The property is actually undersold in its descriptions. The owners definitely have the house setup extremely well for guests. They thought of everything. The water and doc are perfect for fishing. The house was great for families and friends. Would love to stay there again.

The property and owners are so welcoming! The house is almost unbelievably well-stocked—even extra toothbrushes! The were a party of 6 senior adults. Each couple had one bathroom for their use.

Overall the house was absolutely wonderful ! Communication with the owner was very clear and quick responses. I was blown away at how much supplies they have compared to other houses even down to kitchen supplies such as bags, foil, etc. My kids had so much fun with being able to fish, crab, bike, play games inside on the provided systems and ping pong table ! The dog fenced in yard was a HUGE draw and was absolutely worth it! Definitely would recommend! My kids are already asking to go back here !

Enjoyed the home amenities like the deck, pier, boats and patio. The fishing pier and the family games the home offered we all enjoyed. Did not us the hot tub jacuzzi because was turned off about getting charged extra even after taking a shower before entering. Didn’t need to worry or stress about all those rules. Family was on vacation to enjoy not stress about anything. Loved the gated back yard for the dogs to enjoy! Washing machine and drier don’t work that good. I had to rewash and dry everything at home. The sheets had stain in the bed and didn’t seem like there were fresh sheet. Like to wash or bring new sheets to assure I’m sleeping in clean location. The refrigerator was not clean. Addressed this issues with the owner. Bring mosquito repellant because at night they like to bite. Other than those issues, enjoyed the short fishing vacation. Kids loved fishing and got pretty decent size fish.

We booked this home for a three generation family vacation and had a great week spending time together. The home is very well kept and clean. There is ample storage space in the kitchen, as well as bedroom/bathroom areas. The outdoor area was our favorite place to be! My Mom enjoyed sitting under the shade tree in the yard and watching her grandkids kayak paddleboard, fish and crab, and chatting with the ones taking a break. :) The yard was large and well fenced, which allowed the dogs to romp and play and enjoy the outdoor space too, w/o fear of them leaving the property. The only downside to the trip, was the large amount of jellyfish near the dock, which prevented the dogs from enjoying the water, and made fishing a little tricky at times. This was our first time to this area, and I did not see it in any other reviews, so it was definitely unexpected. We ended up finding two nearby beaches (15-20 min away) where the dogs could play in the water, but had they been able to use the river by the home, we could have avoided wet dogs in the car. Also the trip to Tangier island was a little disappointing. It was a nice ferry ride, but the island itself, is not worth the 3hr ferry (RT). We made the best of it but would have rather just spent the day at Stunning River Retreat. Oh one other note, we have T Mobile, which did not have good coverage in the area. The locals seem to have AT&T, which seemed to work much better. :)

Property was very clean and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing right off the dock. Nice big outdoor space!

It was nice having the dogs able to join our family fun! -- Reccomend it highly - especially if you're a "water friendly" family or group. The moment we pulled up and saw where we would be at for the next few days...we were all so excited! There's not one thing you would want for! They seriously thought about everything! They only thing we had to leave for was getting groceries. They had everything you would need to cook...spices, cups, paper plates! We were welcomed with a treat basket and got to get a complimentary bottle of wine too! The jellyfish were bad but thats of no fault of theirs! It didn't spot us from using the paddle boat or trying to fish. Even set up a little pool for the kids! Was a wonderful experience, beautiful home/property and best host we have had as of yet!

Stunning River is a place with plenty to do for all ages. So peaceful and quiet. Would most definitely book again.

Stunning River Retreat offers so many amenities for both outdoor and indoor activities that you really don't have to leave the property!

I've rented many homes from VRBO and this house by far was the best well stocked and complimentary amenities. The house was fabulous.

This zero stress home and neighborhood made our vacation ideal. No Kayak rental time limitations, just go out for a row and be gone all day if you wish! The indoor play opportunities with Billiard table, Ping Pong table, Cards and various other popular games had us laughing and enjoying this lovely home that much more. To top it off a Hot tub and small pool! This property really did have everything when fenced in yard and pet friendly for small dogs was available. Your home felt warm and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the amazing communication and being a great host!

This house is a perfect retreat. Lots of thought out into this rental and it’s highly recommended.

The house honestly looks way better in person than in the picture. It is very clean, well stocked and maintained. It was nice to be right on the water and travel out with our boat. The marina is only a couple minutes away. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Beautiful dock and lots of activities at the house. So much space!! Even the towels were thick, white and clean.

This home has everything you could need to enjoy an on the water, courty quiet vacation. They have so many things to keep you and your family busy there is no need to go anywhere. Being on a dead end cove it was nice to not have lots of water traffic. The neighborhood is very quiet and a nice place to walk with no fear of traffic. There are lots of bikes but many could use some replacement or work. Inside the home there is plenty to keep entertained as well. Our weather didn't not cooperate as I had hoped so we enjoyed the pool table and all the games in the "play room". We dis not get to explore the area much but there is a cute small town about 25 minutes away. If your looking for quiet with lots to do all in one place look no further.

As a small family reunion we had a wonderful time catching up with one another. Proximity to the water and the ample supply of recreational elements and kitchen elements set a great context for being together.
