When I saw the pictures of this little hide away and the view of Swan Pond, I was hooked! It is exactly as described. Very clean, kitchen was well stocked, the bed was a bit hard for my taste but perfect for my husband’s bad back. There’s a Stop & Shop very close by so no worries if you forget something. There’s also an Urgent Care in the same shopping center. We did a few things over weekend but honestly, I could have just sat and stared at the beautiful view all weekend and I would have been very happy! Would love to go back one day.

This is our second time coming to the cottage and we are going to try to book it for the fall. Also, we love the quiet and the pond. Everything about this little cottage is amazing if I had the money I would try so hard to buy this property.

We had a difficult time finding the house. We finally found the cottage, rather. So … the road had many pot holes, its a long dirt road. We past a very odd property with lots of junk, lots of junk. This property is a couple of houses away. The bathroom cabinet, dirty. I cleaned it. The shower very old, run down The TV needed help, my husband fixed it. Plastic dishes in the kitchen. My husband cut his foot in the bathroom.l, heal area. A small peice of glass by the toilet. The house smelled smokey. The plus side- Great views, the bed was very comfortable. Get a truck if you plan on staying here.

We came in October. The cottage is well-furnished and in a quiet and lovely location right on the pond. We had our dog with us. All had a refreshing and relaxing time. Highly recommend.

Picture perfect cottage so close to the water, feels like you’re on a boat, except no rocking! Just a weekend away to enjoy the Cape and some fall colors.

This home is right on the water of Swan Pond, exactly as it is shown in the pictures. There is a nice size deck with ample furniture, a picnic table, and kayaks. The bedding was quite comfortable. The only improvement that I can suggest is to supply better toiletries. We had a kids formula 3-in-1 soap/shampoo/conditioner that we found hard to rinse off our bodies and out of our hair. And some facial tissues would have been helpful. Our favorite day at this location was a nice sunny one where we could hang out during the afternoon to kayak, read, and play games. Loved that day!

Wonderful central location. Photos of the rental are very accurate. Nice airy, open floorplan with lots of windows and lots of light! And right on the water. Very cozy and comfortable space. It rained a lot while we were there so it was nice to have lots of natural light as we snuggled up to the fire place to read books or watch a movie. We hope to return!

The house is very well taken care of and very clean. Close to beaches and very quiet. I think the trees should be trimmed so you can get a complete view of the pond.

Quiet beauty, a paradise!

Our stay was everything that we were expecting and more! Definitely gave the Cape Cod feels we were hoping for, and memories we will carry with us. The little beach was great for our daughter; she woke up every morning and went right out there to explore. Kayaking to the little island was one of our favorite things about the property; as well as the location and beautiful sunshine that illuminated the cottage each morning. Will definitely be returning 🙂

We love this property. It’s proximity to the pond (about 3 feet) makes you feel like you are a boat. The views are truly stunning. We love using the two kayaks on the pond. The water seems to be well, and has a yucky taste, but they have a Brita filter in the fridge which helps. I wish they had kitchen dish cloths. Don’t forget things like shampoo and conditioner- they don’t provide that stuff. The owner is really receptive when you message her.

House was BEAUTIFUL! Well stocked, clean. Sunny and air conditioned. Deck with nice furniture, fire pit, hammock, outdoor shower. Just amazing! Only drawback was the road to get there. The road was very uneven. Small sedan would have trouble driving in. But secluded and central location. Oh, did i mention its right on the lake? Real swans!

Hello, this was our first visit to Cape Cod. The home we stayed at was perfect. The location was perfect. I fell in love with the house, the beds were cozy, and it was beautifully decorated and the overall cleanliness was exceptional. The owner was very supportive during the whole process. There are a couple things we noticed that I wanted to mention about items that would be useful in the kitchen. It could be an oversight, I may have been looking in the wrong place . We could not find a cookie sheet, hot pads, dish towels. I would recommend you visit this precious home. We enjoyed very much!

The cleaners did a very good job. The lake is beautiful and the house is very comfortable and pretty. There are good restaurants nearby, too. Only small negatives - lockbox would not open; road is very rough at the end, and closet door is stuck closed on one side. Otherwise, we loved it.

Beautiful open layout with direct access to the pond. Stunning sunsets from the deck never dissapoint. Plenty of bird and animal life to observe. All in a nice quiet location at the end of the road. There are also several places to hike nearby and an easy trip to Cape Cod National Seashore, Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Peggy’s pretty hideaway on Swan Pond. Loved being right on the water - great view and it was easy to get our kayaks in and out for a paddle. House was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Quiet and perfect location for visiting other family in South Dennis.

We stayed here with our dog and absolutely loved it! The house is beautiful and very cozy with lovely views of the pond. The location is fantastic and nothing was better than reading a book on the hammock and watching the sunrise. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone, especially if you have a dog and look forward to staying here again!

Truly a gem. If you are looking for a serene, breathtaking, convenient vacation rental- this is the place. Plenty of space and well maintained (especially the outdoor furniture, which is surprising for an area known to have rough winters). Definitely plan to spend significant time sitting out and watching the pond, bring binoculars. We saw two bald eagles! I was regretful to have not had another day just to spend by the pond. Speaking of which, plan to eat outside if you will have meals in a group, as there is only a kitchen island to eat at indoors, but there's a picnic table outside- not a problem at all for us! As others mentioned, take it easy on the unpaved road. If you're City Folk like we are, remember that you are coming to nature! Cape Cod is for rustic lodging and getting away from the din- let go of your luxury hotel notions and you'll be in heaven.

My partner and I needed a vacation so bad and we were lucky enough to find this beautiful location for three days of relaxation, beautiful scenery and tranquility. Highly recommended. We will be coming back next year or later on in this year.

Such a perfect spot to get away from it all. I woke up each morning to the most breath taking sunrises. The host was quick to get back with questions.

This was a great weekend for my husband and me. We wanted to relax and just spend some down time together and this was the perfect place. The house was clean right on the water beautiful views. The working fireplace for the cold nights adds that extra touch it was a very peaceful weekend. I would defiantly come back again.

A Perfect Location. A Lovely Residence. A Perfect Vacation Getaway.

Our family loved our stay in this Cape Cod cottage. It was the perfect getaway! Wonderfully situated (talk about waterfront access) on beautiful Swan Pond, it's an idyllic spot. The cottage is close to everything, yet completely private. It's also the loveliest place to loaf around and take it easy: spacious, super comfortable, and squeaky clean. All of us absolutely loved it - we're already planning a return trip for next year.

Always a restorative stay, surrounded by ever-changing views of nature. Bring your binoculars! Be prepared too, for an adventurous drive in on Cedar Lane to reach the cottage. Private spot yet close to stores - very handy. We chose to share cleanliness and maintenance feedback privately with Peggy. Looking forward to another return trip next fall.

We had 2 adults, 2 boys (7 and 5yo) and our 1yo girl. We also had our senior dog. The property wad perfect for the 5 of us. Well equipped for cooking, canoeing, going to the beach, etc. Full laundry facilities were well equipped, and I liked how they had various other items stocked like cleaning supplies, spices in the spice rack, etc. Overall this property was perfect....great location to the beach, to the ferry terminal, and to the grocery store. We plan on staying here annually!
