We loved our stay here. The place was perfect for our family. We loved the view from the room and the easy beach access. The condo was well stocked. The pool was great for the kids. We will be back.

We love staying at the Sea Gypsy every time we come to oregon! this was our first time in this unit and we loved it!
only 2 minor issues, our sink wasn’t draining and they came as quickly as they could and fixed it. The king bed is so so soft that you sink in and can’t move. but many may love that! moving the sleeping pad off of the pull out and rollaway make them much more comfortable too!
was a fabulous experience though and our family made SO many fun memories!! Thank you!

When i opened the door for the first time, it about had me in tears- in the best way! The view is incredible! It was well stocked, cute, good location, and very clean! The pool was a little cold.. lol but I might just be a wimp. My kids loved it, though!

We were so impressed with Otter Space! It's warm and welcoming with beautiful decor and an amazing view! It was the perfect size for our family of seven. My husband and I slept very comfortably in the king bed in the bedroom with our three year old closeby on the rollaway while the four older kids slept on the queen and hide a bed in the living room. The kitchen is very well stocked. Better than I expected actually. We brought a blender and a coffee grinder and didn't need either. There's a French press in addition to the coffee maker. There is also a crockpot, which I thought was great and if I had known, I would have planned my meals differently:) We couldn't find our sand toys when packing for our stay, but we were so pleasantly surprised that Otter Space had us covered with a whole bag full stashed in the entry closet along with extra towels for beach or pool. There are several puzzles and games, quite a few books and a good selection of movies. The only things we would change would be the bright outdoor porch lights that shine through the cracks in the bedroom window curtains and there was some noise from the people upstairs, but not much you can do about that. Also, it would be really helpful to have a faucet at the top of the stairs to the beach so people could hose off before dragging a bunch of sand inside with them. None of those issues are deal breakers for us. They are very minor issues. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at 208 Otter Space. The condo was outfitted with everything we needed in the kitchen, had plenty of towels and bedding and the location was ideal. We will be coming back!

We love Sea Gypsy! We have stayed in at least 6 of the units, I'm guessing and 208 is our new favorite. No, we do not need all that space for just the two of us but it is just so nice. It provided everything we could possibly need.
I have a long history with Sea Gypsy. I started staying there as a teenager and then brought my kids every year for spring break in the 90's. In fact, we were there during “Spring break quake”!

I brought things I thought I would need and ended up needing nothing! Otter Space was extremely well equipped, down to the minute details, with everything easily found. We stayed here a few years ago and were delighted to find that the room has been beautifully redone, which just added to the magical and relaxing atmosphere. And that view! We will continue to return, it was wonderful.

This is our 3rd stay at Sea Gypsy and room 208 is our favorite. I give the room 5 stars. Wonderfully decorated. It's very roomy, felt like we had lots of space. Everything we needed for cooking was conveniently there. The only complaint I have was the noise level above us. I've never heard this level of noise at all times of day and night. This isn't necessarily Sea Gypsy's fault so I didn't want to give the room a harsh rating because the the people above us were so obnoxiously loud. My 3 kids were questioning what was happening above us constantly. That's how you know it was bad.

Mixed Review
I will start off with what was fantastic and that was the room itself, the owners have movies, games, music and comfort beds. Now what I hated and why I probably won't return or at least never stay in rm 208 ever again. The condo room is right next to the house keepers room; everyday all those workers were so loud laughing and and talking and just have a great time but as the guest you couldn't take a nap you couldn't relax it was just beyond noisy and every time a door closed you would jump out of your skin from the booming sound. Also I was really disappointed that our room wasn't clean, we stayed 8 nights and still had to clean when we first got there. Hair in the bathrooms, good in the kitchen and in the handle of the fridge it just wasn't good. Lastly the neighbors beside us always let their door slam closed and it was like another big boom every time and for 3/4 of the week the people above us were running back and forth in their condo till sometimes midnight and would start again before 6am. It definitely didn't sound like a child's pace either but the building is a lot older and when you have a guest like that it makes it pretty bad. We stayed in a different condo here at the Sea Gypsy a few years back and our experience was much better. I hate to leave this review, I really do but I think it's important that the staff are aware of their impact they had and that any guest considering that beautiful room understands the noise that you will hear surrounding you.

Lovely unit and lovely ocean view!
We had a fantastic week staying in Otter Space! The unit was surprisingly large and the view can’t be beat! We spent hours enjoying the ocean in all of its moods - right from the comfort of the living room!
This unit is very well stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous stay! Everything was really good quality and just perfect! The Sea Gypsy staff was also very friendly and helpful on the one occasion that we needed to reach out to them. The only thing to be aware of is that it is an older building, so we could certainly tell when renters arrived upstairs! But even that was minor. Oh - and the toilet “flush lever” sticks so we there were several trips back to “unstick” it so that the toilet would stop running. But seriously, that was the only complaint for the whole trip! We will definitely be staying again!!

Otter sea view room
We absolutely loved the view and spaciousness of the room.
The King bed was very comfortable and loved that there were 2full baths.
For$300 a night I did expect better quality Kleenex and toilet paper, it felt like sand paper. That's our only complaint about the room itself.
The room above us was quite a problem, they were up and about alit, at One point I thought someone was in our room, even trying to be quiet walking was impossible..

