The management company was great to work with, will definitely rent from them again! The only complaint is that of the public beach directly next to the private beach associated with the property, still plenty of space for the property’s guests with a set of chairs included, but the public does tend to want to drift over into the more private section. Nothing that deterred from the week, just the only true complaint. If you want paradise with a view, book this property!!

We had a great time, the location and view were wonderful! No complaints, and loved the accommodations. Minor issues, the bush near parking needs trimming. Parking is a limited, with only 3 spots available (garage, and 2 lots).

Upon arrival, we noticed the garbage cans (near the front door) had an incredible foul stench. I contacted the property manager who asked me to move the cans to the street to be emptied. Problem was not rectified the entire vacation after several attempts to have the cans removed. The house afforded plenty of room, good location, and with some minor touch-ups could be a great place to vacation.

Pros: house is on the beach and it’s a large home for groups/families It’s in the center of the “hub” of Destin..,so…good and bad. Everything is accessible but traffic is a bear. Cons: poor Maintenance and poor cleanliness. Trash was overflowing. There was a trash bag full of beer boxes/beer cans at foot of stairs. Trash all around stairs. One toilet had feces stuck to surface. Showers and sinks had hair from previous guests. Rug in living room is disgusting and has a funky odor. Living room furniture has seen better days. Dining table still had food stuck to it from previous guests. Return air vent was caked with dirt. Step going to beach was broken and had a 2x4 nailed to it that was warped and had nails sticking up out of it…very dangerous. Railing on lower deck was loose. Don’t lean on it! Upper deck had one stool on it..not the chairs/tables shown in photo. Door in living room to middle deck is very hard to open and close. Lower deck door is impossible to lock deadbolt. Sink in bathroom off kitchen doesn’t drain. Had to take stopper out to prevent standing water. Parking for Unit 4 is insane! It’s IMPOSSIBLE to get in and out without doing a 6 point turn. Thank goodness we rented a golf cart and didn’t have to get our vehicle out much. Public beach access is on other side of this town home so the beach is EXTREMELY crowded. People set their chairs immediately in front of rented beach service chairs at edge of water. Couldn’t beach walk without extreme people navigation. One bathroom on third floor had hot water but no cold water in one sink and second sink had cold water, no hot water. Strange. A few small holes in the walls in some areas of house. There was a cockroach in the kitchen when we arrived. Thankfully, we didn’t see him for the remainder of the trip. But…gave us the heebie jeebies. This isn’t surprising given the amount of trash piled up around the house. Property manager sent people out day after we arrived. They cleaned the toilet, brought my dad clean pillows (his were dirty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival) and fixed hot/cold water issue. 3 days later someone showed up and fixed dangerous step mentioned above, cleaned air vent and trash was finally removed. Property manager offered a refund on cleaning fee because of issues.Summary: given the price of this home, definitely would not rent again.

Once again, Florida did not disappoint! We had a great stepping out to beach-literally! With family and kids ranging from age 5 all the way to 60+, this house gave us the flexibility we needed. It was close to groceries, restaurants, shopping…and Harbor Village. Lots of memories made and an experience we won’t forget!

Garage does not “ fit” mid size suv, if you want to be able to get out of the car.House needs some touch ups- stairwell walls need painting, hole in 3 rd floor bathroom needs patching and well as hanging missing mirror.It is a “private beach”, but very small for number of rentals it accommodates.Add some plastic containers. Kitchen was lacking if you plan on cooking meals. We had to buy a large boiling pot. First time ever in 11 yrs of renting houses in Destin.
