I could write a novel here. our first time to chance a 30 day booking. but it lived up and exceeded our hopes. we are budget travelers. cause we travel a LOT. many VRBO stays. 30 or so. we saved a full year for this trip. we traveled to Sheila's place from Florida. this place is by FAR the best value for money. and we hope to be welcomed back. yes, we were very lucky to get the chance to stay at this gem.. we had such a lovely stay. book it. you will love it. I said to one of the friendly campers,,,it was like falling into a lovely rabbit hole...we just got lucky.

Really lovely perfectly appointed with everything that you can need. The place is very small, perfect for a single person or a close couple. It's at the end of a road populated with about 15 trailer homes. I never heard or saw anyone from that place. The cottage is directly on the beach, at high tide the water is less than 2-3 metres away!! The place was very clean. Every store that you can imagine is within a 4 min drive. It was warm inside even at the end of November. The hostess was very responsive and friendly and helpful. My only"negative" is the beach itself. It's all fist sized rocks EVERYWHERE. It's very pretty, but it's not much fun for long walks. Sandy beaches are found moments away by car, just not at the house. Other than that I'd totally recommend this place. It's really sweet.

A truly gem of a place. With the beach at your doorstep, the greeting of the waves and the lovely space inside - how could you not relax & feel pampered. Thanks so much to Sheila whose prompt correspondence helped make it all happen last minute for me. Looking forward to returning already!

This has been my 2nd stay at the cabin this year. The owners are great, always available to answer my questions. Or bring me grapes from their vines. I would definitely recommend it.

The cottage was super clean, well stocked, cozy and in a perfect location. It was everything we had hoped it would be. The bed and pillows were comfortable which is always a bonus. The owners responded promptly to messages. We can't wait to visit again next year.

Stayed for 3 weeks. Found it a little difficult cooking without oven or toaster/oven.

Amazing! Loved the cozy cottage and waking up to the sound of waves, sea lions and birds. Totally enjoyed watching the sea lions and were lucky enough to watch pods of sleeping ocras two mornings in a row! Sheila was helpful, kind and quick to respond. Definitely want to book this cottage again!

We had a magical stay over the holidays at this beautiful property with breathtaking views of the ocean, just steps from the property. We spent mornings watching the seals playing the water, and were surrounded by towering trees covered in snow. The cabin was clean and cozy. Would love to go back!

Impressive little cabin, had everything we needed, close to family we were visiting!

This was an incredible place for my partner and I. It’s secluded but still close enough to drive to places. It’s exactly as shown in the pictures, super clean and peaceful!!! If you need a place to get away this is it!!!! Perfect for one or two people. It has everything you may need (cooktop, BBQ, dishes, microwave and fridge). We LOVED IT HERE. We rented a car but if you don’t it a bit of a walk to get to places. Sheila was an incredible host who responded to any questions very quickly. Definitely 10*

Every part of our little get away was perfect. Sheila was the perfect host and the little cottage was a charmer right on the ocean.

We LOVED this place! Cozy and compact, with everything we needed and nothing we didn't. 4 steps off the front porch to the beach, quiet and peaceful, friendly neighbours. Great beach-cottage design with plenty of storage. We've recommended it to family and friends.

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this quaint little property! Waking up to the sounds of the waves, seals and birds each day was heavenly. This little cottage by the sea is the perfect get away. The cleanliness was impeccable. The views are breathtaking. Stay in and enjoy the sound of the waves and cozy fireplace or go exploring the sights and local adventures. The only downside was the bed was on soft side for for me. Sheila is a super friendly and welcoming host.