Sisters reunion
My four sisters and i spent a very enjoyable 3 days at the Oregon coast staying at the Sea Gypsy in Unit 208!! The accommodations were excellent!!! Very inviting, warm and comfortable!Everything we needed was furnished!!!
We spent time shopping and dining out but long evenings hanging out at the condo, just being together for the first time in 4 years!!!
Wonderful experience, hoping we can do it again!!!

Great location
The home was beautiful and had a great location. The owners were a pleasure to deal with . The one criticism we had with the place is that we received a email the night before encouraging us to do a late check in due to the cleaning staff being behind . They said there was a good possibility the unit would not be ready at the agreed upon check in time . This does not work well for a family of 5 that’s been in the car all day .
We have two properties we short term rent on VRBO. We are having the same staffing issues and turn over problems. We would never make this our guest problem. We even had to start blocking a day between guest to insure the units would be ready for the next guest. We would never ask out guest to alter there well planned trip to capitalize on my income from the unit . This was disappointing .

Great View
The view from the room is amazing, beach access couldn't be better and we appreciated the amenities (beach toys and chairs, kids loved the indoor pool). The only problem we encountered were bug bites from two of the beds. Not sure if there were spiders (we didn't see any) but no evidence of bed bugs were found. Beside that, the stay was delightful.

I think I have lost count of how many times the Green family has stayed in our favorite room, #208, Otter Space! As usual, room 208 became our home away from home for a week. This month marked our 17th straight year visiting the Oregon Coast. We landed in Lincoln City all those years ago, and we have never gone anywhere else. All 10 of our kids have grown up on that beach, and now they are bringing their spouses and kids. The room was immaculate and we always look forward to seeing what new upgrades await us! The room has surely transformed over the years, and it boasts, in my opinion, the coziest, beach themed room at Sea Gypsy. We did struggle a bit with the wifi this trip. None of the wifi passwords for Otter Space would work. We ended up connecting to the Sea Gypsy one and had decent wifi! No worries there... The only other "complaint" I have is that my favorite rocking chair, that I have been sitting in for years, must have gotten her retirement papers. I loved that chair! And for the first several years, i would book room 208 BECAUSE it had a rocker. I have a back injury and it was just the most comfortable chair... I was bummed that she wasnt there! Besides my grief over the rocker, our family enjoyed the most wonderful week at the beach. Our FAVORITE room will always be Otter Space! Bless you, and thank you for sharing your room with us! Otter Space room 208
I think I have lost count of how many times the Green family has stayed in our favorite room, #208, Otter Space! As usual, room 208 became our home away from home for a week. The only other "complaint" I have is that my favorite rocking chair, that I have been sitting in for years, must have gotten her retirement papers. I loved that chair! And for the first several years, i would book room 208 BECAUSE it had a rocker🤣. I have a back injury and it was just the most comfortable chair... I was bummed that she wasnt there! Great place to stay at the beach!
We have stayed at the Sea Gypsy many times over the years. To our pleasant surprise, they have recently updated the rooms and exterior of the buildings. It was great to see new furnishings, larger TV's, well stocked kitchen, updated bathrooms, new carpet, new paint, etc.....
Even with the changes, the rates have remained affordable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away from it all and stay at the beach.
I also appreciated the multiple sleeping areas. Our room had a king bed, queen bed, sleeper sofa, and rollaway bed!! So more than enough space for friends and family to enjoy the stay.
We loved it and are planning to come again, and again!!!

Girls weekend
I stayed in this unit many years ago and the updates to it are wonderful! The room itself is big and cozy. We didn’t use the TVs at all, we loved the table by the window, perfect for puzzles, good drinks and enjoying the ocean view. The unit was overall clean but they mention more in depth cleaning due to covid and their were handprints on the windows and some hair on the bathroom floor, which in my opinion is basic cleaning between clients. Overall though I would go again, my friends who had never been both said they would love to return with their families!

Happy Vacations
For our first time staying in Lincoln City and getting to know the town. It was such a great experience! My family loved it. Super spacious and lots of room! Tidy and clean. Loved the bathroom flooring and the view to the beach! Defense staying here again in May and bringing the rest of my family to enjoy! Room 208 thank you for your hospitality!

Weekend get-a-way
We took two of our grandsons for a weekend at the coast. The unit is very well stocked and was clean. The view of the ocean if fabulous and you can't beat the salt water pool. This is my 3rd time staying in this unit.

A great place to stay at the beautiful Oregon coas
We loved the condo! Great space! Loved that it was right on beach. It was so stormy that night and I love it when it's stormy over there. It's my favorite time to go. The bed in the main room was a little hard but the king in the bedroom was good. It needs some updating but I didn't see anything that needed repaired. Coffee maker with coffee, 2 bathrooms, all kitchen appliances, plenty of seating, dining table, sofa bed, roll away! Sleeps 7!! We are already planning are next trip to the coast and we will be staying there!!! I want to see some of the other condos. I have already told all my coworkers and the doctors I work for! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Your staff was very helpful and friendly. We are even thinking about buying one of the condos! Can't wait to stay again!!

Perfect location with a great view and lots of room!
This was a great place to stay. It was nice and large and came with shampoo and conditioner, which was unexpected.
Some of my complaints were that there were very few silverware and I was missing a few utensils for cooking and had to go and purchase them. One of the stove burners did not work, and the fridge could use replacing. A few updates would bring it up a notch!
Also, the back bedroom was next to a walkway, and it could get a little loud.
We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate that you shared your place with us. Thank You!
