This house is very nice, very clean, and very well equipped. It has a wonderful covered porch looking out over Lake Sutherland, and easy access to the water. There are also kayaks and paddles, making an excursion onto the lake very doable (and I highly recommend it). The location is also just a short drive to the Spruce RR trail, and the Crescent Lake trails and lodge. Really hard to beat!

The pictures and description are 100% accurate! We stayed at Ron & Andrea's home on Lake Sutherland for 3 nights we did not want to leave for the 2nd half of our trip! While we were there we were able to see the aurora borealis! I have pictures I'd love to share with the owners if that's possible. The beautiful colors above their home were spectacular!

This is one of those properties that is better than advertised. The view of the lake and mountains across the lake were perfect when enjoying morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. Fully equipped with kayaks and paddle boards, and probably other stuff we didn't get to. The kitchen is fully equipped. Just an overall great experience. Oh, and if you're a Twilight fan, don't miss Forks!

We enjoyed spending New Years at Lake Sutherland! There is a lot to do nearby even in the winter, and the house is lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and watching the fog roll in and out of the lake. The house is very well outfitted and was great for two couples. We all thought the beds were comfortable, too. Our only issue was that the water tasted heavily of chlorine, but we would still stay here again. If you are deciding where to stay, and this is available: do not hesitate and book!

We loved this home so much that we are already booked for next year. The only thing that needs attention is the trees leading down to the dock. The 2 trees need to be cut back. But hey, that’s the only complaint! The house is well stocked with kitchen ware. Deck furniture is great. The dock is spacious and beautiful. We brought our waverunner and loved being able to hook it up to the “roll n go” rack. Can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay on Lake Sutherland. While the weather wasn’t always perfect, we were still able to enjoy the beautiful lake views and venture out on some nearby hikes! This cabin has everything you need, was clean, and clearly well maintained. We hope to come back again next year!

This was a great place for our family; especially, the outside area. Everything was great and as advertised. The only issue as I had read in previous comments was getting someone to answer the phone for arrival but we were able to get in fine. Great place!

Really enjoyed our stay at this home in gorgeous Lake Sutherland. Communication was excellent. We experienced an unexpected power outage shortly after checking in that impacted a wide swath of the community and it was easy to in touch with the owner to make sure we knew where emergency supplies and flashlights were. The home was clean, had kayaks and SUPs for use (huge bonus, so fun!), laundry, and pretty much everything else a family would need. Also, the proximity to Lake Crescent and the rest of ONP was ideal. Hope to stay again in the future.

The house is in a beautiful setting perfect for hiking, time on the lake and just relaxing.

We had the best time at Ron and Andrea's home. The location was wonderful. It is so near Port Angeles and also so near Lake Crescent, both places were just a near by drive. The house itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. It has everything you need from cooking utensils to good linen to lots of towels. The house being on the lake front was so beautiful, it made our stay very relaxing. Highly recommend this VRBO for folks who want to be central while visiting the Olympic National Park.

The pictures do not do this place justice at all.! I have stayed in many Vrbos, and this place was by far the best. The home has everything you would need for a comfortable stay with views that will blow your mind! Sitting in a hot tube watching snow-capped mountains is like a dream. We will absolutely be back :)

This is a fabulous place to stay! The home is beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the view of the water is breath-taking. We had a great time exploring the area and just sitting on the deck, watching the otters and ducks. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!

The home, views, beds, amenities and everything provided felt just like home. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need and more. Beds were comfy and the views unbeatable. We had an amazing relaxing weekend and we’re impressed by everything with the hosts and home. We would 100% rent and stay again and greatly appreciated the hospitality!

Such a wonderful space to getaway from the hustle and bustle. The home is wonderful. Comfortable beds and plenty of space! The only slightly tricky part was the call button by the gate upon arrival...it wouldn't call for me, but luckily another guest let us in. We could have certainly called the homeowner to figure it out if that wasn't the case so it wasn't a huge deal, but that was the only thing that was slightly confusing during our great stay there!!

We absolutely loved our time on Lake Sutherland! We have stayed at some amazing rentals outside of national parks, but this place quickly became a favorite! We loved using the kayaks and paddle boards, relaxing on the deck, and grilling out. Would recommend this stay to anyone!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lake house. It was generously stocked and that was much appreciated. The view is mesmerizing. We enjoyed the short drive to Lake Crescent for daily hikes. Thank you!

The title sums it up!

We have been to Lake Sutherland for the past few summers and love it there. This was our first time staying here and it was perfect! Lots of lake toys, a hot tub and A/C…what more do you need? The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and the beds/furniture were all comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I could not wait to arrive here! I kept our rental a secret from my husband and boys so they could be surprised with the incredible beauty of this place. Walking in the front door you can immediately see the views of the lake. It was gorgeous even while it rained. We loved being out on the back deck - our morning coffee never tasted so perfect. We didn't get to enjoy being in the lake itself due to the weather but we did love the hot tub and just soaking in the lake life. This neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The house was perfect inside. We really liked the layout. I loved the small toiletries provided in the bathrooms. That was such a nice touch! We had everything we needed except for a pasta strainer. The kitchen is really well stocked. I truly hope we can come back and stay here again. This will be hard to beat and I don't think any other rental will ever measure up. We loved it so very much and had the best family time on our vacation. Thank you for everything!

Great location that easily allows you to explore multiple locations without needing to move- about an hour to La Push beaches, Sol Duc & Hurricane Ridge, plus Lake Crescent and Log Cabin Resort areas are super close. Loved being able to wake up to the beautiful lake and have coffee before heading out and then come back to the hot tube and lake toys.

The house had a fantastic view of the lake. We had some rainy weather, but all we had to do was sit in the house and enjoy the view. The hot tub was great, and we actually used one of the kayaks the first day to help two young men with an overturned canoe. The house had everything you needed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/plates/just about everything you need. The place was very clean and quiet. The bedroom (we only used one) was comfortable. It was a little far from the city, but we did not need to go into Port Angeles too often. The Olympic National Park was all around us. We really enjoyed our stay, and plan to return. We highly recommend this place.

We stayed a week at this property and it was the perfect base for exploring the northern half of the Olympic Peninsula. We had two young adults and two older adults. The space was comfortable and cozy and the site and views were so enjoyable. We used the deck, kayaks, and paddle boards despite the cold temperatures and went in the wonderful lakeside hot tub every day after hiking and exploring. The kitchen was large and well equipped for cooking. We liked the bottle filler inside the refrigerator. The only things we would have liked to change is having recycling info and containers in the house and a drying rack for wet clothes. We would definitely stay again.

The home was lovely and had everything you would want to enjoy the area and to make some delicious meals. It was raining and snowing and even hail on a few days but still enjoyed the view of the lake!

Love love love!!!! This house had everything you could ever need! Supplies galore and very comfortable. Wi-Fi was good for the teens as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. We loved exploring the lake right off the dock. The view was SPECTACULAR!!!!! And the proximity to the water unlike any other lakefront house I have stayed at- soo close. The ONLY tiny thing I wish it had was the outdoor exterior cord for the cute lights hung on the back deck. I’m a sucker for ambiance and they were there just couldn’t turn them on. Plenty of seating and lots of bedding and essentials. We even saw an otter on the deck! Super fun trip! Next time wanna visit in the summer as Aprilk is chilly still.
