The cabin in nice. Just the right distance to the lake with kids. Great grilling spot and fire pit. Nice swimming area. Fishing was good off the dock. Lake water was very warm. Had a great time.

Great place to stay for a family. Even if more than 4. They have a great set up in basement even though are family of 4 does not need it. I was able to dock my pontoon boat there as Marty h an expansive dock with a nice beach. Beautiful piece of land in a great part ot Lake Arrowhead Community.

This is are 2nd time renting this cabin.both times we had a great time.arrowhead is a great lake to fish and to explore the cabin is very cozy and has everything you need. For cooking ,fun on the lake and sleeping .it may get a little crowded if you have a large group but it was perfect for the wife and i.The owner Marty is very easy to deal with and did a great job making sure you have everything you need for a great vacation

The master bedroom was very comfortable. The Owner was responsive and very nice. The kids 9,7,6 had a blast fishing. They want to come back. The area is very nice. We really just spent all our time fishing and going out in our boat.

This is our 3rd year visiting Marty's cozy cabin! We love the lake and the sandy flat entrance is wonderful for our dog! The house is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Marty is a gracious and responsive host! Thank you again for sharing your home with us!

Great location for a relaxing week.

We have stayed at this property before, loved it then and loved it this time. The location on the lake is great, on a beautiful wide very quite cove. The beach/water area was well maintained allowing us to float leisurely each day of our stay. The house was nicely equipped. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook most days. The owners have taken great care of the property.

Nice log cabin.small walk to beach,but that was fine.sunny on pier,shady on beach.quiet and relaxing.quiet neighbors.saw lots of wildlife.

This is our second time at this property-Really nice cabin and property for a relaxing stay. Lake Arrowhead is so quiet with so many nooks and crannies and full of fish! Everything you need for a great stay, very well equipped kitchen. We had a great time fishing and kayaking. You Must go to Doles Orchard very close by for fruit/pies/cider!! Owner is very responsive. House is very clean! Day trip to Portland less than an hour.

House is exactly as pictured. Cute cabin on the lake. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. We enjoyed lounging by the lake and going swimming every day.

Lots of areas for different activities, very cute cabin we did find a handful of maintenance items that needed attention and would have improved the stay. (guessing it was due to the lateness in the season) Owners Seem to really care and are more then willing to help out in any way to improve your stay.

This was our second year renting this property. We were very happy being on the lake. Some of our highlights were the raft, kayaks, inner tubes and fishing off the docks. We enjoyed the tennis and basketball courts. The deck was nice to eat family meals on. Our dogs enjoyed swimming in the lake and drying off on the deck. The property manager, Marty was available for any questions or concerns that came up. We are very excited to come back here next year.

We had a fantastic vacation here! We loved that the cabin was right on a beautiful lake, that canoes, kayaks, and floats were provided, and that we could have our dog with us.

How was clean and very well stocked. We brought way more than we needed. Tons of toys for the lake!

We had the peace and rest that we sought . The cabin was quiet and comfortable, and although the weather was lousy, we had a very relaxing time.

We had a great stay. Super comfy with everything we needed for our week away. The lake was beautiful and we really loved hanging out at the little beach.

Me and my family had a great time. We really enjoy that area and close enough to the Maine coast where you can visit the beach as well. Bass fishing is 2nd to none there. My son caught a huge bass last cast of our stay right off Marty's dock!

Property exactly as described. Had everything we needed to enjoy a great week in Maine. Kids enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, swimming and everything was included for our dog. Very quiet relaxing environment and is only about 45 minutes to coast to enjoy Portland, etc. if you desire. Great communication with owner. Thank you Marty

The cabin is a wonderful place to spend quite time with family. The cabin is warm and inviting, you instantly feel the stress of a fast paced world fade away. The lake it quite and calm, great for kayaking or canoeing. Less than an hour from Portland if you are looking to explore restaurants or shopping. Martin is quick to respond to any questions and give suggestions on local places to check out. A great find.

We really enjoyed our stay at the log cabin in North Waterboro. Martin ,the owner, was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Everything you needed was provided for a relaxing stay. The best part was the outdoors, of course! The direct access to the lake was key, nice sandy beach, gradual entry and the fact that there were four kayaks and two canoes was fantastic as we could all get out on the water together. Also loved the floating dock. The area is a key location, drivable to many little restaurants and necessities. We did a lot of little day trips and hiking in the surrounding areas. Hated to leave Maine.

Everything you need for a wonderful vacation in this cabin. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. The living/dining area is a little tight, but there were 6 adults and we spent as much time as possible outside so it wasn’t a problem. Plenty to do in the water with canoes, kayaks and rafts. There is not an unobstructed view of the lake from the house due to a hill between the cabin and the lake, but we spent most of our time at the beach area and our evenings in the yard by the fire pit. The cabin is also well stocked with games. The beach is close to a neighbor’s beach and in front of another house that apparently has no direct beach access. We were concerned we were on someone else’s beach, but recognized it from the pictures of the cabin and got over that quickly. I’d recommend coming with most of your groceries if possible. There aren’t a lot of stores or restaurants in the immediate area. The guys did a little fishing and there are also a few golf courses in the area.

The property has everything you need to stay put and enjoy the experience. Kayaks, canoes, swimming, firepit, BBQ’s, outside eating space and privacy. Inside is very well stocked. You don’t need to bring extras. It was a great VRBO experience.

My husband and I rented this very comfortable and well maintained log cabin for a week. My son, his wife, and two small daughters joined us, as well as my daughter and her husband, and my dog. We just loved every minute of it. The kayaks and canoes were in constant use, and having PFDs available made it so easy. We loved the fire pit and grill as well. What we really appreciated was the luxury of a full sized washer and dryer, though. Having them available made such a difference. We only got one day of rain, and Waterboro is close enough to Portland that we just took my grandchildren to the children's museum there. The owner was more than helpful over several months of endless questions from me. We can't wait to go back
